Rift Bot - Yet Another Rifter!

Is running this profile with Trinity 1.8.24 fine? I'm currently using it with not much of a problem.

Sometimes it gets stuck going to level 2 after it have explored all the areas of level 1 and goes to town when finding tp stone.

I will see what's the changes in .24 very soon
 
This seems to work well, except sometimes it thinks the rift boss is dead and tries to tele out.

Bot stop running before level 2 entrance/ thinks rift boss is dead and tele out

Could be sole pathing/dongeon.cs thing error.

Happens quite often.

Looks like i cant even reach a boss to test things more lol

Could it be a lag issue ?????

This fixed my problem with bounties profile so maybe we can tweak the rift profile too ?:

. If someone has same problem, open Rakanoth profile with note pad or editing tool
and find a line " actorID=161276" ..... at the end of line you will see waitTime=1000. Change it to waitTime= 5000 or 6000 (depends on your computer's lag problem)m

Known issue, will fix!
 
This is awesome. Seems to be about 30% more efficient than my current rift profile.

One possible suggestions: why not have it create rift 2 in the same game as rift 1? Why open a new game? The advantage of doing it in the same game is the bonus exp pool won't get reset. I seem to be finding a pool of reflection about 60-70% of the time in rifts. As long as you don't die, the bonus exp will rollover from rift to rift. It seems to me that creating all of your rifts in a run in one game would yield greater exp, with no real downside (except the ~20 second wait).

There could be a reason you aren't doing this that I have overlooked.

Fix the problem when bot may leave rift when interacting with portal
Try to fix the problem when bot won't loot after killed boss
Full explore the current level then leave when the town stone is found in level 1 and 2.

If you are not updating Trinity, no need to update TED. Otherwise you can find the proper version of edited TED in the second post or make your own.
 
- Backtrack is almost 100% a Trinity issue, yet it related with the boxsize and tolerance we use in the profile. That is a complex thing.

I don't think it is an issue with backtracking.

The dungeon explorer is fundamentally broken on some random maps as I have told rrix but he doesn't believe me.

Each box has a point where the bot needs to walk to in order to mark the node as visited. When a box is barely touching the walkable area, the box point will be very close to the edge of the walkable area. When you use a tiny tolerance (rrix always uses 0.01) this happens frequently.

Usually when I see my bot getting stuck or walking back and forth, I pull up the map viewer and I see this is the case. I think the bot is trying to reach the point and the point is actually right outside the walkable area.
 
Delete Trinity folder and redownload Trinity, replace TED.

It seems that some of the files in Trinity is broken.

Replace the TrinityExploreDungeon file as stated in the thread.
 
I have been monitoring r4 for a consecutive 4 rifts (fifth on the go) and there is no missing loot from boss, no pre-mature townrun when taking portals. Worth a try!

I will focus on bug fix and may not add new features into it recently (in fact cannot come up with any). Yet it's open for any comments and suggestions!
