[PAID] [Priest] Insanity - An Advanced Honorbuddy Shadow Priest Routine [PvE/PvP]

I understood what you meant. No this routine isn't worth it just for leveling, in my opinion. Try Richie's public shadow priest routine. I haven't used it (I use Insanity for Shadow PvE, OracleII for Holy & Disc PvE and Gladiator's Suite for PvP) but it's the only free routine and it'll probably work fine for you (it has to be better than Singular).

Also for Furnace can you ignore the elementals when they're immune to damage?
Can you like the unit and (if you can) the immune buff they get?
Just checked - that's already in the 'do not attack' list. Shouldn't cast on any unit with that damage shield aura.

These are still being DoTed up.

A few other things:

1) On Blackhand the guys up on the balcony (Iron Soldier - NPC - World of Warcraft) aren't being attacked. The routine just seems to Mind Flay which ever one I target but they aren't being DoTed with anything and it's not using Devouring Plague on them. I assume this is because they are put on a do not attack list so the routine ignores them since they are not attackable from the ground but may not be out of range or out of line of sight (just a guess). Is there a way you can check if we're on the balcony and remove them from the blacklist if we are?

2) The routine still uses Mind Blast when we're at 5 orbs when using Auspicious Spirits (I'm not sure if the spec is relevant or if it happens with CoP since I pretty much only use AS now).

3) I would really love to be able to set a different number of enemies to use Mind Sear on depending on if we have the Insanity buff or not. If I don't have it I'd probably rather be DoTing shit up to get the orb generation going.

4) Can you add an option to keep attacking after we go stealth from Spectral Guise? When I use it on Maidens I have to break myself out of stealth before the routine will start attacking again. That's good for PvP but on Maidens I don't really care about staying in stealth.

5) Being able to set a target number for using Cacade would be nice. Or a way to toggle it's use without toggling all of my AOE. I could then toggle it off when I want to save it for a short amount of time if I know adds will spawn soon.

6) I still think the Auspicious Spirits logic needs a little work. I lose my 4set buff more than I probably should. I think it doesn't cast instant cast spells if Mind Blast is off cooldown and we're running or at least it feels that way. I feel like we're wasting orbs and at the same time not pooling them enough. Sometimes we spam out the Devouring Plagues too quickly and lose the buff from not staggering them and other times we're getting a lot of orbs coming in and the routine doesn't dump them fast enough. Just some thoughts.

to add: is there any way you can Blacklist the spears in the Beastlord encounter from being dotted up using Vampiric Touch? you only need to SW:Pain them in order to start genning orbs, vampiric is wasted being casted on them (or at least, let there be an option to blacklist mobs?)

If my memory serves me correctly isnt there a setting in the ui for vampiric touch? If its total casts pick one. Or if its minimal health set to higher then health of spears. Pretty sure that will solve your problem.
 
mm, problems occour when VT drops from boss and then a spear gets dotted instead of boss; would just be nice to negate this entirely!

You have to be in shadow specc when you load HB. Im sure ur in one of ur heal specc right now.
 
Do you recommend your CoP Lite or Standard for RBG/BG?

Lite is probably the easiest for PvPing imo. Standard is good for bursting down single target players - i.e. flag carriers, but in general you're probably best off using lite.

Hey Millz. I noticed on AS the routine won't cast instant cast spells while on the move if Mind Blast is off CD. I assume it's a hold over from the COP rotation where it wants to use MB.

Can you post a log file (or talent build) please? I'm guessing it's something to do with some specific talent options.

They will still get DoT'ed if they don't have that shield buff up. If the shield is up then it shouldn't dot them though. Are you noticing something different ?

1) They aren't on a blacklist - it's LoS issues with those mobs. I can't disable LoS checks on them though otherwise it tries to attack them when you aren't on the balcony - and that's even worse because it just locks up. If you're on the balcony and targeting the mob, and it's MF'ing but not dotting, then that suggests that the time to die counter is so low it doesn't believe the unit is worth dotting. Would need to check log file's TTD value for that one though.

2) Is there any specific circumstance you've notice this happen under? Single target... only when X number of units around etc? The code can definitely let that happen, just easier to fix if I know the reason it does it.

3) I'll add this to my to-do list to have a look into. Not certain how easy it would be to do this though.

4) Just use a /cancelaura macro. Bind it to something that you're casting like...

Here's a full log that should show the attacking Primal Elementalists while they're buffed and probably several instances of casting Mind Blast while at 5 orbs. It should also have some balcony time in there. I might not be multidotting up there because their TTD is low but if I could throw a few dots and that would kill them I'd prefer it so I could just dot them and then jump down.

I feel kind of bad reporting this since I was one of the ones to request that Devouring Plague be spread out to secondary targets since I thought clipping it would be bad but... Apparently Devouring Plague now has an Ignite mechanic. Left over tick damage is lumped into the new Devouring Plague so it is no longer bad to overwrite our Devouring Plagues.

Assuming this is true (I found a few websites claiming it is) it would be better to focus Devouring Plagues only on our targets. For instance putting a devouring plague on a spear during Beastlord only makes the spear die sooner meaning less SW:P uptime for more procs. Plus this will mean I won't need to disable AOE mode as much to focus fire a target since all my DPs (the bulk of my damage) are guaranteed to be focused properly. Sorry!
 
I just bought the Preimum Version, Didn't see any Trial version. However, it drops my FPS down to 1 fps when there are more than 1 mob in a raid setting, when on a target dummy it seems fine, and only lags a little bit, I've tried different settings like the framelocks, and bringing wow done to low settings, but it doesn't work, any suggestion on what may be wrong? Thank you.

I still think it's a good idea to cast DP on off-targets if we're at 5 orbs and it shouldn't be cast on the target. I'll adjust the mechanics a bit. I'll put in a change to hopefully resolve that 5 orb Mind Blast too.

Hi milz I love the profile but I have a few queries:
1) how do I stop vampiric touch being in the routine? I tried to lower it to 0 targets but it still keeps casting it..? Is there anyway to modify the routine, I.e. Mind spike spam and mind blast
2) how do I manually stop auto move to target - in bgs this is especially annoying because if it's around an obstacle like a bridge or at a higher level it will go around the back instead of going directly down. Is there anyway to stop it and let me manually control once it has a target?
3) before burst enabled has been established at 70% let's say it will keep dotting / casting on other targets. How do I focus one target and make sure it stays on it despite being around other targets for example flag carriers
4) the angelic feather is very hit and miss it doesn't keep it up automatically sometimes which is frustrating in bgs
5) cascade is sometimes used sometimes isn't, is that normal?

Hey

1) You can disable it on everything but the current target. It'll always cast it on the target as it's part of the rotation. Not sure why you'd want to disable it fully? Mind Spike is cast dependant on talent build. Mind Blast can't be disabled.

2) You can disable movement on the General tab (or via the hotkeys).

3) Disable AoE using the hotkeys. It'll then focus only on the current target.

4) It'll cast it directly on top of you. Sometimes (normally when you've got some form of speed increase) it can miss. If I made it cast X yards in front of you then it would be worse because any time you change direction you'd miss it. The current solution is the most reliable.

5) Would need a log file to see what's up with this. It'll cast based upon the conditions in the GUI.
