i agree..since ive started playing alliance i notice we lose 80% of our bgs...mostly due to botters lmao...

Should just have the *email* poll questions. The others e.g., grinding, pvp, are just speculation as to why the person was banned and they cannot be sure therefore you're not getting solid/correct statistics, just presumptions.

Just saying.. ;D lol.
this.

I would think in BGs. Just because every one knows who the bots are, and they report them.

I'd guess this order:

Getting stuck
Grinding
Instances
PVP
Repetitive professions
Questing
Non-repetitive professions

it probably is though, although its not a form of botting.

People talk about morals here but I am going to be honest. Botting is like the maffia...you better take them out before they take you out. There are little to no nice guys when you are out there on the streets in wow making gold and abusing the economy. Sure 1/2 of you might be nice people and yes we do bot so share common ground, but, the fact of the matter is in this industry there isn't much trust and there are a lot of slimey botters out there who will happily report you for a number of reasons. What you need to do is take them out before they take you out. No niceties or leaving them be if you are nice chances are it'll come back to haunt you. See someone botting? report the wise before he reports you. Mark his armory down...leave him on your friends list so you can monitor him until he's taken out of the game and whacked.

People like you are the problem and shouldnt even be allowed to use this bot.

thats bad dude ''sinbeast;; tut tut did u knwo i have a friend slist of loads of botters so i can see where they are etc so i know whats areas not to go too and thats it, i see bots everywhere and i just stay clear and i have a giggle, we are a community and without that we wouldnt have good people making us plugins,profiles etc etc so like mum and dad always says respect your roots and realise how good youve got it

So you're happy to report bots, even though any of those chars could quite possibly be owned by Bossland/Apoc/CG/Tony/Kick/Raph/Nap.... the people that directly make it possible for you to bot.

The bot that you report can be a Tony, Kick, Apoc, testing stuff to release here, so by your logic if you report them this might delay some nice addition to the program you use... So, nice try but you just shoot yourself in the foot.

Yep people like yourself need to be banned from these forums, because honestly us true botters look out for one another. I have not and never will report a single bot even when they ninja my bots nodes. You sound like the guy on my server that does nothing but complain about bots, but yet he is a bot and wants it's to himself. Hope Tony or Code really removes this guy from accessing the forums.

I've never reported a bot in the six years prior to using one and I don't ever plan to.

Most risk form of botting:

while(true) {
Lua.DoString("DoMacroText(\"/2 I bot, lol. Don't believe me? Go off, come back in 10 hours, watch how I'm still spamming this.\");");
}

Go afk for a few days.

I'd have to say that PvP botting is the riskiest. I for one don't believe Blizzard has some magical tripwires in place to catch botters after they have been online non-stop for so many hours. I bot 24/7 with arelog so DCs dont stop me 7 days a week on one of my accounts and its never been banned warned nothing.

I think all bans are from player reports so in PvP you're in a close proximity with a lot of other players, someone somewhere is going to whisper you one of these days and then realize you're a bot and report you.

TL;DR PvP more players around to report you

Half the bans in the ban section wouldn't be there if bots didn't report other bots. It's like a rule that shouldn't have to be said.

You're just being selfish.

You, sir (or lady?), made my day

Guess the most ban mails of Blizz are send due to abuse of the economy.
But its a allrounder reason. They dont even care what people did, just send their standartmails and fill in the name of the banned and change the date.
