WoWglider didnt have ape shit bots in bgs farming honor but still got blasted with a ban hammer use your head.

That's funny Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:Honorbuddy and Arenas - The Buddy Wiki why don't you check out the Wiki where there is a specific answer to Arena use with honorbuddy which was first fielded in 2014? Plus none of the CRs were advertised as being specifically made for arenas, just PvP, and have Arena functionality as an update. FYI Honorbuddy =/= CR Developers, CR Devs may support it but honorbuddy definitely never did. I do agree that Honorbuddy should have been more strict on the uses of CRs but that doesn't change the fact that Arena was never an intended use for Honorbuddy.

Granted your not an older user of HB I'll just say you misinformed and clearly not someone who has used arena CR's since 2012. Community Developer titles must of been randomly thrown around for Glad Suite being one of the more popular ones but I was using Sir Lars rogue CR seasons ago. Mindless troll I am not. Active botter for years I am. I cringe seeing goobers run their mouth trying to point a finger on how they may have been banned but if you never ran arena CR then clearly you were banned for something else cough the bot itself. Trying to single handed point fingers at bg botter or arena botters(as far fetched as ever) is hilarious. Almost as hilarious as an official honorbuddy store supporting arena CR's saying that they don't support Arena CRs.

First off i know most of you watched that videos of a entire bg full of bots yes? Then you know why bossland has decided against it. Cheating or not bg bot and botters in arena's were the downfall tot he botting world due to so many using it. Please stop these stupid ranks and go use the bot no one knows how long it will be up and when they next ban wave will come all we know is it is up and available to use. On my main account, i only used hb for arena and leveling and i never got a ban. I just got a ban 1 year ago for farming gold On my secondary account.
So the real problem is the gold farming and the battleground. If developpers need to disable anything, that must be the 100% automated functions.

There should be a defined difference between afk botting bgs or using enyo and a cr to do bgs. The videos on youtube are of people afk botting bgs and there have been soo many posts on here where people have asked the devs to update the bgbot or disable it. Also on another note from my personal experience a lot of the people getting accused of botting arenas get accused because of interrupting, a lot of the good cr's don't interrupt everything, will let stuff through and interrupt randomly compared to dedicated interrupt bots that just interrupt everything.

you have clearly never seen the best PVPers in wow. They out play the CR's any time! its all the 1xxx-22xx rated people that cant handle / out play the CR. I agree that most players are in that rating and will complain about cheats/bots/hacks. I just find it weird that Bossland is closing down the Arena part of the bot (that never have been supported). Its not like botting in BG is worse than farming gold or afking raids. Cheating is cheating. There is no such thing as cheating more than the other guy/girl. Is Wallhack more cheat than aim bot? are these two combined worse than hacking your rating higher in eg CS:GO?

I agree 100% with you. This is just flat out ridiculous. I'm a veteran of the Iraq war and I had inconveniently lost my left arm in that shit hole. With HonorBuddy and the amazing CR's out there, I am actually able to compete in arena effectively and at the LEAST have some what of a chance to do decent. (Even though it handles most of my rotation.) This really does bum me out. I think cheating is cheating regardless, I don't think it's fair to pick and choose which one is morally correct and which one isn't. This whole game and every aspect of it is competitive IMHO. And a cheater is a cheater. Come on now guys!

As a long time user of multiple buddy bots, I have to say I am dissapointed with your companies' viewpoints on this topic. Constantly in these forums users are berated for using the bot in the way they like. Some of them use it to do their rotations, people make fun of them for that. Some people just use it to grind money or whatever. Regardless in the end, other users never had the right to determine how the bot should be used. The same goes for the developers. Don't disable certain areas of it just because *you* believe they're the only competitive part of WoW anymore. This shouldn't be about what you believe. Some people could argue that raid bot routines ruin the competitive aspect of raiding to some extent.

Your decision on this matter (or rather the decision to enforce your apparent view point from before) definitely leaves me feeling uneasy. You (the developers) shouldn't be taking an active part in determining how people use the software. This decision makes me question whether or not I can purchase future products from you. I don't want to purchase a bot with the intent to use it for one thing, only to learn that you guys have decided that you don't want that part of the game effected.

As a loyal user of the buddy bots, I am dissapointed to have to say it; but I'll hate to have to look into another company who won't force their view points and feelings onto me. I'm asking you to reconsider this stance.

Bossland really needs to read what he said. I honestly do think this is very unfair. I only use HB for pvp purposes, and when you click on that buddystore those pvp routines are thrown in your face. You guys know damn well that Tuanha and Gladiator Suite were strictly made, 100% for arena pvp and yet YOU(the developer) allowed their products to be sold through your store. And now you take it away because YOU think it's unfair? Well, I'm sorry to say but you're in the wrong line of work. Any type of botting is CHEATING! Just a heads up. I think you guys should honestly reconsider. Just leave it the way it was.

Not that this post will change anything about anything but i've been a member of this community for over 5 years, i purchased the bot initially to farm honor, i didnt use it for 3 years, then i returned when i saw the oportunity for a bad player like me to perform competitively in an arena environment, i've achieved 2700 in 3s with a crew of non-botting players on my warrior last season using tuanha's CR, randomized interupt percentages and random spell reflect, i have avoided the ban wave, and believe me, i cannot play wow without the bot, so i think if the arenas were a danger to us i would have been banned too, i buy gold, i bot in arenas, i afk in bgs for days on new season releases.
Not to mention i bought gladiator suite package, millz CRs, Tuanha full package, ive been supporting pvp cr development for years and it has been a great hobby to help and test and see how far i can push it all. With HB shutting this feature down i will simply be either moving on to a different bot or just quitting everything altogether.

Regardless of what i think i have had my fun with the feature, i have had my fill of arena play, and i've had my glory in the arena, and i apreciate all the effort everyone put forth into making this possible.

TL;DR : Thanks to all the developpers who made it possible for me to get 2700 in 3s, arena master, and much more, i don't agree with the decision however there's nothing i can do about it. Thanks, it was fun while it lasted.

I'm sorry about your arm and I truly appreciate the sacrifice you've made for our freedoms. That being said, they aren't "singling out" Arena players. They never supported Arena. They allowed developers to create combat routines that took advantage of a loophole to allow arena play and looked the other way, for YEARS. Recently, in the best interest of the bot, his business, and the majority of the botting community, they've chosen to no longer allow the loophole to remain open.

It is a bummer, and I'm sorry this impacts you in this way. But the competitive Arena community is VICIOUS. We can't continue to have some of the most influential players in the game continue to rattle Blizzard's chain over our bot, or we're not going to have it, anymore.

And to all of you "if I can't have my way, I want the WHOLE THING shut down" people, it isn't happening. So, get over it. Go wallow in butt hurt self pity somewhere else.

Afking makes it so much easier for people who have full time jobs lol. And I'm pretty sure afking is the biggest flaw to the botting community because it's so damn obvious. But if I actually had to be there all the time without afking, I wouldn't accomplish shit lmao. I would probably have just 1 toon and 0 rep for anything haha. I have no time for that and I'm sure a lot of us can agree. But disabling afking would diminish a lot of the focus on botting. It's our biggest give away.
