projektt, See my response on this page regarding RaidBot quoted below...

.

projektt and nipi, My apologies but your results do not match the results of my testing. Please see the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for steps on posting a question or issue. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

wait what? you want us to attach a log when asking for a feature to be added?
what exactly are you going to look after in the log? *confused*

edit: ok read the reply again and i see what you mean, oh well nevermind then..

How do I disable looting. I'm using this class with Archy Bot, and I don't need unessessary mob kill greys.

using this with bgbuddy, me shaman was running to some vendor (dont know were) from org, thorugh durotar, the i canceled it and went to org to repair manually, all good then.

@sogenius and @Snasse: ShamWOW is a CustomClass also known as a Combat Class. A CC handles behavior that is specific to the class it was built to support (in the case of ShamWOW its Shaman) such as what spells to fight with or which spells to heal with. Things which are done the same way for all classes are handled either by HonorBuddy, the Bot you selected, or a Plug-in. In this case looting (handled by AutoEquip plug-in), running to a vendor (handled by HonorBuddy or Quest profile), etc are handled by other components. It can be confusing and I am very happy to help try to figure out what component is responsible in each case. To do that, I need your help in authoring a post that contains the details described in the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE]. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Nipi, Sorry for the confusion and thank you for the follow up. The answer is always "YES" to your question about do I want a log. Same answer regarding whether I want the local system time that it occurred. A new feature request is simply a change request the same way a bug report is. No matter how good your description, it won't contain all the background information about how you were using your Shaman that the logfile does. To summarize, you can bet that my response 99% of the time to a post that does not contain the information specified in the FAQ will be a polite request for that info. Thanks again for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

bobby. I actually did post a log a couple pages back about the target dummy issue but you never responded to it
projektt, I did respond -- here's a link [CLICK HERE]. You submitted a logfile for a problem occurring while using RaidBot, so I responded providing you a quoted reference to an earlier reply from me to another user stating that ShamWOW does not support RaidBot.

The request for a log file in that same reply was relative to yours and Nipi's question about Chain Lightning. If you have any questions about what is needed please see the FAQ. For that type of problem, I will need both the complete debug log file and an accurate local system time that you saw it casting Chain Lightning when it shouldn't be, so a specific occurrence of the problem. The time should be in the form "Local system time of problem: 9:05:22". Let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks, Bobby53

I think my other question had to do with will this eventually start working for Raid Bot. It lags like crazy every time you kill something in a dungeon or raid (So basically will this ever get incorporated with Raid Bot?)

Im hoping I can get an answer before I start pulling my hair out. My sham using shamwow is RAF'ed up with a warrior who grind and does instances. The problem I am having is that the shammy isnt attacking (hes resto), he heals in dungeons but for grinding he just stands there and gets attacked. I cannot figure out whats going on.

neal121, Thank you for the post, but I would recommend not waiting until you are ready to pull your hair out to ask for assitance. I am more than happy to research any issue impacting your botting experience involving ShamWOW. Please visit the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for details on the information I need to be able to assist you. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Everytime it tries to turn in a quest it gets stuck in like this.. Its annoying, I got over 800mb of logs and they're all full of this. I've had no probelms with other cc with this questing profile I've been using to level up 5 different chars :(
I'm a Goblin female if it matters even some. Sorry its not the way you like it to be posted but I cba to upload 800mbs of logs just for you to see its full of this :P Hope you understand.

thampz, Thanks for the post and my apologies for your issue. The error you cut and pasted is an exception occurring in the Questing bot. I am very happy to look into this further on your behalf and determine why you are encountering this, but there isn't enough information provided for me to proceed. It isn't a question of whether I like the format or not, it simply does not contain enough detail for to do anything with. I don't need you to upload all the files in your Logs folder. I only need one complete log file that is associated with an instance of the problem you are reporting. Also, a complete log file is a necessity since at startup important information about your configuration is written to the log which has an impact on how ShamWOW makes decisions later. The log files consist only of text which compresses extremely well as .zip (average is about a 94% compression rate.) If this occurs frequently as described, another option is to start HonorBuddy and then stop after the error occurs. This will yield a small and manageable log file that should be straight forward to attach. If you have any questions on uploading or attaching a log file, please see the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE].

Thanks for your post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Here is one of the logs..
thampz, Thank you for the complete log file. It appears there is a problem with the .XML configuration/settings used by Quest Bot and/or AutoEquip
Code:
[15:20:34:194] Could not construct instance of AutoEquip! Exception was thrown. Exception:
[15:20:34:195] Data at the root level is invalid. Line 13, position 13.
The exception you pasted earlier that also appears in this log is where Quest Bot is trying to access the Weight Set information which could not be loaded. The weight sets provide weightings for different item stats in a class/spec specific manner so it can make the selection most appropriate for your character.

Since the error message does not indicate specifically which .XML file is corrupt here are a couple things you can do to resolve:

1. Close HonorBuddy

2. Delete file HonorBuddy\Settings\AutoEquipSettings_yourtoonname.xml

3. Delete folder HonorBuddy\Plugins\AutoEquip2

4. Delete folder HonorBuddy\Data\Weight Sets

5. Reinstall HonorBuddy

6. Start HonorBuddy and configure AutoEquip plugin for your character.

This should resolve your problem. If you continue to encounter the problem, you'll want to post an issue in the HonorBuddy Support Issues forum so someone that provides direct support for Questing Bot and AutoEquip2 can respond.

Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Thank you! Working like a charm now! :)
You are welcome! It wasn't an issue with ShamWOW. Since the Weight Sets are class and spec specific, if the only file damaged was HonorBuddy\Data\Weight Sets\Shaman-Elemental.xml it would have been a Shaman specific problem and explain why you did not encounter the issue with other characters. Glad those steps resolved the problem for you. Thanks for the follow up and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Hey bobby53! Thanks for making shamwow so great. I was having issues with it being used by Apocs new Raid Bot (30 fps cc execution) and was wondering if it is possible you may look into the reasons why it is lagging? ShamWOW has always had the best AI of any of the CC's in HB so I hope it can be used with basically a faster version of your own LazyRaider.

im getting this error after todays update Could not compile CC from C:\Users\*****\Desktop\HONORBUDDY\CustomClasses\ShamWOW!

HB1859L68, Thanks for the post. Most likely the issue is due to installing or upgrading HonorBuddy over an existing installation. Whenever you install or upgrade HonorBuddy, you will need to follow this by reinstalling ShamWOW. If after reinstalling ShamWOW it does not correct your issue, please see the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] for steps on attaching a complete debug log file rather than copy and pasting a fragment. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

My apologies, but ShamWOW does not support RaidBot. All raiding support for ShamWOW is via LazyRaider. A new version of LazyRaider offering some fixes and additional options should be available in the coming days. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53
