Siege Camp Chest Runner V2.1 - Fast Legs & No Gear Required

Have never seen it fail on rares/gems and haven't seen a legendary drop in the "bad" spot on that chest yet. Looking over my log and in the last 16 hours it has not missed a single legendary or gem, never reset the log when I changed it to pickup rares so can't use that metric :(.

I do remember updating the HandleTarget file. I've since re-updated it and I'll be watching carefully today while I'm at work. Should get in a 8-9 hour run. Hopefully I wont miss anything but if I do i'll post it and hopefully be able to see where it happened as well.

There's a bug in Trinity counting free slots when you use protected slots.

as far as i know i have no protected slots!
i will double check when i get home in an hour or 2

Called my room mate and got him to check for me!
potion was protected like normal, got him to unprotect it - hopefully this will sort my random townruns

Quick question. You a Barbarian using that skill that makes you huge by chance?

Edit - I have a funny feeling we are going to have to call a debuff to that skill around the second chest. Don't think you can physically fit behind it! Can someone try out?

I get this error and then shortly after my Diablo game gives me an error that says,

"You have logged into the game too soon after being disconnected. Please try again later. (Error 42002)

Is it a problem with the game timer? Or with DB, using a Crusader with Steed OOC turned off.

Increase the game timer settings in DB. If you don't have a good connection to Blizzard's servers you may end up recreating games too soon.

Correct, my big breasted barb does not fit behind the chest while WOTB is active


edit - i dont use WOTB ooc, so ive never had an issue with getting stuck, but if ican increase my gph by using it, and not losing legs, i'll switch to it

That's weird, my connection is insanely fast @_@. It's set to 1-4 atm, I'll try 3-6.

why 2 ?
lets see I think server stability is listed as a nerf and it was due.
hell they nerfed everything else.
 
Captain, My female barb doesnt fit, but my male barb DOES fit while enraged/WOTB is up, it is a tight squeeze regardless, but thought id point this out

sorry, but i dont get your first question - what do u mean? (it was set to pickup all legendaries, if you mean this - no exceptions)
i cant provide the runlog anymore as db crashed and the runstats.log is already overwritten by the new one

Just to get such a low number in LPH there is a good chance the bot was getting stuck while trying to salvage rares/blues, I know mine was (nothing with the profile but we are looking into a work around for Trinity). Guess the better question would be what kind of GPH did you see. If that number was low that is an indication that something else might have gone wrong.

Welcome back CaptainAmerica. Your return and excellent profile has finally prompted me to register to contribute some tips for anyone doing runs with a barb!

  • Make sure you have 25% movement speed from paragon+items
  • Select "Sprint" with the "Marathon" rune
  • Select "War Cry" with the "Charge!" run
  • Select "Unforgiving" as one of your passives (for Fury)
  • Select "Wrath of the Beserker" as one of your skills, any rune
  • In Trinity Settings, on the Barbarian Combat tab, select "Use When not on Cooldown" for WOTB. This makes Trinity activate WOTB for extra run speed straight after taking the waypoint.

With the above settings I get 55 to 60 GPH while picking up legendaries, rares and gems (I have a crafting material addiction). This is in a single core VM on a mechanical HDD (so unoptimised for load speed).

Optional:

  • Select the "Leap" skill (I find the recovery animation after landing actually slows me down... YMMV)
  • Select the "Furious Charge" skill
  • Stack legacy pick-up radius items; a few +7 yard pieces makes for easy passive gold collection!

With WOTB on it fits behind just fine (walk around to the right of the chest, but also fits to the left).

I don't know if Blizzard was to blame alone for stability issues. My understanding was they were experiencing a DDoS attack. I know since the last maintenance on US servers my bot has been running strong for 16 hours with no trouble, using 3-6 seconds in between logins.

It's funny that you thought of this. I never once would have ever came to that conclusion without first seeing it happen. I'm going to run the 9 hours today and test to see if I miss picking up anything. I will re-test this tomorrow without WoTB on and test as well.

Also i'm going to enable picking up yellows for this as well just in case a leg does not drop from the second chest.

well thats a good hint - as i was frustrated i didnt even look at the GPH and started another profile :(
Maybe it got stuck - yeah - at least i know that i didnt set to pickup/salvage any rares or blues.
will have an eye on it next time.

you asked for character specific skills with good AOE:
As i play witchdoc only, i think there is no AOE spell which can be casted while running. Acid Cloud would be the best (still stopping though)
