I know it was an issue with v7, but I had just posted an update just a few minutes before this post. Can you try this update and let me know if it happens again? There was a leftover questid check before this evening that would produce that behavior. You can use the debug.xml below the zip file to force loading into a bounty that contains this quest. After you get the debug file to match, load up the curse of bones file.
