Is there no Option like in the other Builds --> Set full AOE (Mind Sear) at .....Targets ?
So i can multidot with Shadow Wordain an Vampiric Touch , and optional with Mind Sear by .....Targets.
Hope you now what i mean , but like the others said Well done and thank you for your excellent service and routine : )

Love this CR! No matter PvE or PvP the results are really nice! But it would be better if there was a option to let others kick you sometimes. I guess its obvious if you just can't get kicked Maybe some on/off toggle would be nice.
Do you plan on releasing more CRs?

It fails depending on latency. I'd be surprised if it worked successfully every time?

I just purchased the routine and when I try with questing, party or bgbuddy I just get the following:

[Insanity] Bot Started - Reloading Talents!
[Insanity] [HP: 100] [Mana: 100] [Insanity/Voidform: 0/False] Using the Shadow rotation.
[Insanity] [HP: 100] [Mana: 100] [Insanity/Voidform: 0/False] Rebuilding behaviors due to changes detected (TalentManager.Pulse()).
[Insanity] [HP: 100] [Mana: 100] [Insanity/Voidform: 0/False] Using the Shadow rotation.

And my char does nothing but sit there until it times out of WoW. Any ideas?


EDIT: sorry just noticed it looks like someone else reported it and is fixed, I think the store just needs to update with the latest version...

Ah - printing the message is the attempt, it doesn't confirm its successful. Won't always work.

- Will no longer attempt to cast Psychic Scream if Mind Bomb talented.
- Mind Sear now casts when unit count matches high aoe setting value on shadow tab.
- Added Shadow Mend Self option.
- Will no longer use Mind Sear if AoE disabled.
- Fixed rotation not working with AFK bot bases (Questing/BGBuddy etc).

I just bought this routine, have one question.. Will I be able to use it with legionbuddy as well? I only use HB for lazy raiding and will be using legionbuddy for maximum security. Somewhat bad if I have to purchase the same routine again before I even started to use it

Hey - Insanity is exclusive to Honorbuddy. It won't work with Legionbuddy (when released).

Alright. But the FAQ for legionbuddy says you are one of the coders for the routines included in legionbuddy. Will the included priest routine be coded by you and similar in performance?

I guess I want to know if I should ask for my money back for the honorbuddy routine and buy something exclusive for legionbuddy instead since insanity will be pretty much useless to me now. unless you intend to release it for legionbuddy as well.

I'm developing a paid routine for Legionbuddy - which will also be available via the buddy store (on a monthly subscription). It'll be similar to Insanity. Performance will be on par eventually - but it'll take time to tune to get it to that stage.

To be aware though - when refunding products via the buddy store, you can't then re-purchase at a later date - so if the rotation on LB isn't what you're after, you wouldn't be able to re-purchase again on HB.

*Edit* I know what the issue is, looking into a fix.

*Edit2* Fixed in the next update. Close HB, edit the file <HB>/Settings/Insanity/PersistantSettings_<name>.xml to change EnableOverlay from true to false, and the values "Overlay***" to a whole number (like 100) should resolve it for now.

Priorities in PVP

I've been running this through some arena skirmishes today and I've noticed that it really wants to prioritize multidotting with VT and SW over instant mind blast procs and over using SW: Death (with the 35% talent) It also is clipping quite a few casts of Void Eruption by using Mindflay in the short downtime between mindblast/Eruption. This results in a lot of kill chances going away because the pressure stops. I found myself trying to force these spells to keep pressure up.

This was tried with "AOE enabled." because I would like the CR to still multidot (Just not prioritize it over instant cast procs/CDs)

- Rotation should no longer crash when saving settings. Note: Hotkey settings have been reset to accommodate this change.
- Changed prioritys of Mind Blast / SWD to be higher than multi-dotting.
- Void Bolt now takes into account travel time before casting to refresh DoT durations.
- Will no longer cast Mind Flay/Sear when it should be casting Void Eruption.

Pretty legendary response time/Fix time. I'll pull down the update and try it out tonight and let you know how it's behaving in the arena environment now. Awesome response time man I can't articulate that enough, really solid build for this early in the changes.

Why are there no default presets? I'm trying to use my ilevel 674 Disc Priest as Shadow in solo-farming Firelands 25-man and it gets killed left and right. It used to work before the Pre-Patch using both Insanity and TuanHA, but after the Pre-Patch it idles all the time using Singular and TuanHA doesn't work at all and Insanity seems to get itself killed on heavy pulls all the time. Doesn't use Power Word: Shield in any logical situations and I can't wrap my head around how to configure it successfully and with the lack of default presets I'm at a complete loss.

Great job with updates so far, you are getting there!

As some have suggested the multi-dot feature should have some rework. you should have the bot cleave on 1-3 targets (maintain SWP and VT at all time and use void bolt on the target with least amount of time on dots) and on 4+ (often thrash) just keep SW up and spam mind sear and use mind blast on CD. I often find myself in situations where the thrash is dead when I'm applying the third VT and almost no dmg done.

Have a look at icy veins and the shadow priest guide to get a better understanding of what I mean.
