Tuanha I was wondering if you could maybe post up pictures of each of your settings tab as they are today? I just started doing 2s today and not sure if all the settings are the best. Seems to be doing ok but not great. Thank you very much! I'm unholy by the way. I loaded the unholypvp file but its set to go into blood at 60% health? Doesnt seem right.

Hi, I always use/update MY setting in User Setting folder, if you load "TuanHA Death Knight Unholy PvP.xml" then you have exactly what my settings.

Go into Blood Presence at 60% is a much need for DK in arena because without it you can get 1 shot and your healer can't help on that.

By the way, there's NO perfect setting, you need to change to fit what you need.

I change setting every game myself for example vs team we can burst, I use Necrotic Strike on 3 Death Rune and Activate Burst BUT vs team we can't burst them down and need to do more damage for make pressure (any warlock team with portal for example) I use Necrotic Strike on 1 Death Rune and do not activate burst...

You should know yourself, your team, your enemy to adjust setting accordingly to get high rating...

The setting is there for you to change to fit what you need. IF there's a perfect setting then I don't have to make a complicated GUI like this and just hard code it into combat routine.

So please stop asking for good/best/perfect settings, they do not exists on any combat routine of mine, on this hb forum or anywhere in the world... they just don't exists.

Love to see a log cedric, you already know I can do nothing without it as Necrotic working perfectly for me and most user.

tuanha becouse i set trinket1 burst mode(ctrl+3) and routine use trinket1 cooldown? same for raise dead and gargoyle?

Turn up you interrupt MMS to something less the .5 seconds maybe 1-2 seconds or 1-1.5 little more realistic.

AND ABOVE ALL can someone explain me what Enable Framelock means AND SHOULD I put it on or off on tyrale???

Also whats the difference between normal, slow and extreme performances and should it matter where it is or does it increase the dps in any way ??

If you use Tyrael and click one of the his setting "Extreme Performance" it will set your frame-lock for you. I would recommend this for you.

Mr Robot is right ask on their forums if you don't think its right. It probably your settings. Look up 2k plus DK and look at his stats why tuanha?

Gems and reforge depend on what set up you are playing, if your playing a DoT cleave with a SP , Moonkin, Affli lock, Gem and reforge on the side of mastery. If you are running with a warrior Aka TSG, or a hunter aka PHDk reforge and gem on the side of Crit, This is what i found from my own research, i suggest you go do some of your own still though, you might be boting, but you still need too know the class, the set up you are playing and general pvp knowhow. Goodluck

Alright thank you very much. I asked because I went with mr robots reforge and gemming and its favoring crit over everything else and my dps seemed to go down. So I reforged all the haste into mastery now instead of crit and I seem to do be doindg quite a good amount of more dps. But I still have mostly crit gems.. so now im wondering if i should switch them for mastery gems instead of crit gems.

But doing that im scared that now i'm going to have too much mastery and not enough crit. I don't know. I'm also looking at some top unholy dks and they gem straight strength gems but mr robot never does that. So I feel I'm not help to any partner since I don't know what to reforge into and gem.

I have been researching but its always a different answer so I'm stuck just randomly trying stuff, which I guess is what I'm going to have to do.. just try all the different combinations. But thanks for you guys who replied.

Mr Robot isn't correct about the stat weights for Unholy Dk..or even 2 hander Frost for that matter.

Unholy is more of a balance of Stats..but you will generally spec Str(this will be your best unholy stat by far)>Haste>Crit>Mastery. Haste takes on more of a value especially as you are sitting in Blood Presence the majority of the time if you are at all going to be targeted.

2hander Frost will now be Str>Crit>Haste>Mastery . You can't reforge all your haste away like Mr Robot says or you will have so much rune downtime and you won't proc as much.

I can't give you any accurate stat weights as they will vary depending on your ilvl. Pvp power is generally half of strengths weight now.

Panacea Ive actually been using a master/crit reforge/gem strat..seems to be working good.. i might try the haste one after. But looking at the top of the leaderboards the unholy dks are leaving haste as the worst stat.

Panacea Ive actually been using a master/crit reforge/gem strat..seems to be working good.. i might try the haste one after. But looking at the top of the leaderboards the unholy dks are leaving haste as the worst stat.

Most are reforging off crit for haste/mastery and gemming for strength pvp wise(the ones that are actually still playing). Pve wise go with the weighing i posted above. Haste and crit are higher than mastery mathematically by a small amount if in constant contact with your oppenent. Mastery provides more dps uptime if you are not keeping good uptime on your target within melee. You still need a good balance of haste for rune regen despite that uptime whether you are in unholy pres or blood(especially blood). I think it is personal preference of how much crit you want to reforge off in pvp depending on how well you do and keeping in contact with your targets depending on comp.

Also, If using Tuahna's routine, use the new advanced hotkey feature and save configs using Necrotic Strike and one without. Sometimes you are just want to chopdown opponents favoring Scourge Strike.

In my experience, it generally won't use AoE abilities when in range of a CC'd target (unless you have the setting "AoE when in range of number of target: 3" turned on), however it may use them AS your partner is CC'ing them, which would result in an "accidental" break...however would look pretty iffy if your partner gave you 5 secs warning or so and you still did it...but you could just hold down "Shift" or "Ctrl" or some other key that will initialise the "auto pause on manual key press" which will then pause the routine, until your partner has successfully used their CC.

However, if you're in Range to BB the healer, I doubt they will be dot-free, in which case Wyvern will break anyways, the hunter would have to use Scatter or Freezing trap on them to get rid of your dots.

Actualy uptime in with Crit isnt that important, The extra crit is Basicly for Soul reaper crits and Gargoyle Burst, Also depends what ladder you are looking at, high ranked EU DKs are more often than not Mastery / Crit, too counter all the kiters/ranged we have at high ratings, US Dks all seem to be gemming pure Str haste/mastery reforge, Suggesting they encounter more melee than ranged possibly.

Well I also have difficulties with the Blood DK version. It does not even spread diseases in AoE packs. All it does is spamming rune strike, heartstrike and so on. No DnD, no diseases, no Blood Boil. Do I miss something?
