I've lost like 6-7 diablo accounts with DB, when they really want to swing the banhammer you'll get banned is all I'm saying.

Well since you've lost like 6-7 accounts I guess it makes what ur saying true. Gabinator has youtube videos of admitting on twitch to botting, his character has had about 6 hours of break when I last looked from the start of the season. Let's take a look if he's banned.. hmm nope not banned.. strange. . I'm just saying that ur story telling

I can answer to one of my questions. Diablo version with warden didnt change. We are on 2.4.0.35616 at least from 8feb. So they did change without updating version? Crazy.
Warden is not the game, it's a different program not directly related to the game patches.

He may be or he may not be, if he was using DB during the time of real money trading AH and so forth then I can see it as being very true. As opposed to your example of now where they know that many of the leader board and streamers have impossible amounts of playtime in.

So it may be a case of actually being required to police a system due to the fact that real money is involved versus current model of no money, no subscriptions and zero trading. Two very different time frames of botting safety.

Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and call BS here. The last report of an actual ban from using DB was back in October of last year. And yet you're hear claiming that you've lost 6-7? You've never once mentioned being banned at all on these forums until this post.

If you've actually lost 6-7, you have to be the least lucky person ever on these forums, or you're doing something specifically to get banned...Like streaming actual botting sessions or something similarly stupid.

the actual ban of october was because of hellfire amulet exploit (the one that make u have all the passives) and not db

I think that is Blizzard's use of their hotfix mentality. They can adjust a good amount of things without having to directly change the software.

yeah as far as ROS goes the only time I can think of botting bans was beginning end of season1 and leading into season 2. Some people were player reported for having 24/7 playtime and being top of leader charts and blizzard cared. Beyond that it everything is pre ROS and during RMAH.

As others have mentioned, Warden is a server side scan. It doesn't require changing the game software itself unless they want to specifically scan for offsets interacting with game files.

Inferring that because something happened to yourself a few times, to mean that it can happen to anyone is fear mongering without proper explanation of the circumstances.

Also which model are we currently running in RoS? If ur referring to real money then the example is disqualified on the grounds that none exists in D3 atm. If his example pertains to real money being involved then he gets an F for comparing different contexts but treating them as they are identical.

I have never had an infraction for diablo 3 botting, I also never started botting diablo3 until after RoS where RMAH was gone. So sorry no fear mongering, I'm just stating what has been said. Most bans for botting happened before RoS released and while RMAH was active as well as any trading. With or without real money involved. I was suggesting that his 6-7 infractions/bans may have happened during that time frame. Key points about this time frame, was it DB? Yes. Was it within diablo3? Yes. Its the same demonbuddy as now with less functionality.

This does not automatically disqualify it because you think this does not apply, thats like saying that a baseball team who won a world series before 1973 is not valid because it was before the current state of the game where designated hitters are allowed in half of the league. Now if he has not botted during that time frame then I do agree that if he has 6-7 bans during this season based play, that really doesn't add up. Or he has an obsession with botting in public games and generating play reports.

Given the fact that his forum join date is 10.07.2012, it is entirely possible that he was using DB during the preRoS time frame.

deep... very deep thought

That is concerning and scary to know that suggesting a possible valid explanation to something being called BS is deep thought. :D

Given ur suggestions, was it him botting yes? was the botting related to DB or him personally? Was diablo 3 providing extra revenues via the auction house or selling gold? yes, was there an economic incentive for blizzard to clamp down swiftly on people taking away it's profits? yes. Are those incentives for blizzard still around? no.. would a company which runs for profit dedicate a team of programmers to clam down on botters in a game which provides no revenues? no.. two different financial structures at play and you're implying that they are relevant to each other.

It does automatically disqualify him, regardless of how absent of lacking ur knowledge statistics. Comparing a 1973 baseball team to a 2016 baseball would constitute a really questionable conclusion. To simplify it for you, comparing a car from 1980 to a 2016 model and inferring that somehow ur experience driving the 1980 model has provided you with some insight into how the 2016 model drives is a bit off.

Grab the drunkard's walk by Leonard Mlodinow, it will help clean up that dirty A=B thinking when in reality A=1 and B=2.

I was nursing my bot and reloged exactly at 9:10. I think I'm fuck and, damn, I wasnt even a 24/7 botter.

This is what I have in the demondubby log. and the time above is Sydney time. so it should be between 2016-02-09 21:19 - 2016-02-09 21:40 UTC time.
does this mean my account has been flagged?

The new version of DB just launched, but it just crashes as soon as it launches.
