Trinity 1.7.2.13

hi rrrix, got a reproducible bug in 1.7.2.13 in picking up legendary plans

to test:
-buy some cheap legendary/set plans
-drop in front of bot and start

In the trinity settings>items>misc items...
if "legendary plans" is ticked only...then it does not pick it up
if "plans" is ticked...then it does pick up the legendary plans

Was wondering why I have not seen a legendary plan in months and months. It is because I have "plans" unticked and "legendary plans" ticked which is not working properly.

When I try the git version (wanted to test the Cloud of bats version) I get following error when pressing "start":

"Part of the path for c:\...\translation.dis was not found" - translated from systemlanguage.

Also config menu for Trinity is greyed out in DB.

Could it be fixed so we/I could test it :)

Rrrix, i would like to point your attention again to the skipping loot problem happen with the barbs.
Long story short...when barb is in WoB mode and he is running with full inventory .. he totally skips every loot..no matter leg or other. This is extremely bad for barbs running mp10, rend build..trying to hold on WoB as long as possible. Excuse me if you already provide a fix for it in the next version of Trinity...i prefer to mention it twice rather than waiting a lot longer than next version since it's a serious problem(we all play to gain loot after all). I see this happening every day.

so you can use easy fix to avoid this problem - put your potions in the down right corner of the hero's inventory
 
My bottom right corner slot is selected in DB/Settings as protected since very long time. Isn't the same as putting the potions down there ?
Since you are suggesting this .. i doubt which kind of slots DB/Settings allows us to protect..stash or inventory ones(don't remember quite well this..not home right now..and can't check).
Looks like WoB has higher priority than a lot of things..no avoidance..no town runs in this mode. Don't wanna look like a noob who gives suggestions to a pro..but forcing a town run in WoB mode when inventory is full might solve this ?
 
in db you can only protect inventory

but i dont see this bug on my barb even with protection of last inventory cell

Hey guys, i am experimenting with party botting right now.. and i noticed that my barb always has a lot less loot than the other characters (which are NOT barbs). Is this the infamous loot picking up problem or what? I haven't seen it skip anything, just after 24hrs of straight botting all the other toons have twice the loot, sometimes more. At first i thought it was just bad luck, since there is nothing wrong in the pickup logs, but i am starting to think it is not normal :P

Well since you posted about this problem for a first time..and how to solve it..my last inventory slot is protected. I am gonna drop some item of my current gear when the bot is in WoB and with full inventory and see what will happen. But today i saw it skipping a huge amount of loot...tomes, gems, 63lvl items..even 1 legendary. Even after the WoB cool down and after porting back from town to ident all...he still didn't move back to pick what is missed. Will test..and post a log.

Nothing out of the ordinary there, same as all other characters in the team. Just the amount of loot the barb keeps is a lot less than it's gotta be for the given amount of time spent botting. It's not happening on and off, it is a constant thing. Something is definitely off. I remembered seeing people complain that their barbs do not loot all the items, so i decided to ask around. Unlike people who recently posted about that tho, i am not using WoB.. i tried putting my potions in the last (protected) spot and now i am going to wait for results. However, i don't think that is gonna solve the problem. Its very strange; when i've used barbs in the past, for solo farming, they've always performed equally good as any other class i've used (monk).

Here is a video about the problem. Might look little wired .. but basically i've dropped my Iron King Gloves on the ground when the bot was in WoB, full inventory, in the middle of a fight. My bottom right position in the inventory is protected and i noticed that my health potions are there since i don't know when exactly(probably a long time ago).
I stopped the video when he looks like was going back trying to take back the gloves but meet the warden. Just for the record..after killing the warden..he didn't move back to pick them up. My Loot radius is 120.

Here is a video about the problem...

I'd say you were way beyond the range of 120f...

Using 800x600 viewable screen size I did a quick distance check..
An object in the corner of my screen would be around ~75f away, and an object east/west on the edge of my screen is around 45f.

I'd say you were beyond 200f+ once you were near the key warden.

Also, Backtracking does not occur with TrinityExploreDungeon and TrinityMoveTo. These tags "skip ahead" once the bot has been there (both in and out of combat).

So you suggest me..to set loot radius around 300 maybe ? No backtracking needed if the bot reacts properly in this situation. Skipping all the loot and then moving back to collect it..is not a solution at all by my thoughts.

Yes, exactly. Around ~22 per hour for all chars, which is normal considering they all use the same rules and are the same level. Still, yesterday there were more items in the barb, compared to the week before. Maybe moving the potions to the last slot worked.
