Is it possible to get banned for archaeology? I know u can be banned for anything since u use a third party programm, but come on, who gives a crap this type of botting.

Probably won't get banned from it. You're often always moving, and you'll never see another person while doing the archaeology bot. IMO it's very safe to run a lot, just not inhumanly i.e. 24/7

well i was able to do archy bot in 3-4 days in a row never got banned but if its grinding while i did it for 2-3 daysa while ago never d/c or log out only pure grinding and got a wisp saying reported for botting replayed in 2-3 min telling him to gtfo my face and got suspended for 48 a while later TROLOL for useing a bot while i can say i did my own mistake never stay online in wow pure killing mobs in 3 days blizz will get a report or something and they will look at my logs will say what sup 3 days not offline killing pure mobs none stop well i think this is 100% pure bot :D

If I hadn't been near my computer the other day while using AB, I MAY have been reported - I had landed and was surveying when I guess a player saw me run by... he he sent a wsp asking if I could help with a quest that he was undergeared for... If I hadn't replied, he COULD have wondered if someone was behind the keyboard or not... I broke off from AB and helped him out... decided to be nice. ;)

well that poll is very helpful for me. from that info i think i will level through quest profiles then archeology for the last 15 lvls or so

I have recieved multiple Bans from Blizzard lately for selling gold. However i did not actually sell any gold. These where small amounts i gave to some friends that needed some raiding cash. 4k here 4k there. They locked me down multiple times just for giving someone 4K.

I have to say selling gold is the fastest way to get your account banned, Even though i got it reversed each time. They aren't taking chances with any gold trades.

When you do these polls, can you please add if it's US, EU or asian servers? from what i hear they are more aggressive on the US servers than they are on the EU ones.

I didn't get hit yet by gold selling... but I do almost all my gold trades with gbanks =)

Other way round mate. They look much more carefully on the EU side.

Blizzard e-mail: Abuse of the economy. Very strange reason because I never sold gold or spam AH. And they didn't touch my mine acc which hard botted from Glider times. I do boting for fun and not for money.

5 accs. twice - 72 h ban, 1 acc - permanent. But all accs (inc. perm) was recovered within 3 days after 1 email to support.

grinding got me 2 times ban. and im not smart enough to wait for cooldown but instead went to sell gold 2 days later. that got me permanent ban.

2 times release saying im using vpn.

What's the point in saying you are using a vpn??

Hey guys.
I was just recently banned when I bought 3x full wow at blizzards store. There was this sale, full wow for 35 bucks.
I didnt recognized that it has a restriction to just 5 items (3x3 are 9 ;D).
However, I activated wotlk and cata on another battle chest account, unfortunately bliz wrote me 2 days later that the order was
canceled since it was unauthorized. Nevertheless, they told me in the e-mail that all activated licences were withdrawn.
Just an hour later they also banned the battle chest account.
Thats called marketing ? la bliz
Regards

If you used the same method of payment then you can't complain.

From friends and talking to other botters it seems that flooding ah with ores and.herbs is the most common, usually 72hr bans.. Grinding seems to be the most common. Its rare to be banned from bgs atm. but.. Personally i would say selling gold in large amounts is suicide, even thru guildbanks.. When i sell gold i always tell.them to take.20k at a time.. I cap the amount they can take incase blizz detect the transactions.. Im sure anything under 40-50k would not ring alarm bells.

depends on your history really, if you have a history of trading people large sums of money over time, you're fine.
I give away / sell gold in numbers of 100k+ / 2-3 days to friends, and have never gotten a suspension. But, i've been doing it since WoTLK.

i sold 50k on a new acc (battle chest) and was instantly slapped with a 72 hour suspension :P
