There's something strange happening since upgrading through fresh installation to latest Trinity. Even though I've checked "Use WOTB on hard elites only", the bot spams WOTB every time this skill's timer runs out and has enough fury. Even stranger, in some occasions it'll trigger WOTB on trashmobs but not elites. WTF?!
Running Demonbuddy v1.0.1445.315 with Trinity v1.7.3.2, Lumberjack v1.0.2 and BuddyStats v0.98.
 
i'm having problems with the bot not obeying trash rules when elites are present.

it will stay to kill 1-2 trash mobs with 2 elite packs mixed in and will die to 9 arcane beams + 4 pools of plague instead of just moving to next pack of trash.

Are you ignoring elites? If not, he should target them. Once they are dead, normal trash rules apply.
Unfortunately, rrrix didn't use my entire patch for ignoring trash mobs, so the bot often considers some random mob the primary target, and stays there to kill him. It's a bit annoying, but it doesn't happen too often.
 
Is there some way to tell if a mob has a DOT spell. Like Swarm, Haunt, etc. These are mostly useless ATM. Spamming haunt, or Swarm is not the way to go. Or is there a way to apply a timer? So it is only cast every 10sec? Not the best fix but at least it will help. Maybe set it as an opener while in combat then reset once mobs are cleared? I browsed the guide to editing and there is no reference to timers or infected mobs.

Can you post the build you're using? Locust Swarm is working perfectly for me (it properly detects the DoT). Haunt is currently designed to spam, I'll see if I can fix that.
 
Don't you use inna set? My monks are never out of SW, just recasting it all the time. Also, what do you farm? If you are trying to do the oasis run, it doesn't work well for a monk.

I have an Inna's 3 set and now I realize what the cause of the problem is. I have the Inna's set checkbox checked but realized that it's for the 4-piece Inna's set and not just the Inna's 3 set. I unchecked it. Problem solved.

it doesnt happen "that" often if you watch 1 of them, but when you look at a decent size farm it happens quite often. the logic works quite well when its just a trash pack, i have mine set to 6/20 for size/radius and it normally leaves packs when 2 remain, but when there's elites for some reason it tries to kill the whole pack a lot of the time even with ignore elites on.

just kinda frustrating to watch deaths cause he's auto attacking 1 remaining trash mob with 2 elite packs spamming 13 arcane all over him.

ive tried using avoidance, and it does help with deaths ... but he just ends up kiting for an extended period of time trying to kill the solo trash guy and wastes a lot of time.

I have this, i don't know what to do. I put Trinity in plugins, Trinity route to Combat Routes, and still not working.

Unzip the entire thing into your Demonbuddy directory - it will automatically create Plugins, Profiles, Routines etc.
 
Gave this new version some time to sink in. Tested with Barb in act II key farm (VoA + Oasis) and with Monk in act I (Weeping + FoM).
Working like a charm - no microfreezes, no stucks so far, couple of deaths for a good measure ;)

Just two things I have to point - as usual with every new version :P
Rrrix - can you please do seomthing about these already taken shrines?
Also, avoidance of tree's poop is still quite broken - bot likes to run around inside smoke what ends in death.

Besides these two thingy - great update! Keep the good work.

Remembering about items that dropped during huge fight with couple of big mob groups is just flawless :)

Sometimes Monk is loosing Sweeping Wind for no particular reason. I mean, it has enough spirit to cast it (especially with Inna) but just doesn't do it.
Might be my crappy char's fault of course but perhaps someone can relate to this issue.

Yes, it's basically the same Trinity. This is how you enable the fix for this and future builds:
- edit Trinity/Combat/Weighting.cs
- search for: if (ShouldIgnoreTrashMobs && cacheObject.IsTrashMob && !cacheObject.HasBeenPrimaryTarget &&
- replace this line by: if (ShouldIgnoreTrashMobs && cacheObject.IsTrashMob &&
- restart Demonbuddy

I use this fix in my Trinity, and the bot dies less and has higher IPH. Rrrix might have left the primary target check in for some other builds, so this is only recommended for sprint barbs.

Can you post the build you're using? Locust Swarm is working perfectly for me (it properly detects the DoT). Haunt is currently designed to spam, I'll see if I can fix that.

I have moved the swarm from the mouse slot to another slot and it works great. Haunt would be perfect if you could limit the spam. I use it by:
1. picking a target
2. cast swarm
3. cast haunt (this spell works best on elites, bosses, etc. Sometimes on trash it is pointless if they die quickly. The Duration of haunt is only 6 sec also)
4. main attack
 
Tried this version, ended up with the below every time and d3 closing - however i am on windows 8 not 7;
Rerolled back to an old "gilestrinity" and now working fine. Tried with and without YAR before someone asks, and ran the db prereqs aswell

im also having a problem with not picking up legendaries, and not real sure why... but its a fairly big concern.

pretty much all of them lose legendaries and some are upwards of 50% of ilvl63 which is a huge deal. i'm not sure why its happening... ive got some running on base new trinity and some running with fluffy's combat edit and they both do it.

ilvl63's
10 drop / 6 pickup
14 drop / 8 pickup
9 drop / 8 pickup
17 drop 12 pickup
etc

these were short logs and if they run longer it evens out somewhat, but there is still a decently high % of missed legendaries. maybe it has to do with avoidance / kiting.

its not an item rules thing and its not a ilvl 58 legendary thing... it misses 63's and its not due to deaths ALL the time. sometimes it will just finish the pack and just run off and leave it on the ground. I knew it was bad when i noticed it happening 3 times over the course of a few hours but I hadn't checked logs till now.

i dont really care about rares or < ilvl62's but 62+63's must not be missed if at all possible. losing 30-50% of ilvl 63's almost negates the whole purpose of running high end characters =(.

is there something i dont know of? is it a profile problem? (act 2 oasis) or settings i need to change somewhere?


my bots dying to elites cause of trash rules (almost never die other than this), skips legendaries at times, and my barbs still stutter step to dump rage. these are the things im having problems with atm. still puts out better numbers than previous trinity tho =)
 
Hey guys, I love the Trinity and running a group of 4 Barbs and with the SimpleFollow plugin. I play the leader on my own while the other bots follow.

I am now wondering which Barbar build works best for the follower bots with the latest version of Trinity? Some advice on that would be very helpful. Also a few hints on the Trinity settings would be cool.
