The honorbuddy api has stuff thats arena only, like the class ArenaTypes and some other. So saying they never supported arena is wrong, if they didn't, they wouldn't have taken the time to add these things to the api. Retarded BL..

I cannot believe this thread is still going... Let me put some info in here so I can stomp on some of these trolls and enlighten some folks here

1. Bossland's statement was pretty much along the lines of "WOW! We made Blizzard pretty angry! Well we don't know how we made them so mad they banned us but we are going to disable arena and hope that it makes them less mad at us!" Believe it, don't believe it. Do whatever you like. A bot is a bot. And the retail legit players will bitch about anything and everything. So you can imagine the heat will be coming down on BGs here soon. Then it'll be coming down on Dungeonbuddy. Then it will finally hit people in Raids who are bragging about their rankings etc, etc. Just take the statement for what it is

2. If Bossland doesn't want to support Arena there are other platforms that will. Don't listen to these dumbass trolls on the thread who want to confuse you by saying that there isn't anything better or that there never will be. You'd be a fool to think that Blizzard hasn't already wiped out other bots like PQR and thus set the stage for Honorbuddy. The botting motto.... I live, I die, I live again. BLAH BLAH. PVP players will have things set up elsewhere. When there is something to be exploited it will be exploited. Just need to have something called PATIENCE.

3. Cheating is cheating...there is no way to justify it because you are being judged by the sheeple that Blizzard has farmed and groomed. It doesn't matter if you profit 1 gold or if you land Gladiator. You are scum to them because well....they have no life and value their virtual goods entirely too much lol. You should be using third party software in order to make whatever you enjoy more suitable for you. If you ever believe truly that you are not cheating and using this software. You, my friend, are insane! So go get some real help.

4. Be prepared to die... Everyone dies....Everyone will get caught eventually on a long enough timeline. There is no immunity. You are playing the game of chance and can have it turn upside down on you at any moment. Don't take it out on fellow botters or anyone else for that matter when the actions you did cause the consequences. Life isn't fair. You have the option to pick up and move on or to invest and try again at your own risk. Like everyone else.

5. Finally, there is only speculation on how all this plays out. How blizzard and Bossland decide to dance to the beat around these million dollar issues. Neither one of them will ever have to justify themselves to us. We bought their products to use the way we felt worthy. I am sure that there has been some worthy refunds that have been handed out to the people who truly didn't get what they deserved(IE people buying keys or licenses the day of or prior to the ban). Buying a third party program is taking the same risk that you know what it will get you into. There is other places that you can go out and I am sure you can market your loss to and people will be glad to take things off your hands.

want to. And as often as they want to. Ofcourse blizzard knows we start over and banning people again wouldnt make a difference, so wait
a few weeks, months, god knows how long and do it again. Circle is round again and money made. working as intended. As someone stated
allready, developers will move with it, allready looking around. In the end bg will removed im sure, maybe then pve and all this will do in the
end is farm and afk shizzle. Thats where this is going to.This bot got big because of all those developers putting hard work in it, and then
besides the core crew, i mean the cr ones. You know what i mean. Singular works, and all is said with that. You need a competitive cr, even in
pve or you wont be topping those meters by far. All those cr's / plugins and whatnot made, thats what made this bot big. Not the core. When that
moves on, this bot dies!

Does bossland know how we got detected, we will never know. i sure hope he does, or even, tinfoil hat, made a deal! Since if he doesnt know
what happened, its just clear blizzard can detect us whenever they want to and we are " allowed" to some degree. Why fight em if you can
make money off em? They ban us when complains move up, we start over. Legit players happy, we start over. All of a sudden 50 % off on
battlechests and we go again. Its a viscious circle. How many people you think would still play if there was NO bot available at all? Bots belong
to a game. And for all those lawsuits and " virtual millions" spend on lawyers. You clearly have no clue on how a business or big mmo works.
Money spend on that is nothing compared to gain cause people see they fight it. What mmo would this be if it publicly allowed us. It would be dead. Long
ago. But they need us as well. You seen the servers now, empty. no herbs, no mats, no whatever. insane prices. Its retarded to say the last.

So, now you can call me a butthurt arena player again but i showed you allready i dont play arena, since 2013 less then 100 matches. But

to maximise his dps so he keeps his raid spot. You ( pve ) in general dont need to do anythign but watch a timer and move, while sippin that beer.

There are tons of things datamined from WoW that were never intended to be added to the game. Perhaps those elements were present for future consideration of official support? Irrelevant code proves nothing. The product was never marketed as an Arena bot.

So lets say a drug dealer doesn't support selling drugs and wont do anything himself.. Yet his house has a little trap door he made for his cats (or whatever). But his room mate deals drugs out of and he sees this every day. On top of that he takes a cut of the profit on top of the rent money.... I bet his ass would still go to jail cause he supported that shit and allowed it. Just like allowing illegal shit to be posted on a forum. If you don't remove it. You can only play ignorant for so long before the law will come down on you and say you support that shit.


No one cares about Arena being removed the CR Authors will just come and go. People feel ripped off when someone says they didn't mean to support it from the beginning. Yet only a moron would agree with that. It's a damn lie and people aren't ignorant.


Don't remember Bossland posting anything about Arena being not supported since I've been here since 2011. I've seen moderators tell people they won't support a Botbase for automated play like BGBuddy but for Arenas. I've also seen them say they won't help people troubleshoot getting a Botbase in Arena working.

But again they coded it to work and call Arena only commands and they made money of it. I don't care if they want to hide and say they were just the middleman they sure as hell supported it.

They have let BGBuddy rot the Botting world. I hasn't been updated in years it seems. This same blind eye is the true cause for the ban wave. Laziness to make the Bot more human in every Botbase and CR.

