[Tripwire Spam Thread] anyone cant login DB? tripwire ?

meh, banned or not banned... if i can't bot diablo 3, there is no reason for me to play it. the amount of time required for "the grind" is completely absurd.

It's something that comes up the instant you look for any D3 related *****ing tools. People know about D3 and its botters, but no one talks about it like some hot topic every single day unless their attention is brought to it. One thread for instance came up on here and showed his twitch.tv stream of him botting and there was about a 1000 viewers even after the mods took the topic off. At the end of the day, I was just ranting and clearly it's just my own opinions based on my own speculations as I've stated in my previous post. People can think what they want, I just decided to rant on here and also advise those who assume it's nothing serious, to be hopeful but also be ready for the worst possible outcome.

Been botting 24/7 since release, even back in the immortal bot... Bot with honorbuddy, demonbuddy, never been banned.... Just a smart botter- never messed with in-game economy, never made myself a target..Not #1 on the leaderboards.... Unbanned 4 life.

thankfully i stopped the bot to go play league of legends.
 
Holy shit I might be safe. Worrying all day at work about what my log would say. Get home and checked it. Did not contain the words Trip or wire and the last lines are this.

Which matches the time I had chrono shutdown set to turn off my computer. Only problem I have now is after 6 hours of killing key wardens I have +40 of each key that I planned on using the bot to run. Fuck dealing with Maghda for 40 keys.

I had it open, but had not hit run. I imagine it was injected regardless... had opened it 6 mins before tripwire, and had only run it once the day before. No detections since 2014, i come back and decide to bot at exactly the detection time. Ha... well then, Good fight luck.

I'd be more interested to see how many people are playing the game if they were to ban people using any of these:

Turbohud, D3Helper, Demonbuddy, Ros-Bot, AHK scripts that do more than one action.

Ye.... not sure there would be a lot of activity in the game at all since people who use these addons are the ones that play the MOST MANUALLY as well!!
 
So wait, whats the point of tripwire if we're getting banned anyway?

or am i misunderstanding? Raphus said if you where online when it went off the accounts are probably in trouble?
 
If you logged on after it went live apparently, probably doesn't update Warden if you're already in the game. Also tripwire is to stop further accounts from getting in trouble.

so if you TRIED to launch it, even though auth servers where down? That just means tripwire is pointless again if you don't need to auth to get flagged.

I'm just trying to grasp how we got flagged if the purpose of tripwire is to protect us.
 
Someone clarify this please:

If I were running bots from 20.00 UTC > 21.37 UTC (when tripwire activated) - Is this flagged?

Or is it only flagged for those who LAUNCHED DB AFTER 21.05 UTC

Like this: 21.06 UTC > 21.37 - Flagged?
 
Ok so is warden Updated Globaly? I mean US, EU, And Asia and so at the same time? Since it happened at around 9 o clock EU time which is around 3 o clock east coast US time. And maintenance and all is Tuesday on US and Wednesday on EU (it happened on Tuesday). I dont think personally the EU team of blizz is gonna do such a thing at 9 o clock in the evening so it might be that it only affected US clients and EU was just recently updated today. This might just be speculation, but was wondering what other people think about this.

were logged in to Diablo 3 or Hearthstone after 21:05 UTC, but haven't launched Demonbuddy/Hearthbuddy until the tripwire event

I was logged in, botting all morning. Got home and saw that diablo & demon buddy were closed. So, I logged back in to d3, started up DB, and saw the tripwire message. Guessing that means I'm flagged? Oh well, haven't played since s1 and wouldn't play without a bot.

Probably not. It means that the patch went through - server side, on blizzard's end. You hadn't downloaded it yet, or if you did in the background it hadn't been applied. You noticed the game and DB client were closed, so you reopened them. Demonbuddy had already updated THEIR authentication servers and didn't inject itself into the client because they had tripwire in place. Should be safe, man.

I did the same as you did...=p.. I thought it was just a disconect...well at least they think we are fucked bro...we still have a chance hahahahaha
 
Oh well bad luck is bad luck i guess. I had the bot for 10 days only mainly for farming rift keys for greater fishing. It was running last night at the event time but i have closed both d3 and the bot before the auto shutdown. Don't know if i am flagged and tbh i don't really care. I knew the risks and if i am not banned i will run the buddy again.
