For some reason the new version seem to use more mana then 4.0.4.. :/

I have a suggestion, not sure it's any good as i suck at playing shaman, but would i be possible to make the bot use Mana spring totem when resting?
it would help get mana back, no? :o

Well, keep it up!

Thanks for the new release. It works perfectly for v1.9.2.3, however I saw that on the front post that it was tested with the latest questing beta 1.931.

As soon as I tried hit the configure CC button or the start button I got some errors. The log doesn't have the debug option ticked because I could never get into the config form.

Thanks. I'm looking forward to starting this shaman.

Gah I'm an idiot, sorry I posted the log of it working perfectly with 1.9.2.3

Heres the correct log. With the error I get running with 1.9.3.1

Very very very nice CC! Thumps up from me..
Even though there is some stuff i think should be changed..

Feral Spirit - Is used t often, normally i only use it when i am in combat with 3+ mobs.. But that might just be me..
Stormstrike - Is not used as often as i would like it to.. i don't run around with drinks, so i go for the combat mana.. but might be me as well..

Well, keep it up mate! still to test in PVP.. :)
Note that the new option on the PVE tab that allows you to specify how many mobs represents a stressful fight is now available. Just choose Survival combat style and 3 as the number of mobs and your setup. Also, Stormstrike is now spammed so long as you have 2 points in Improved Stormstrike so the mana regen is now available.

Mana consumption is dependent upon your settings. One change requested for 4.0.5 was to cast the version of "Call of the ...." selected for PVE rather than individually casting two totems (as 4.0.4 did) in Fast combat style. If you keep that bar full of totems then 4.0.5 will absolutely consume more. To use less mana just remove some totems from that bar until you reach the balance you prefer, or switch to Survival mode where totems are cast only for stessful fights. Note that 4.0.5 for Enhancement Shaman should generate more mana if they have 2 points in Improved Stormstrike than 4.0.4 did (see prior post.) I could add support for Mana Tide Totem at rest like you describe but that would be such an unusual build for grinding with that many points in the Resto tree that I would consider it a low priority atm. I will look at adding in combat support for Mana Tide with Resto builds for PVP and RaF.

Thanks for the feedback!

Edit: actually to control the totems cast will require one more update. If you omit an Earth totem in your bar, then at some point in the fight where higher priority spells aren't up, it will notice no earth totem has been cast and set a Strength of Earth for you.

Thanks for the quick reply and the assurances for future updates. I do run as C+H as you have recommended before, and I regularly end up near the top of the 'healing done' ranks despite being in Enhance PVP gear. The healing part of the CC is excellent!
Thanks longton-tom. The change to check if the Chain Heal will hop before casting and switching to Healing Wave if it won't should bump the healing numbers a little too. Glad its sufficing for the moment and hopefully I can pull together the time to get the movement updates done shortly.

Thanks bobby for your hard work on this cc, does it happen to support lava burst?

Shamwow is trying to detect certain talents like "Improved Stormstrike", which only works for english clients.

I get the following error with my german gameclient:

[10:56:02:631] >>> ERROR: REPORT TO CC DEVELOPER -- Talent 2, 24 name is 'Verbesserter Sturmschlag' but name 'Improved Stormstrike' was expected

I think he meant Mana Spring which all Shaman get, not Mana Tide which is the resto talent. While this is purely situational, I think it could help to reduce downtime especially if the bot runs out of drinks.

BTW, the new version is working much better for me than previous versions. It actually ran overnight for me without dying excessively and eventually disconnecting for the first time in about a week. It still has some issues in PvP after watching it do AB a couple times this morning, but it looks like you're already working on improvements for the next build. Keep up the good work!

my Elemental shaman still melees 80% of the time, I see it getting stuck at Activity: Healing allot, doesn't heal just keeps meleeing.
She is hevel 72, and got 25k exp/hr from running overnight. avg fps is 30, thats the max I set it too and 160-200 ms.ping.

I am running 2 other bots on same pc, a few levels ahead, both are getting 105-110k exp/hr from grinding overnight.

Please try 1.9.2.3 and see if you receive the errors.

Hey. Tried it on that version and it won't do anything. Just says "No cc found" or whatever the error is. I know thats not an issue with the cc though. Must be something with my install. I cleared everything out, re-downloaded and nothing. Just the same error.

I'll try moving some things around tonight to get it to work. But like I said.. no cc I assume means its a problem with the program itself, not the cc so I don't want you to think im complaining :)

I restarted PC, and shaman seems Lightning bolt more often but still getting stuck at Activity: healing.

Thanks for the post Joker, but I have to disagree on the viability of Mana Spring Totem as a water replacement. At level 40, the standard water available at that level ( Moonberry Juice for example ) regens 1992 mana per 30 seconds, which equates to 332 mp5. Mana Spring Totem (Rank 2) which a Shaman at that level would have restores 21 mp5. On my level 42, it would take about 8 minutes for Mana Stream to regen the same amount of mana the drink does in 30 seconds.

Keeping a botted character stocked in food and water is a fundamental requirement of botting. I recommend one or more of the following:

eRefreshment
detects food/water in your bags and sets HonorBuddy to use the best you have on hand. Frees you from having to update your HonorBuddy settings as you level. It also allows you to utilize whatever random food/water you may loot/buy while grinding meaning you don't have to purchase as much. This one is a no-brainer to use.

eBuy
Plug-in that will buy food, water, and ammo.

Manually Buy
Just remember to load up on enough food / water before starting. Better to have a few less bag slots available than to run out of food/water.

Took your latest release.
There's a constant GCD error spam in the logs (with the accopanied delay every 1.5 seconds).
I had a pull with 5 mobs, and nearly each spellcast has a delay of 1.5 seconds.
Think it really is a better idea to skip the GCD part as long as it doesn't seem to work proper with HB.

Logs attached from the 5 person pull with the GCD errors.
Removing the code will solve it I take it (like I did before?).

Also the re-incarnation (ank reagent if not glyphed) doesn't take into consideration the environment, but I guess that has to do with HB.
It died, and instantly resurrects while all mobs are around (which results in another death).

Regards, Liquid.

Hey. Tried it on that version and it won't do anything. Just says "No cc found" or whatever the error is.
Try deleting everything in the CustomClasses folders and then install a copy of ShamWOW. It's potentially a conflict with the bundled Shaman.cs or another CC.

Oh, I usually do - I was just saying mana spring or healing stream totems might be useful in some situations. Granted, I'm sure that's not high on the priority list for any future coding ... I was just giving a suggestion and clarification of a prior post.

In other news, my Tauren Shaman is now 80 thanks to ShamWOW. It's been working very well the past day or so. I also have a Dranei Shaman which I brought to 80 using HB1 and ShamWOW about a month ago using prior versions. I will continue to use the current version for PvP, so if you need any testing or input just let me know. Thanks, and keep up the good work. This is a great CC!

Thanks Liquid. Removing it isn't a fix, its more of a workaround until the problem is solved in HonorBuddy. I'll change the code so that after the first occurrence of the error it disables the GCD check for the remainder of that botting session. That way the 1.5 sec wait occurs only once at startup. I'll also change the message output to one more modest but still provides visibility.

Reincarnation is currently handled by HB. For now I would not use the Glyph of Renewed Life so you can disable reincarnation for botting simply by not carrying any Ankh reagent in your bags.

Yea, I knew that. I needed to be sure anyone reading through the forum that may not be as familiar with Shamans understood though. Greatly appreciate your posts and thought on improvements as well as those from others.

Congratulations! A new release with a revision to the GCD issue is coming today. A release with PVP movement will be next week.