The HB team simply is unwilling to make things such as Botting Arena more human like. They don't enforce rules to limit what is needed and correct the obvious botting practices such as BGBuddy. If it's broken as BGBuddy it should of been disabled or fixed. 99% of the botting complaints are because of that. The other few are because of instant interrupts. All of this is fixable...


Disabling full AFK in BGs, instant interrupts, and movement in PVP. Would be a better reaction to stay low key then just blaming botting in Arena.

sorry, but you're wrong i know several people from several guilds who got suspended in the wave and whose guilds are all annoyed they lost raiders, but waiting for them to come back
also been offered to have another guild members alt transferred onto new accounts to use
also been offered promotions when they get unsuspended
and i'm talking about mythic guilds 5 - 10 mythic not like 1 or 2 mythic.

ah well if PVP was the same as PVE Bossland should of removed Dungeon Buddy, Combat Routines, Questing profiles and more. This is all about a cheating software. To keep everyone's account safe he would shutdown the bot wave his hand at you while walking out the door.
There is no Blizz is cool with botter type A vs botter type B. If you read the bans right now Kicks lvling seems to be the big ban right now. that has nothing with PVP.
Bossland turned of PVP okay so he can sell it as a PVE bot, cool but keep in mind it isn't that he thinks your safe doing this it is so he can still sell his product.
Do you guys really think that one type of botting is not going to make someone mad? When I played by hand and was a botting hater, yea my 2 hours of mining didn't make as much due to bots and I would piss and moan, but I was fine with bots in PVP cause I ran with at lest 4 or 5 friends and we could kick a bot teams ass any day.
Get of your high horse understand that just cause they got rid of areana don't mean that your right and the person mad about not having it is wrong.

It's still funny to me that any of you think you will sway Bossland to add arena's back in....You won't, the decisions been made and there's absolutely nothing you can do to change their mind.

Arguing that different aspects of the bot is just as bad is just silly. What do you want bossland to do now? Just remove every aspect of the bot? Turn the bot off completely? How does that help anyone?

The buddy team has a very clear policy on refunds from the buddy store, too...If you weren't aware of the policy, that's your own fault. You should've known going in that you had 1 week to get a refund, no matter what happens after that week, you aren't eligible for a refund. And if the 20 bucks you spent on the CR or profile or whatever is too much for you, maybe you shouldn't have bought it in the first place. You can still use said profiles in BG's anyways, it's not like you've lost the ability to use a CR at all.

And it's impossible for me to even comprehend how you guys think arena's were the most widely used pvp function of the bot. They were probably the smallest usage overall. Normal BG's were by far the most popular use.

Ive been playing arena "manually" the past few weeks and its awesome without bots. Coming from a botter its awesome. I havent turned on HB since the banwave as its got major problems atm and with the increase of risk % is quite large. dont want to take my chances of throwing away $50. WoW and botting they go in hand, botting is like the new main stream for casual Wow players, let the bot do the boring shit while you jump on later for the fun stuff.

If you are a casual botter you can get from 1-90 in 8 hours and than 90-100 in under 8 also than it took me 3 days to get full pvp set again and back up to 2400+ in 3s. Wow is just a easy ass game now, most casual people bot due to boring repeative tasks. And people bot in Arena for E-PP to get the feeling of we just kicked the ass out of that guy "YAY" Thank You Bots. yea cheating is cheating and another bot will take hb for arena, but personally I dont need a bot for arena I have skill. ROFL

You're wrong. Program code always has pieces of code that are either remnants of functionality that was scrapped before release or possible future features that may or may not be implemented.

You are grasping at straws because something you want was taken away. The reality is, you should have never had it in the first place. A mature adult would be happy for the time he had it, take some time to mourn its passing, and move on. But therein lies the problem...

Do you really, for one second, think that gaming community takes nearly as much offense to botting in non-rated random battlegrounds or rated, competitive Arena? You don't, because no sane person would, but you'll say you do to support your point.

Reduction: The Arena support glitch has been fixed. The people who took advantage of it are mad. They feel entitled (because everyone does, these days) and they will do whatever they can to hurt as many other people as possible, because they are the 'victim'. e.g. demand refunds, verbally abuse developers, troll forums, campaign to have BGBuddy (a feature present since launch) removed.

We could really cut down the warfare if bossland had the foresight to realise the backlash before making the announcement.

Its enough of a policy shift that people who bought the bot, and store items, should be able to get a no questions asked refund. But, given the audience, it's just going to be bitter and disputed.

It's terrible timing. But the manner in which it was announced, made it worse, ie during a blackout of services and without any alternative or remedy.

I'd say that any normal person would have realised and changed their methods after seeing the anger, but it doesn't see as if bossland pays any attention to the forums or admins or devs that keep the business going. So, YMMV. I don't see HB changing or improving in the next year or more given the attitude to this and other feedback. IMHO.

For 4 years, there has been no fix for arena. The introduced fix for arena is LITERALLY 5 minutes of work, but for 4 years they have not paid attention to it

For those 4 years, we've had many plugins, CCs and other crap for arena, they still didnt care to spend 5 minutes stopping people from using HB in arenas.

Then we got buddystore, guess what, arena CCs making tonnes of money, everythings great, lets still not "fix" what was "never supported".

4 years later, many $$$$ gathered by bossland from gladiator suite etc on buddystore, we get a banwave. FINALLY, FINALLY in the chaos of not knowing wtf happened to detect HB, we better spend 5 minutes disabling arena cuz we gotta do something. You are all eating the obvious excuses and lies portrayed by Bossland gmbh, even tho it is so stupidly obvious that they didnt care, because it was a benefit for them, until it no longer was.
