ShamWOW for HB2 - An Enhance/Elemental/Resto + PVP/RaF Healbot by Bobby53

Just ran in healing mode in a dungeon, worked fine but sometimes it would pull mobs.
Is there any way to turn that off? :)

Good catch Jon. My error in how it was checking for melee range. Fixed in next release.
 
I appreciate your amazing work, Bobby. One question I had though concerns the HB version compatabilites. I read the part where you stated that it didn't work with version 1.9.2.5. but I couldn't find the download links for any of the versions that are supposed to work. The links were removed from the threads which are now in the archives section.

hi there bobby (or someone else with an answer).

trying to get my char to mount "Great Purple Elekk" box ticked in hb and ghost wolf unchecked but char won't mount at all also tried with item id 29747. confused.

log attached if it helps maybe.

Edit: working now just closed HB and started again no settings had been saved so eneterd them again and it mounts........sry :-)

No, that's not correct. Load a profile that uses a Faction number that doesn't exist in the instance (so it can't possibly target the mobs.) In you are running a Resto spec Shaman, the only time it should dps is if the entire party is in good health ( > 80% ) and then it should only be the tanks target. It should never pull or initiate combat with a mob not already engaged.

If you get different results, please be sure to attach a log with your post. That will improve my chance of giving you the best support possible immediately and getting the behavior you prefer potentially incorporated into the next release of the CC.

No problem and thank you for the follow up edit. It is a known problem in HonorBuddy 1.9.3.6 that in some cases the General Settings ( mesh folder, food, drink, mount name, use mount toggle, etc.) are not saved when you make changes. If you aren't able to work around the problem as you did, just close HonorBuddy, enter the settings directly into Settings.xml located in the HonorBuddy folder, and then restart.

New version is close with lots of improvements and fixes. Still requires some additional testing/fixes which are delayed due to announcement regarding downtime. Should be available within 2 days after HonorBuddy has been updated.
 
will this new one posted on 6/29 cooperate with questing beta 4? (the newest release?)
 
Someone updated this earlier i dont know who but this is boby's profile updated with patch 3.3.5

can anyone give me a hand here. my shamwow is not healing after dropping below 50% health. it just stands there and dies. if i manually heal it will go back to attacking but will just auto attack if it drops below again. also, how do i get the GUI?
 
i have the standing there and dieing problem as well. and deltasniper that CC is the basic one taht doesn't use totems and mounts like a mofo.
 
yeah .. that one and the one that comes with the new HB is fail.. seems to go into ghost wolf every 5 seconds.. only sometimes attacks.. adn sometimes just stops if theres 2 mobs lol

If you are having a problem with the version of ShamWOW that comes bundled in the HB .zip, please download version 4.06e from the Forum.

If you are having a problem with the version 4.06e from the Forum, please post a log with a description of the problem as mentioned in the FAQ in this thread.

Please post a log. Here is an excerpt from the FAQ in this thread for ease of reference....

3. I'm having a problem with ShamWOW. How do I post an issue?
Read at least the first four posts in this thread. If you don't see information on your issue, you need to do the following so I can look into it for you:
1. Close HonorBuddy
2. Delete the contents of your HonorBuddy\LOGS folder
3. Start HonorBuddy
4. Choose CC Configuration from the General Settings tab
5. Make sure the Debug Output setting is checked,
6. Close the ShamWOW Options window
7. Bot for a few minutes re-recreating your issue.
8. Stop HonorBuddy
9. Reply in this thread and Attach the complete LOG file you just created.

Bobby, are you not having the healing issue as well? Because everyone I've seen botting a shaman has had the problem, that's why I posted the modified code to the HB forum. It's the shaman.cs that comes with the new HB - but its modified so that healing works properly.
