TuanHA Monk - The Ultimate Experience

482 ?tem gear level, mor? that 10k spirit, never have problema whit mana, use configuration in first post, but never i AM the top recount, i raid 10NM and HM and always are 3 healer...but in LFR have the same problem, always have a lot of mina but CC no use, only heal when all raid or player tema have low life.

Any mor? have this problem?

- you should never have above ~40-50% mana at the end of a boss fight. best would be around 10-20% (in my opinion)
-> because if you still have a lot of mana after a boss fight, you wasted it. but it's a bit tricky to adjust the settings of the CC for your own char good enough to get the most out of it. this means: maxing the output you can run (every fight), but not going OOM by doing this (at least before the boss died)

so try to increase the %'s of your most used spells OR/AND use Spinning Crane Kick more often by urself.

Note to Spinning Crane Kick: in situations where the melee's / raid drops and the raid is most likely "grouped" up i always use Chi Torpedo and when Chi Torpedo is on CD i use Spinning Crane Kick. But you should always use Chi Torpedo before using Spinning Crane Kick. reason should be clear ;)

also in some fights you can do the best healing you can do with your monk, but you won't get #1 on the healing charts.
this is just because most of the other heal classes got more utility for most of the fights than monks and that's why you will sometimes not be able to be #1 on the healing charts.

but for the start:
- try to "analyze" your own fights (what can you do to get more healing in some situations, which settings do i have to decrease or increase for which boss fight, etc)
- if you still got a lot of mana after the boss was killed (let's say a fix value of: >= 50% mana) - increase the %'s of Renewing Mist, Soothing Mist (higher Soothing Mist % = more Chi builded = more Chi for Uplift = more healing/hps) - i would say a value between 10-30% mana after the boss is killed is okay to say "i've put out most likely the best i've could done, without going OOM before the boss is down and still got enough mana as backup if something would have gone wrong during the fight." (example: a crush by garalon, caused by some1 who walked into the purple circle).

so, this is a lot of text. maybe someone will read it ;D

Hi I have a question,

I have the TuanHAMonkSpecialEdition but she can not be update. revisoin 105

sry for my bad english

What is the tyrael botbase that people talk about??
You can find a link to download it in the Druid > MAD routine, think that's where I got it. Feels like the response time is superior to other bots, as mosuri says, you should not be high in mana, and also if you raid with a disc priest then expect not to be top due to their utilities in some fights.

And for god's sake use chi torpedo :-D

Thx for all information, i try 2 LFR this morning :

Whit Raid Configuration by default : Always top 1 and 20-30% mana

Whit your configuration first post : Top 4 and 40-60% mana mana.

So, i think that you configuration is for people that dont have good spirit, but in my case, i prefer healer more to raid

I hope the coming monk version 2.0 will not let you down. Give me 1-2 more week.

Mounting is still causing an issue with movement but singular works fine with mounting everything else seems to work so far

Edit: There isn't an error in the log which is why i have not posted one

Edit #2: Its only with Mistweaver that mounting doesn't work

I have a question for everyone and Tuanha. Fist weaving seems to stop working. I have it set for CTRL - T but its just does not work. It use to say that it was on and did a really good job. Do you guys know why this is not working anymore? Also the AOE is the same way. I just make sure I do it manually until I find a fix.

ok now im asking again, can we get one Save button to the specs and styles(raid, dungeon and so on) i mean im jumping between dungeon and raid, and if i edit some values in raid, and after raid i use dungeon and edit and then jump back to raid, i have to do it again, why aint my changed numbers in raid saved?

Sorry to let you guy "feel" Monk is being abandoned.

Actually I'm working on Monk version 2.0 so the support for old version is a bit sluggish. :D

Sorry for inconvenience and I hope Monk 2.0 will be rocking soon.

Oh don't misunderstand, I know you're working on 2.0 which is why I used the word "abandoned" (stopped updating 1.0 in favor of working on 2.0). That's why I said we've either just gotta be patient until 2.0 or use your awesome Pally CC.

I play Brewmaster and haven't had any issues with the CC yet (it's a tad annoying when I'm trying to move and it tries to roll to a target, rolling me off a cliff or etc, but that's minor stuff and adjustable lol).

Sounds like a good suggestion. So "custom profile" support (ability to set your own profiles, like he currently has setup as "AFK" or "Raid" and etc.). Sounds like a special edition feature to me though. ;)

i got donators and i tought there would be one, cause it always just goes to default when i push raid or dungeon even after i have done my own changes

I use two downloads of honorbuddy for this, well actually 3 total.

1st HB is my raid healing/tanking settings with this CR- I do tend to change settings for healing alot depending on which boss I am on but its roughly the same. I use no plugins with this HB and no other CR in the folder.

2nd HB is my General healing/tanking settings - for doing outdoor raid bosses, dungeons, or killing elites solo or with friends when I want to be lazy. All my plugins for fun is in this HB, same with other CR's.

3rd HB is my gathering HB - This CR is setup just for farming herbs/ores nothing else is in it but plugins to speed up my gather time, and CR's used by my multiple toons to farm.

Just always seemed easier like this so my raiding CC would never have plugins slowing its loading down.

I had to reinstall HB and i lost the svn to the Special Edition i know my username and password but i cant find the download link can someone help me.

The Monk is currently on revision 48, the version have 105 revision is the one on Riouxsvn and it already not been updated since 2 months...

So the version on revision 48 is better
