[Plugin] Giles Combat Replacer

still doesnt leap while in combat and less than 50% hp when cd is up..

edit: against illusionists, the bot doesnt use ww or pop wotb for some reason.. just frenzies

yes giles mentioned this in a previous post, there is no need to leap in combat, its a waste when you have high LOH
 
The lagg - if it didn't kind of freeze my computer on 1/5 of the elite packs ( I don't normally have any problems running d3 at all , with or without demonbuddy) it would be great.

Yes i think the lag is a problem with the current DB version, i found that turning evasion to OFF does decrease by alot.

This plugin works really well for lower level barbs too. I had access to most of the skills needed by 40ish, and with decent lowbie gear my barb is getting about 10% more exp per hour running skycrown battlements than with Belphegor. I think next time I'll try it out at even lower level next time I buy keys, see how it handles just normal non-WW barb skills.
 
giles is this the wizard you are working towards?
I have used this manual thru acts 1 and 2 with crap gear and its almost unstoppable.

I read that in 1.04 they said that it would only be possible to do this IF you had massive crit chance. Do not know what massive means but I bet it is going to be close to 50%.

Well i have 47% atm and its awesome :d having a 30% drop in efficiency is a biatch but tbh getting ~50% crit chance isn't too costy
and for act 1 you can have even less
 
giles I gotta say I prefere the old priority for goblins. My guy doesnt even chase them at all now. Can you put in a toggle or something for old prioritization and new on goblins? Its not even a matter of killing them fast enough, as soon as my monk sees another mob even a normal one it attacks that instead of the goblin and goblin gets away.
 
Another option for the critical mass wizzards is to run with Teleport - Safe Passage.
this essentially gives you a 30% dmg reduction like all melee characters for 4 seconds (with CM its a perma buff)

Yeah think this is actually just an unintended bug than an intentional change!

There's a few "oddities" atm I'll work on picking apart and fixing - from the way sometimes it seems to forget an elite is an elite and goes for a regular grey (trees in act 1 don't count - trees have super high priority and should be killed quick! :P), to not chasing goblins even when set to prioritize, to wizards "moving around" a bit too much in combat (like a melee character would). It's still early days with this plugin yet, it's only 3 days old (not even that), so I'm sure it'll only get smoother and faster as I work on it! :D

(but I do need people's feedback - eg spotting a skill not working when it should, like leap <50% HP - it should be leaping at about <70% hp or so... or not using WW even with enough fury - although this might be because it had already hit <= 20 fury, which makes the bot "save up" to 70+ fury again before it starts WW'ing so it has enough fury to do a longer WW)

I am just glad people are already finding these early versions so effective! :D

(as for the lag - I think a lot of it is my first ever attempt at some extremely basic path-finding and stuff for avoidance - try turn avoidance off temporarily and see how lag improves and let me know, also the very next version of DB is meant to be massively optimized and should fix a lot of lag and make this even faster, fingers-crossed).

I ran into 3 raging beast blues and my whole game slowed down to about 1fps.
he froze and died 2 times to them. I had to restart the bot.
wonder what makes them so special??

he is doing over 50% on chest so far.
like was said he does not track treasure goblins.

Are they those huge bull-like monsters? If so I've found the same, I think it's the object-size screws up the path-finding (they have a large "Object radius" and I think how things are atm, it means if three are close to you you are completely body-blocked and so the path-finder is constantly checking for paths out which are impossible which slows it to a crawl). I wonder though if it's only avoidance checking that hits hard with those big-bull-things, or general combat... try disabling avoidance and see if the lag is as bad, less, or gone altogether with the big bulls?
 
oh yeah I do love the plugin and I will use anything you make =) I was using the [Plugin] Escape Desecrator \ Arcane before and liked it but yours seems to work a bit better, if a bit laggier. I am sure you will figure it all out. For me its just a few adjustments like the goblin thing and the lag thing, but even with those things going on, this is still a very functional and preferred plugin for me.

I tried this for Wizical Mass. I'm greatly amazed. Beside the fact the Wiz is continusly "dancing" like he was trying to walk trought mobs, it's incredibly quick to react, spammy, effective. The mobs just die so quick it's really not hard to avoid all the shits when stuff die that quick while non-stop CCed.

Keep up the AMAZING work friend.
 
It doesn't use prismatic armor for me , if there something i can do?

Should be using energy armor fine. Have you waited for it to get into range of a monster first (should buff once it first sees combat). Is it just never casting it at all?
 
I never thought of size I bet you are correct when they are blue or gold they are huge.
Yep he was head to head with 3 and just lagged out.

Getting a lot of 62 and 63 drops but not much quality my monk only has 33 mf ROFL.

I am going to change to my wizard and give him a shot, I would love to see it run with db.
 
Giles, more feedback:

On the range blue monsters (either the queens or the spear throwsers), the bot would often ignore them if the range guys start running away. Is it possible to focus target them like goblins (while still taking into account of target switching on sheild, invuln, etc).

I just tried the mage build and well at first I was standing there wondering what was wrong. 2 tornados and he was dead.

he is kicking ass GREAT WORK GILES
he almost died once ROFL
ok he did die once a gold and 3 blues all invincible but that is just gay wilsons hatred of the player base.

he just did 3 savage beast and didn't get slowed.

its a shame that all of this will end Tuesday CRY

sometimes the ww barb doesnt spin at all.. it just bashes.. no idea why, full rage. it was against those electric field mobs that go invisible in act 2.. he just stand there and bashes health slowly going down. doesnt whirlwind.. they were illusionists.
