[PAID] [Priest] Insanity - An Advanced Honorbuddy Shadow Priest Routine [PvE/PvP]

New build pushed and awaiting approval. Most new builds are approved at 5am UTC - so it might take a little while for this to be approved. Suggest avoiding Insanity talent until it's accepted.

- All targeting checks are now ignored once an encounter has been detected in progress.
- Fixed Insanity - aura had changed in client which prevented it casting.
- Increased priority on Searing Insanity.
- Mind Sear should now be a little smoother when casting ahead of other more important abilities.

Latest update - Using CoP lite it doesn't use insanity. It just casts dp mindblast and stands there waiting till the insanity buff is over then keeps doing the rotations again. No insanity casts the whole fight.

Just noticed this as well, thought I'd read them but I missed those posts :P No problem, just using SoD for now! Keep up the good work.

I ranked really well testing out Mindbender last night. The bug gave me a chance to try it out and I might be using it more even after the fix.
 
Hmmm - noticing in raid tonight that I keep mind spiking away all my dots (including when DP is up!) - is this intentional or a bug? I'm running CoP Dotweave (new) with insanity atm.
 
I'm noticing something similar, bluehead. I had that similar problem and it wasn't even using insanity.

It'll be due to the Insanity bug.

New build hasn't been accepted yet - I've pushed a revised one with some more changes... awaiting approval..

- DoT Weave [New] will now clip MF:I when 4PC T17 bonus active.
- DoT Weave [New] will now handle SW:D glyph correctly.
- Clipping Insanity casts now clips right after the last tick occurs.

Any more info on this? I was under the impression SWD was only worth casting before execute range if you're moving. I removed the glyph because it seems like BRF has a lot of fights with adds that could be executed regularly so I didn't want the CR to waste SWD CDs. Is it worth using the glyph again in your opinion?

My DPS went up a bit with these changes, Insanity is higher in my breakdown now. Well Done! Just did 46k On flamebender, amazing stuff!
 
Any more info on this? I was under the impression SWD was only worth casting before execute range if you're moving. I removed the glyph because it seems like BRF has a lot of fights with adds that could be executed regularly so I didn't want the CR to waste SWD CDs. Is it worth using the glyph again in your opinion?
I helped Millz betatest the 4piece dotweave and during that I pointed out the SWD glyph being used badly during rotation and it has now been changed to only use during movement if nothing with higher priority is available

The routine breaks mind blast suring insanity flay, what I meant before is that it should always have highest priority, Mind blast should never break an insanity flay with the set AOE target number. It's a huge DPS loss, I've gone down about 6-7k on those encounters due to the casts breaking.

The single target insanity clipping is good, though. Increased DPS.

But can you please please please not make DP or Mind Blast cancel Insanity flay, it should be higher prio than both if the AOE number is met from your settings. I do at least 100k + Multistrikes DPS a sec on beastlord/operator adds. I'm down to 60k because of the breaks. Any chance this could get fixed, it's really hindering my performance [I'm actually just pausing the routine and casting currently] I never had to do that before.

It'll just cast when moving now instead of trying to squeeze it into the rotation.

Replied to your PM regarding Searing Insanity. It's currently doing it as per simulation craft's rules - will need to test extensively before altering this logic.

Sorry i was writing like an idiot to anyone else who has read this, i was referring to MIND SEAR: INSANITY only not "flay" :-)

- Will now ignore Risen Spirit units in Ashran.
- High AoE will now chain cast Searing Insanity on >= 6 units.
