Just follow the dev's forums and you can see what they are working on, we will be back to arenas next season. :) cheers

You know its nice to hear a little positive rhetoric instead of the same 4 people spamming the same point over and over again in this topic.

Including the dreadful comparisons that have been voiced. Bad form, bad manners and a lack of respect for the topic at hand. Post counting at best

It was never about Blizzard complaining. Again, Arenas where a no go area since Honorbuddy was released. You can search the forum about Arena questions if you do not believe me.

Just because something ran, it did not made it intended by us. We now have taken the needed steps to actually make it very clear once and forever.

Bossland you say we aren't supporting Arena.. Ok ok, fine you didn't but you don't need to support it that is where enyo so what do you need to support. I don't get it.. I'm taking a guess that blizzard said something to you cause there is no reason to take it away in core cause its not harming anything.. Like if people were to bot in arena right now with HB you would be less banned then people reporting they getting banned from leveling/questing soo You must of been talking to blizzard or something to stop it. I see 0 risk and harm from people botting in arena then botting in BG or any of the other botbases/profiles. Again I will say this I rather use enyo in a BG then using the auto afk bots. I don't even see the point of making a botbase to do BG's if you are just grinding gear to ummmmmm Do Arena.

Have you read anything the devs and BL posted about this? It's a dead issue. Arena is not supported, never was. Why keep dragging this shit out? Do you think by pestering the ever-living shit out of the devs and BL that they will change their minds?

I imagine that once HB comes down on BGS the pvp community will rise in a QQ rebellion-bgs are as much to blame for the xtra blizz scrutiny

This seems fair enough, however what about purchases such as Millz BGfarmer etc? I'm guessing that those of us that bought things like that are going to S.O.L as far as the money we spent?

As previously stated, HB still works in BGs, just not arena.

PVP = Arena

Bg and RBG = Same as PVE
This is totally bogus. PvP is ANY environment in which player-on-player is the main mechanic.

Do not spread wrong information. This is called 'trolling'.

I have no reason to believe they're ever going to ban Battleground support. Don't hold your breath.

Also, I find that people that believe that the only PVP is Arena are the people I can never stand. I think it's a sociopath thing. I'd pay to punch them in their genitals.

My opinion which everyone is entitled to their own.

Disable all use in Arena (All functions including CR's)
Disable all use in RBGS (All functions including CR's)

I'm gonna be quite frank here. If any of you think blizzard did a mass ban wave specifically because of pvp CR's you are delusional. Blizzard did a massive ban wave because honorbuddy had a direct negative impact on their pockets. They are pushing wow tokens as the only form of currency players should seek out as a way to get additional gold in game. Honorbuddy will not be safe because of gold farmers NOT pvpers. This program will remain unsafe as long as you can farm gold. You want to make honorbuddy safer? Remove automation all together. Make the bot only function with CRs. Remove the idioctic restriction on pvp.

And you seem to have also missed all of the discussions the past few days as it has been stated over and over that the ban was not specifically from Arenas, BG's, combat routines, or anything else. It has been stated that the reputation of Honorbuddy has gained so much praise that no matter what bot was being used and wherever, Honorbuddy was to be blamed and THAT is why Blizzard targeted them. Of course, the Blizzard PvP forums complain about the unnatural abilities of so many that those people had to be using a bot (and according to everyone in the WoW community means Honorbuddy). In order to help eliminate some of that footprint and stereotyping, Bossland eliminated the portion which they have stated they did not support. It has also been stated numerous times that that particular decision DID NOT come lightly and is not negotiable. So, however you want to claim the decision to be, you are just going to have to accept it.

Since the bots were being abused in all facets of PvP, and this is what more than likely led to the megaban, I would say disabling the bot in Arenas, BGs, RBGs, duels, and even world PvP would be the most prudent action. I know it's probably as easy as determining which zone the person is in or if the target is another player to disable the bot entirely. CRs in any of these areas is still botting PvP, which is just weak and leads to outrage from other players and getting more megabans because you get noticed and reported in these activities more than anywhere else making everyone else who's using it for other purposes pay for your false pride. I would suggest reading guides if you can't play like a top end PvPer, because some of those CRs were wound up tighter than a nun's coochie making them absolutely unfair advantages over people trying to legitimately play the game. Bossland's position on this was always welcomed by me and hopefully they continue to ***** down on it within their own site as well.

from US... guess we have more snitches and crybabies here lol

Linking to battlenet directly from here is kinda dangerous. They can see traffic coming from here and if you're logged in to your battle-net account it would take 1 line of code to flag your account :)

if $_SERVER
['HTTP_REFERER'] contains %thebuddyforum% then $_SESSION["account_flag"] = true.

Account gets banned, buy another one. Problem solved.
