stianx93, Please visit the HonorBuddy Wiki for information on Bot setup and usage for New Users. The error message you referenced is due to loading a .XML Profile that isn't suitable for a Level 85 character. If you continue to have problems, please visit the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions page for details on posting the information and complete debug log needed for me to research the problem for you. Anyhow, I downloaded the newest version and was running a raid last night and was just putting the other healer in the group to shame! I was putting out more than twice his HPS on every fight. Granted my gear is a bit better than his was but still it was impressive. I think almost every person in the raid wsped me to say "awsome heals man, can I aDd you to friends for other runs?". Quick question, if you set the CC to raid heal (ignore tank) in a raid, will it ignore all toons marked as tank or just the one toon you select as the tank?

Great CC. I have one question though: I play manually, but use the Mr. Autofight plugin to make HB do all the combat for me. I started an enhancement shaman yesterday, and I notice that the CC doesn't face the target if its turned the other way, or run towards the target to attack it. When I used Fpsware Paladin + Mr. Autofight, this worked flawlessly.

Is there a setting in ShamWOW that makes my character move/face target when using Mr. Autofight?

Malice211, It will ignore all raid members marked as Tanks, AND the character you selected as a Tank.

nemis79, Thanks for the post and glad it is working well for you! The purpose of using Mr. AutoFight is to disable movement, so if want movement and facing you would remove the Mr.AutoFight plug-in. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53
 
Hi again,

I think we misunderstand each other a bit. I want to move my character around manually to do quests, but I dont want to do any button mashing combat.

Mr Autofight is setup to take over when the character enters combat, including any movement/turning the CC is programmed to do. This worked on other melee CCs I've used, but when I approach a mob with ShamWOW (Enhancement) the CC doesnt face the target or run after it.

So basically I only want the CC to take over movement during combat, is this possible to do?
 
Didnt know such a thing existed, been a while since I've used HB. Testing it now, works great, thanks!
 
Bobby, I'm having an issue with your latest release of 4508. If this is not the latest release, can you please point me to the newest one? I'm posting a log and filling the form out as well.

HonorBuddy Mode: Combat Bot
Shamans Location: Dalaran (or anywhere else)
What should have happened (be specific): HB should have loaded ShamWoW and SW should have started executing its routines.
What did happen (be specific): HB would not start and kept giving me an error message saying I wasn't in a group.
Computer time of problem (local time, not realm time): Roughly 8:15 pm

My ele shaman, with ilevel 320 gear, gets roughly 7k dps at 85. My resto shaman, with ilevel 320 gear, does about 6k hps at 85. I'm geared in greens and blues from quests and regular cata dungeons. I only have one purple, and that's the set of boots you can buy with justice points.

zeldrak, Sorry you are encountering difficulties. The Bot stopping is due to an installation issue. See the red error message shown in the log window when you run:

Error: global config file not found: 'C:\Users\Chad\Desktop\Honorbuddy_2.0.0.5418\CustomClasses\Config\ShamWOW.config'

This indicates that ShamWOW is not installed correctly. Please visit the ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE] page (or the INSTALL.TXT bundled with .zip you download) and follow those steps. After completing those steps you should no longer encounter the error.

Hi ryanmatt: Thanks for posting, but this thread is for Support of ShamWOW users. Numbers giving only the spec and iLvl aren't very interesting since it doesn't specify the combat environment, which Bot is being used (ShamWOW is a CustomClass), the composition of the group, etc. The best thing to do is try it out and if you have questions concerns please post specific details. If you have a question or issue, be certain to follow the steps shown in ShamWOW Frequently Asked Questions [CLICK HERE]. If you really want to collect dps and heal numbers, please start a thread in the Success Stories sub forum [CLICK HERE]. Thanks and good luck with your Shaman, Bobby53

Thanks Bobby, and I do apologize for the inconvenience. I'll double-check and try again. If it's as simple as that, then I must admit that I'm a bit embarrassed. I'm fairly tech savvy, and something like an installation path should have been simple for me to pick up on and remedy. I'm ashamed, lol. I'll go check it out and reinstall it now, mate

Ok, I tried again, after doing exactly what your post says to do with the installation. It still isn't working and it's still crashing. I'm just going to go back to the version that I know works, which was the 4300 version that comes witht he most recent version of HB. It's been working except for dropping totems as Resto, but that's ok. I babysit my bots anyway, and I can drop totems on my own.

I'm getting a headachee trying to figure this out, and I'm starting to get very irritated. Log is attached. This is after a fresh HB install, redownload of all the profiles I use, and a fresh download, unzip, and install of your most recent ShamWoW CC.

Is it possible to cast the earth shield to the flag carrier in a bg?
i always use lazyrider.
when i cast it on the flag carrier manuelly and he is not anymore in my target, it cast the shield on me.
