[Official] Statement about Arenas and Battlegrounds

More pve players on pvp realms! Yay. Now Blizz needs to get us outta out Garrisons and back to Stranglethorn Vale!
Perhaps Blizz could retain some of the players that are leaving by making Conquest farming available for Wpvp events maybe. Or perhaps a series of Pvp quest lines starting from lvl 20. That would put less pressure in arena's perhaps and still satisfy fat geeks like me.

Please keep in mind that our combat system works a lot different on a lower level than hb and even 10fps would be enough with *our* system.
But to please the masses, I did some fact checking and found that if needed we could pulse the CR with as much as 150-200fps.

Don't you mean Hello Competition? I've yet to see any bot come close to Honorbuddy, I don't know why ***** doesn't use Xml for their profiles, I think they use their own extension.

Only the fools (most likely the ones that cried directly on the eu/us forums claiming they didn't bot) are chasing to ***** thinking that it's more secure because of the overdue banwave that Honorbuddy got (1 per 5 years at the moment), good luck with that false sense of security that somehow another bot can't be banned just like Honorbuddy was.

What I find interesting is arena's were never supported since 2010, but mesh files have always been there. Now the Buddy Store opens up and each developers cr's have to be reviewed and approved to be sold on the store.

HB knew some of these CR's from the start were 100% Arena/PVP routines. Now after so many have spent $100+ on arena/pvp routines, we are no longer going to be using them? If that is the case then why did you allow developers to sell them if we can't use them for the purpose that they were approved and sold for?

Honestly, it is all a moot point as they said that was the final decision. Just get with the developer of the routine and you can work out something.

And being around a lot of the MACVSOG members growing up as my dad was in it, I wonder what you really know about it seeing as that is the name you picked.

are you seriously? arena isnt what got us targeted that is bullshit arena is out of the bot and people stil get banned for questing its Bgbuddy that got attention and that is stil on i only love arena if i cant do that i find it useless. just that arena is out of the bot doesend mean we wont get banned blizzard wil always ban you for any kind of automation moving manually with a routine in arena is the most safest thing or rbg with interupt hack on a delay i never got banned for that

Also, arena/bg botting wasn't the cause of the detection. Detection happened because the bot got detected obviously, had nothing to do with arena or bg. It was easy to get reported botting battlegrounds, yes, but thats pretty much it.

Despite all the comments regarding the paid CR's that are going to waste and all the concerns regarding the validity of bossland's decision to shut down arena botting,
I feel like bossland stopped caring about my business, and is forcefully sending me somewhere else, they dont care if i use a less-safe bot, they dont care if i get banned, they just dont want me to use their product in arena. I think this decision is wrong, and quite a bad business move.

On a strict business perspective you would want people to keep using your product, to keep spending 100's of dollars on custom CR's and profiles and bots, the system was already in place, removing it is simply harming their cash flow. im honestly baffled at why they would make this decision.


The only explanation i could come up with, silly as it is, is that there may have been some sort of deal made with blizzard to remove bots in the competitive environment of wow, in order for blizzard to be able to re-balance the game and keep real players happy.

The only entity that gains anything anywhere in this is blizzard and the real players QQing all day in the forums.

I've been a loyal customer for years, but i honestly don't see what other conclusion to draw from this situation, feel free to enlighten me.

That's a stupid move! This is not a player community and I don't give a shit about players. I just need a good bot product. This move ain't do anything for you, but make you loose your loyal customers!

Wrong. If BL and HB keeps pissing of Blizzard and its non-botting players, I can guarantee that will be worse for business than disabling arena. It's been discussed and dealt with. It doesn't matter what we say about it, the decision has been made. That leaves two choices...

1) Continue supporting HB, use actual skill in arenas, and be happy BL didn't just shut HB down. He could have....

and...

2) take your bitching, your unearned PvP ranking, and your incessant whining to a different bot. It's that simple. The decision is yours...
