Few things that I see being an headache for HB team if they make this 64bit program lite for rotations only will the crs be still available in 32bit full bot?
Will be pointless for people wanting to use 32bit only or for their grinding bots or doing dailies using singular which a lot don't like using.

Then the other issue also is if you done the light weight 64bit program, every time a banwave hits or just possibily all the time you will have people crying foul to do a 64bit full bot seeing as how you done the lightweight version we already see so much of it without it imagen when you do a 64bit light rotation bot.

I'm not against it or anything I like the idea too or anything that will improve HB as a product but still I just see more headaches long term.

Not all of us suck on the hind tit of HB. Some of us sat back and took a long hard look at how bad the bot fell apart this last xpack and saw nothing change and all honest update request being ignored. Hence why my questions were ignored and not answered by raphus. he answers what he wishes and skips some of the most important. maybe why all current content isn't scripted? I don't know about any of you but for people who use the bot to sell accounts could really use the ability to have everything scripted so less they have to do by hands. wouldn't you all like to not have to do hfc lfr's by hand? I know I would still watch it but not have to control it. I'm sure there are other things not scripted as well but I only pve so I don't know anything about the pvp side. All I'm saying is that not everything was done about making hb a better place is was a lot worse and you all feed that nonsense.

64 bit is not only about security...it's a big improve about performance

I am old an decrepit and use CTM. It feels better than the keys to me. You are an elitist who think everyone plays like you. Only those who are young and have been conditioned to use the keys do so.

But since we are voicing opinions I would like to see a better flying system. ATM the flying seems to hug the ground or at least follow the terrain. If Im getting from A to B I go up really high, enough to miss most obstacle and not become a pvp target, then click on the distanmce and it goes. Checking the map every now and then to make sure I dont go into the nethers and die. Sometimes I get distarcted or such and I go into the nethers.

Would be great to see different versions of HB, people that suicide bot and make hundreds of dollars with HB shouldnt use the same version!
Not because I don't want to let them earn money, its just more dangerous for our accounts, that are not like the 10€ bot accounts with a lot of mounts, equip and so on.
+ its actually not worth botting gold atm. Everyone that is working can just buy for 30€ 200k Gold instead of risking his Account or buy another one.
100k is a lot in the game but costs like nothing, shouldnt be like this ...

I and I'm sure most other users dont mind paying a subscription IF we got more then what we get now..

I think the price we pay once of is fine for what we get "out of the bot"

however if they went to sub only- things would need to change such as:
Dungeon buddy- Would need to be support officially and raid scripts for LFR would need to be up to date (as in a few weeks after release).
A 64bit version of the bot would need to be developed (For performance reasons of WOW- nothing more) .
A Combat only (lite) version of HB would need to be included- basically a CR only optimized bot (much like SBR) however standard CRS for HB will work with it.
Store commissions of 40% would need to be reduced to 10-15% - and devs would need to bring there product prices down to reflect (HB would be getting the money from subs as well)
Support would need to improve.. Beyond "how to post a log" followed by the clean install processed"

One of the only reasons I went with HB was the fact that there's no subs.

If they were to do that then I won't be using HB anymore.

That's just my opinion and I doubt I'm the only one that feels this way.

if there would be subs you could have a team that purely focuses on bug fixing and another team that only focuses on new features/reengineering. We wouldn't have a list of hundreds/thousands of bugs the overall usability and performance would rise. EVERYONE would benefit from that.

But what do we have? Be honest, what is the last big feature that was added, something like "questing" or the introduction of custom classes? There is none.
With subs we would already have 64bit version as there would be enough financial resources to fund this.

Of course this requires some more thoughts like

- How to handle people that mass bot
- How to handle people, that only need and want(!) basic functions

But this all could be done. Split it up in basic, premium.

Basic customers get:

- 32bit bot
- singular
- levelpacks as available right now


Premium customers pay monthly, get:

- 64bit bot
- advanced singular (optimized PVE,PVP,...)
- more profiles (Achievements, Mounts, ...)
- priorized support
- early access for future products/betas/features....
- ...

Hands down, make a poll and you will see, people would be willing to pay for stuff like this. (guess what, including me )

It is not only about having security concerns, it is just about making progress.

We could have had stuff like an auction house botbase a lot earlier, easier (like 3rd party devs did it), same for professions, reengineered battleground bot...whatever.
Having a financial scope gives the opportunity for research. Do you think we will see a new version of for example bgbuddy anyway soon? No, of course not....and this thing is called Honorbuddy.

There is a reason why any major software company has service/support fees.

I'm pretty sure that GatherBuddy is already randomizing nodes in its profiles to a fair extent. But, also, server-side heuristics will detect any profile - random or not - that runs for extended lengths of time.
- Enhance the tripwire.. example: It'll shutdown the bot instantly. not after 5hrs
I have to think there's a reason for the delay, but this does seem like a good idea.
- A 64bit version (i know it doesn't matter, but why make it easy for blizz to catch us? 95% of wow players if not more are using the 64bit version of wow. squeeze us(botters) between them) + performance
That doesn't mean a whole lot. Blizz isn't ignoring 64-bit players for botting. They're not banning all 32-bit users, either. I don't think the transition to 64-bit is necessarily an easy task, so this seems like a low-value-add proposal.
- Prevent gold sellers from abusing this bot, mess wow economy and make it target #1 on blizz eyes! maybe make another edition of the bot with sub. Yes let them pay if they want to bot suicidal 24/7.
I don't want Hb to start messing with subs, and I doubt they want to either - there's a different type of implied contract between a buyer and seller when there's a sub involved versus a one-time purchase with a big-ass disclaimer like where we are now. Suicide bots aren't really the problem for a casual botter. In fact, suicide bots are more like a meatshield for the casual botter.
- A way to support the bot? sub for new customers maybe?
For reasons stated above - not a good idea. The Buddy team gets a hefty portion of the sales from paid profiles - if you want to support the team and the community, buy more paid items from the buddy store.
- New builtin tool that will mimic the behavior of your character. example: it can record your DPS rotation, how many times you jump. it will act as if it was you.
Recording a dumb script like that is not going to be as useful as you think. It would need to be semi-random and predictive to be effective atr all, and that's not a small ask.
- More features in bot settings?, like Sound on whisper/stuck, logout on too many Ganks, jump from time to time..etc! (most of us are not programmers)
There have been addons in the past that did this, but some of them are now defunct. Devs lose interest in the game, etc, etc. It would be nice for some of these features to be incorporated into the core bot, though.

you are right (I think) about that hb has to less developers. And those we got are just doing stuff that already has been made(mostly) like lvling and farming profiles.

What would boost the developers is easy GUI for creating profile. same like professionbuddy has.
There are some guys who are teasing us with some pictures and the functions, but those almost never see the daylight and if they do they just gut 1 single update and that's it.

there is no performance difference between 32 and 64 bit, if you see that much your computer is broken...probably full of viruses/trojans!
