I don't agree, this has been covered before anyway. Blizz has the right (see the TOS) to scan your systems memory and they would be able to see your running processes including Demonbuddy.exe Renaming the exe makes this more difficult. Anyway, if I want to rename the exe I should be able to do so as I see fit.

According to EULA/TOS Blizzard has rights to scan memory that has been directed for Diablo III or other games - through Warden.
They cannot scan entire RAM and even if they do, it's not base for banning people.
 
I have been renaming the exe since day one and it never caused any issues at all before, so I didn't really even consider that.

You must not be reading what i type, man. Creating this guide, i hope to help people who have trouble. If i am not mistake, you said, that you have followed it and nothing happened. Did you see anywhere to either use your old demonbuddy files or rename your db exe? How hard is to just do as someone says, without thinking, blindly following? Then if it works, just think back about what you do different and there you have it- that is what was wrong. -_-

About the renaming and whether or not it does anything- well, if they scan your memory or whatever is injected into your D3 process(provided this is how they flag or ban), do you think they would miss it, just because it is named differently? Especially when they see something that shouldn't be there? Do you really think they care whether you bot or you use a maphack or you use a simple autoit script or whatever. They'd just see a third party thing injected in your D3 and you are banned. Moreover, do you have any proof / positive experience with renaming, like having been NOT banned when the rest of us were or something ?

a lot of people have renamed their program file before, those who did had no reason to know that it would cause crases. It was safe to assume that you could still do it.
seems you can't anymore (yet?)and that has now been address.

Hi rrrix,

When launching demonbuddy via a .bat file, trinity is unable to load the settings files. This was working in the old .13 trinity.

My monk a lot of times just seems to stop moving and/or fighting and end up dead because the monsters surround her and she looks like she is trying to activate a skill but is unable to and she ends up dead.

Fresh install of DB and Trinity 1.7.3.2 and using Questing profile with plugins Quest Tools, Trinity and Unstucker

Just a guess, but try not using Unstucker. You don't need that, trinity has a good unstucker built in.

I think the problem is my monk keeps trying to fire Sweeping Wind before engaging monsters but if the monsters are too near and crowding her, she can't fire off Sweeping Wind and end up dead for trying to do so, instead of using one of my primary attacks

Don't you use inna set? My monks are never out of SW, just recasting it all the time. Also, what do you farm? If you are trying to do the oasis run, it doesn't work well for a monk.

That attitude, man.. now, it is okay to be frustrated, happens to me sometimes as well.. but, i can testify- this version is rock solid. It works pretty fine and does not crash at all. So it is you who is doing something wrong. And please, don't disrespect rrrix, he is doing a helluva job, really. You don't need logs- i've never uploaded logs and i am always able to make good use of the forums. People around here are helpful. My suggestion to you is: read page 1 to 22 and if you don't find the answer.. well.. reinstall following my guide:

1. DELETE EVERYTHING
2. DOWNLOAD THE LATEST DB (not use the one you downloaded 3 days ago- re-download it from the official link here)
3. DOWNLOAD THE LATEST TRINITY here
4. DOWNLOAD THE LATEST ROUTINE here and put it in Routines/Trinity/
5. TRY IT- IT SHOULD WORK. IF IT DOES NOT, --> Programs and Features --> Uninstall Microsoft .NET Framework and Visual C++ Redistributable (might be more than one different versions of it installed) --> RESTART --> open up DB folder / Help folder and there is a file called Demonbuddy dependency installer.exe --> run it and wait for everything to install --> RESTART
6. TRY IT, IT SHOULD WORK!!!! if it does not, then you need to reinstall windows.

I GUARANTEE that if you follow it BLINDLY(that means- you don't think, use anything other than what i provided in the links and you never ever change anything or implement any additional stuff before you see it working) you will get it to work. If it still doesn't, just reinstall windows and do it again. It will work with 100% certainty.

P.S. Especially, DON'T RENAME THE DEMONBUDDY.EXE or rename the trinity folder(it has to be Trinity not GilesTrinity as it used to be with older versions)
