That value provides information for the rotation overrides to leverage. Setting it to 0 for example would leave you with Newb's dynamic rotation which i find great for leveling. if you don't know what rotation you can specifically use.

345-449 would give you the 345 rotation, 450-469 would give you the 450 rotation 470-499 or 509 or something... gives you the 470 rotation. aka get2++.
 
Hi guys,

This is the first test.

ExMatt - wondering if you have any advice on how to get this to wait till it has enough GP to execute a full 600GP rotation with a bias towards getting 8/8 rarity. At the moment it uses RegularNode at like 500 GP and just gets a collectibility of around 300ish.

Critiques welcome as I have yet to run this profile at any length. I changed one your second node for Camp Cloud top but haven't seen it in action. Mechanically the Idyllshire botanist nodes seem to be working just fine. In order to minimize flightpath issues I've had the bot teleport back to the "home aetheryte" at every 4 hour increment and created a flight path from there.

After I'm happy with this proof of concept I'll add the remaining locations and some switches so the user can decide which location to farm.

EDIT: Rookie errors were made.

I appear to be gfetting some pretty strange behaviour whereby ff14 completely freezes and doesn't allow me to put any input into it.

the game freezing, is your gathering/collecting window still open.. like you can do whatever.. just nothing character related?

add skipWindowDelay="1500" ... raise or lower it... i don't need it at all, but some have a need for it., Use this for gatherStrategy="TouchAndGo" or AlwaysGather="false" conditions if you ever get the freezing issue. I might up the value on default...and just make my profiles drop it down to 0 locally =/...
 
I am adding in some more code that I found more friendly with closing windows, but i'm not sure it will make you immune unless you use the delay.

Nah, I've had to increase spelldelay and the skipwindowdelay in the past as well, only the skipwindow atm, matt was kind enough to fix the other one for higher latency people.. shoe might be on the other foot once the servers move mid october XD
 
ahh nice!

Well I've repaired all the churning mists nodes and im running a test on it now. Appears to be working reasonably well. I think Y2k created some of his hotspots from midair which was causing the nav to go haywire (but I may be wrong!). Will post another version soon!

I seem to be having troubles with quite a few of the nodes.

For example the 8am to 12am in Idyllshire - it appears to just fly between two of the hotspots (one of them containing the ephemeral node). Even when the node is popped it doesn't go for it. Is there any logic between how the hotspots should be structured?

Looking forward to your sage advice!

Not sure what's going on with the nodes, but the rotation is a GP free rotation that'll get you 2-3/8 on the low lvl stuff, which is nice.. Saving your GP for the hidden stuff
 
Yeah that's what I was hoping - but this was Black Soil so I think it should have been going for broke?
 
ooh right.. Black soil is the hidden one.. yeah hmm.. maybe the values are wrong somewhere, in a list.. I can dig some after I get out of pvp

Could be.,.. I have done a few runs of his profile but it not working optimally was why I decide to attempt this little project....Perhaps we shall just have to wait for Master ExMatt to weigh in!
