Redirect when clicking links

Singular CC SVN search Chrome.webp

Same problem via Chrome.

Are you using Google Search each time though? if its not happening to every user using the forums then it cant be the forums, its too small an amount of people reporting it.

Those that have reported it (from what i can see) say its done from googling Honourbuddy, and on the Chrome screenshot of yours its a google search that has landed you on that page.

Have you tried just bookmarking the "www.thebuddyforum.com" address and loading from there?

I have never had a redirect since i started using Hb, i know i havent been using it for ages but surely i should have seen at least one if it was the forums. I never google Hb though i just use my speed dial in Opera.

Yes. I've tried that. I have it as a favourite on my Favourites bar and still get it from there. The impetus has gone from supporting and fixing this problem and as you said too few people are reporting it. I only included those pics to confirm what I'd said earlier, nothing more.

There are no real issues with preforming the search again and going to the forums, or with clicking the link on my Favourites bar twice.

It would be nice to see a fix and it seems easy to sort according to other posts in this topic but I'm not worried about it now that I've blocked the site. No chance of infections from a site that you can't get to any more.

This happens to me also, on multiple computers including a Mac.

I'm thinking its server side since all computers check out ok.

Smarter minds than mine will know the solution but it seems clear there's a connection between google and HB that causes this problem. I have been told there's a fix that can be applied to prevent it. Let's hope it's sorted soon.
