Yes. It's really easy an AH Botter to catch another AH Botter. Just leave your bot on for an hour or so to re under cut several times and you will see if the same name pops up that undercuted you.

To be honest I was thinking to leave a dedicated bot only for AH while I put the mats in the Guild Bank with the other bots, but... after reading your story :/ I see that I am doing it right and better not go with 12 hours a day online AH bot.

What I do is to farm 1-2 hours, then relog to the AH character/bot that is on that account and run the AH Profile.
Important part of the method that I am using is that I have different for sale item list on the different accounts so they don't undercut each other.

Posting lots of Gems but they are not moving fast enough so my stock is piling up and up. This is costing a lot to re post after canceling.

Totally. Before I knew there was such a bot I got in a relist war on a bis crafted item (cataclysm era).

Dude undercut me for 10 min. Every time I posted it was undercut exactly in the same amount of time - way too in human. Whispered him 3 times - no response.

Not a guarantee of a bot...but pretty likely.

What you can do if you want to risk a little- post some near cost. When he/she undercuts you again, buy it out. If it's a frequently needed item, your major competition is gone for a while, it sold out a the lower point.

If the bot buys you out instead, you now know where they set their threshold.

Got banned within 3 days when running my AHbot. I think I pissed one guy off really bad cus he mailed me like a thousand mining picks to my toon to mess it up and then messaged me that he was gonna do everything he can to get me banned. This happened 2 days ago I think and today I was banned. Only ran it for 3 days total. I wouldnt surprise me if he called Blizz demanding to ban me right away cus he was rly pissed.

Anyone got advice on how to counter this? I cant rly lose an acc every 3 days, would get to expensive. If I would be able to run for atleast a week I would be happy with that.

Btw what was he so pissed up about?
He thinks that that is HIS server and he controls the economy there?
What for did you start that war between you? Bars? Gems? Glyphs?
Give us some info, most probably the guy is a fellow user on this forum as well.
He was pissed that you make his AHbot relist too often.

Hi! It is just great profile!! Just treat this like help with posting auctions- not like substitution. Im using this profile between raids or at work (teamviewer).
I have some features to add (dunno if it is just implemented)
- bot should stay at mailbox untill recieve all mails (50+). Atm he makes 2 or more routes to post all undercuted auctions
- dont delete auctions when some1 posted auction with value below my min. I set 5g for ghost iron ore. My competitor 6,5g but additonally add 1 auction for 1g. Bot canceled auction and didnt posted new one cuz 1g<5g.

edit: is any chance to implement random path to auctioneer?

Wait, What? I am not fighting over is it my idea or yours, I am just telling you that no one supports the bot anymore.
I started using it 7-10 days ago and I am waiting for someone with good skill at ProfessionBuddy coding to show up to help - no one has so far.
Or whoever can help just doesn't want to.
However I am using the profile and I love it, so I am helping in this thread to whomever I can.

In your case - I can't. I wanted same features as you, already posted them here, no one's replied. I even PMed the guy who made the profile - don't remember anymore what he said, but he obv. doesn't care.

That'll be a user issue with the mailbox, try turning off the datastore mail module or any other addons that scan the mail.
You can turn off undercutting or setup buying.
The navigation is controlled by HB, I was thinking of adding an option to choose random auctioneers after each cycle.

It will automatically find the closest auctioneer, which is controlled by professionbuddy.

Im not saying that it was anyones fault but mine (or actually its those fukkers that report me). I had it on for about 12 hours a day and had it off during the night. Last time I botted I was able to run for three months without a ban. Did it exactly like I do now. So I was very surprised that it happened so quick now.

So what you are suggesting is that I run it for 15 minutes or so and then turn it off for 1-2 hours. And then repeat. I am a little worried that I wont be able to sell enough but I will try it out.

You got very lucky first time but 2nd time you got smashed. I hope you dont bot like a bot But by the sounds of it you do So dont be surprised in not getting the account back.

Yeah, I was kidding about the dead part. However, look at the the thread - when was his last post before the one after mine? 3 weeks ago.
From all the suggestion that are mentioned here he doesn't say that he is gonna try to implement neither of them, he has given up on the project IMO.

Could be that the bot is doing what he intended, and thus he doesn't feel the need to implement any changes. I dunno, but I know what you mean. It's nice to see developers constantly tweaking to make things better or add things that ppl would find useful.

I've noticed a lot of dev's stalled on projects. I dunno if people are getting burned out, or if there is something else going on. *shrug*

Do you think that zakanator is your private profile writer?
Do you think that he owes you any sort of support?
Do you think that because he has written a profile for himself and uploaded it here to share that he has an obligation to you?
Do you think that because he fixes any errors that are reported that he is obligated to adding random idea's to the profile?
Do you think that people don't have a life?
Do you think that people might have emergencies in their life that maybe they don't want to explain to you?

I could go on like this all night to people like you.

If this is a dead project then I am sure he would state so, otherwise if it has gone for months and is broken simply report it as broken to a mod.
If you don't like it, then delete it out of your folder...easy fix.

Also, why don't you read the very last line on his posts and maybe think about a nice big sum for this guy... assuming you can count past one.
