Allow me to pretense this post by saying how pleased I am with HB. I've been using HB since 2010 (Wrath) and watched it evolve and grow in complexity and reliability. HB has delivered an experience that allowed me to have fun and continue evolving my character all while not having to invest countless hours into it. For that, and the AMAZING memories, I thank you.

After nearly 11 years of playing WoW, 9+ of them as a botter, I have to say that I enjoyed the game most during Wrath in the lull between Glider and HB. During that time I was able to hit 2200 in arenas, etc. All in all was a blast by hand - again only because the playing ground was "mostly" leveled.

Once I discovered HB I latched on. Suddenly I was able to do BG's while being at work or sleeping or playing with my kids. It just changed my perspective on BG's all together. I felt like a BG didn't matter so much, and that the people around me were there just as a decoration vs. playing a supportive role / team player. It was about me, nothing or anyone else.

After the ban wave I'll admit I ran out and grabbed another WoD and insta-leveled a pally to 90. I didn't touch the bot for at least a month. I was so scared to. So, since I'm literally addicted to WoW and botting I wanted to run a simulation / test on getting banned. So far no issues or hiccups. I'm about to start my second toon, only this time around using questing and randomizer. I'll keep that updated in my journal thread found here:

So this fresh 90 had full BOAs from my main account. He could easily wreck shop in PVP, but again I was too cautious to use HB again. I broke the seal slowly at first getting back into botting, but after a few days I decided to bot a BG. If you've EVER botted a BG you'll notice right away, without hesitation, who EXACTLY is a bot. It's not rocket surgery. I immediately stopped the bot and took over using Enyo and TuanHA Paladin CR. What a difference.

First, let me point out that statistically BG bot uses the exact same XYZ coords for every user, possible to have some slight randomization but I'd wager that 70%+ don't even try to make it hard to catch. So, every time you go to that one spot in AV (as Horde) and jump off, you're leaving the ground and landing on the ground at the same location for your character nearly every single time. Statistics and big data doesn't lie. No matter what, the statistics will always give you a result that is non bias. From what I can gather, and from the DEVs feedback there isn't any one variable that just stands out. So, in conclusion of this really long paragraph I'll have to attribute the ban wave to:

1. Statistical data collection (way easy to do)
2. Player reports (super easy to report)
3. Pattern recognition based upon statistical data

So, in a BG you see everyone training together running in a pack and you instantly know they're all bots which envokes #1, #2, and #3 all at once.

BG botting is dangerous. It WILL get you banned eventually just because the core logic has you going the same way, doing the same thing, multiple times.

I implore you Bossland to take this into consideration. Even if my SWAG (scientific wild ass guess) is off by a margin of error ~25%, that's still too much pattern error.

Please, disable BG bot automation and ONLY allow CR's to be used in battlegrounds. Arenas are holy, and as you know with holy things we don't touch them. Thanks for fixing that.

some ppl bought this bot only for arena nothing els .. and spend a lot of money on pvp arena profiles and now u guys close it... I hope and I hope u guys make it open its a bot...... u alrdy cheating anyway ..?|!!! since u lvl or farming or pvping .. why u close it that just make no sence ! like rly ... there is a sites selling rating and titls so all the ppl r cheating ! and some of ppl well quit this game cuz u close the arena !


atlest make a refund for the ppl they payed a lot for the profiles and the bot .... cuz u guys allowed it ... then u close it ....... this bot should work on everything .. not closing 1 side .. arena ! and everything els its working ! well its not fair for pvp players !

why would we do that since we are moving for arena to another platform also cc creators and also tuanha so we get the same routine on the another platform so you can say what you want to arena users we wil get our routines working soon again but for another platform you can go on and do you pve things we wil stil be playing arena with another platform and you can say ignore them stupid post but we wil be playing arena again just not with hb

+++ HB Team needs to rehaul their bot, some time or another. They were detected, and they simply updated the TRIPWIRE??$@!$#!@# (a method which works after the fact, not really as a prevention............)
They need to extensively test/rewrite their bot. However they haven't at this moment in time, yes people will argue that they havent been banned yet, but that is a short sighted arguement. (Quite obvious from the last ban wave, where they banned shitloads of accounts all at once)

I do since they dont need a bot to do pvp for them, they would know more about the classes in the game then a botter. Since all you do is bot anyway.

But yea removing Arena did not half the risk of blizzard smashing down on bots, all it did was lower the complaints about botters in pvp. Ive been doing some bgs and seeing a lot more bots again but thats fine since most pvpers arnt playing atm end of season and all. When they do come back though get rdy for more complaints on the forums about pvp botters. Main reason they removed Arena was due to complaints from players, they should of removed pvp ages ago but a banwave was what made them decide to take it away.

As for that other remark " people here dont have a clue how to google for another bot" Where did you learn to read minds? Go check out other forums and bots their activity has risen by a crapton ever since hb got a banwave and that was due to hb all over media and blizzards big ban announcement. HB got some nice exposure to all the people who never knew about it but people got scared of using hb so they move to another bot and they did not want to wait 2 weeks and now we have more dumb botters, press start and afk 100% they walk into walls for 2 days straight.

But as critzu says we have no clue how hb got detected and with ONLY a 6 month banwave (which makes no sense at all) and pissed off a lot of real players, blizzard are up to something and something big. I will be waiting and seeing what happens in 6 months.

P.S my dummy accounts all 5 are still dungeonbuddy strong paid $30 for all 5 while my "temp" new account is bot free. Blizzard is Watching muahahaha

P.S.S.P: pvp combat routines are moving to a new platform but what happens after you pay $50 and blizzard shuts down that platform because they cant afford the legal fee's that bossland can. You are screwed again. lol But as I say monkeys first, Test away boys test away.

I do not find that a paid CR in Arena makes it any less safe than doing anything else, infact i think the likes or paid routines that you are required to use Enyo or Lazyraider, alot safer than, auto questing, auto proffs, grinds, etc because there is a high level of user input (movement ofc, is quite demanding in Arena and Raids for the most part), Sure BGs made it super unsafe, all the automation made everyone look the same, I find that if you're gunna bot BGS or then there should be at least 10 different paths that are loaded at random, to make sure that 20 bots are not running the same lines

You got a point Donk, but over the years botters have become more main stream inside Wow. I mean most people who did use CR's in Arena would just press start and click pvp mode, So that you get the instant cc, instant damage stuff that is very easy to spot to be a bot. But yes a small % of botters are just casual players who know their classes and are bored of trying hard in pvp. Nothing beats PVP in WOTLK, PVP now is thrown out there, wait thats the whole of WOD.

I mean I even got sick of bots vs bots in Arena, when you used a CR but heavily modified it vsing the guy who just press play I did my cc manually I did my interrupts manually because if you had that all auto it was bullshit. But we all know if you did have all auto dont expect to get above 1800. The worse part of PVP is Bots in Battlegrounds and has been for years you do teams vs teams of just AFK bots. For real players pvp turned to crap when bots came into it and im sure it will never stop but its keeping a limit on them atm.

Blizzard is doing something big by the end of the year, none of us have any clue what it is and we never will but one thing I do know is giving 100k+ players a 2nd chance at keeping their accounts means "never do it again otherwise our new secret tool will smash your face" lays drama music:
