[Plugin] Giles Combat Replacer

i got a report with wizzie CM built, im using the usual skills energry twist, cm as passive etc etc.. im also using explosive blast and short fuse as rune but it doesnt spam it or so.. sometimes it doesnt use it.

anyone seeing this problem with their wizzies?

edit: spectral blades with rune healing .. doesnt hit melee as well for this current plug

I've ran it for 7 hours and was at 0d/h. I modified the build a bit and what I'm using for Giles is on 1st page of wizzy tank thread.

Explosive Blast the last rune gives a bit more dps and is quite spammy!
 
Do you got serios talent or have the DB team just been slacking? Basicly you have done a better job in 3 days then they have done in a half year and your not getting paid - wtf? What I am trying to say is that this is amazing. No death on a only medicore geared monk so far on act 2 (only been running 30 mins, but feels good).

A small bug: vs. goblin as a monk fist of thunder should normally teleport multiply times. It doesn't seem to be doing this which basicly means the goblin surrives since I cannot catch it.

Edit: After 20 mins additional watching I can say that the lagg seems totaly gone, I had expected some improvements but now it even gives better fps than belphagor. I can't even see small fps drops or anything atm.

+1 to this, very noticeable combat efficiency and smoothness with the latest plugin, avoidance works almost like a charm now.
 
Noticed my barb has problems with plagued and des when not in the open. He pussy foots around them so much that he never attacks and can get killed in tight corners or if he is also being walled at the same time. Not sure if you can make it so he knows when he's trapped and just to attack instead of run away. Again eq and wotb not being used properly, almost seems like they are activated randomly on elites and champs.

I forgot to mention last time that this combat routine is amazing for speed and even with the two problems I listed above I rarely die now.
 
with the new version is seems to be going after all mobs including trash mobs and not skipping any. Is this intended giles due to the upcoming drop chance change on trash mobs?
 
Three things I quickly noticed with the latest version:

Barb will try and dodge iceballs when in WoTB-mode. No need, since he won't freeze when in WoTB-mode.
Barb won't use EQ on elites.
Barb will use Leap on CD, but almost at random and sometimes has to run back for loot.

Giles teleport has a rune safe passage i think it gives you 4 seconds of 30% dmg reduction like melee characters have.
it's perfect for the CM buid if it could spam that every 4sec (if off cooldown)
 
You do amazing work. Please understand I intend to improve, not criticize. Great efforts sir.

I have plenty of stats to survive a WW build in Act I yet now with the avoidance I actually die. I had 0 deaths previously doing sword & board. I was up to 43 deaths/hr with or without avoidance now. I think something that may improve would be to have him start bashing the shit out of an unshielded mob during invulnerable or shielding. I'll keep an eye out for those mobs and see what happens.

Arcane dodging is non-existent. He'll plow right through everything. If there's plague on the ground forget it. Heh.

Speaking of plague... WW successfully avoids this (great work there) but then since there is nothing to attack we get strafing until the mob finally exits the ground effect. It seems you have it hard coded to only build to WW; what contingencies exist when kick-starting the WW cycle is more dangerous than simply bashing to full rage as ground effects allow?

epic work Giles! This was very much needed. Ive noticed tho that I get stucks when using this with Radonics a1 profile. Dunno if its cus of this plugin or just unlucky.

Ah didn't know that about the iceballs and WotB, I'll add that in as a check :D

Earthquake seems to be a bit dodgy itself with the way DB calls it as a usepower - even with a forced-delay both before and after submitting the use-power, it still sometimes doesn't ACTUALLY cast in Diablo 3 even though DB thinks it has cast it (you'll even find it buried in full diagnostics as if it has just been used). Then again I had a play with it manually and I found I could actually stop it from casting in Diablo 3 even if I pressed the key, depending what else I was trying to do at the same time, so I think Diablo might be overly sensitive to certain abilities with long animation times - I'll have a play with it and see if I can find a solution.

Earthquake is a shit to cast even by hand, have to wait before and after, can't be spammed at all. Actually works this way when playing by hand sadly!

seriously though I have to agree in gold runs earthquake had to follow right after a leap to be guaranteed of working at the exact time you wanted it.
and sucking all of them into the earthquake was a given.

Frustratingly I did fix that originally and then I think in one of my updates I disabled it while testing the lags and forgot to re-enable it or something, I'll have a look into that one :D

Another question, about my monk. With this plugin, how do you tell when to use what skill? When to use serenity for example?

I used my judgements and a lot of feedback from players as to when to use each skill. I've had to judge them on the most "common use", since Db doesn't yet let me read runes (so any "special uses" from using a particular, less-commonly-used-rune, might not work as you'd want until I have the capability to read runes on skills). Serenity, for example, gets used if monk health is less than or equal to 45% and if you have at least 10 spirit, and is prioritized quite highly (so if you are at <45% health, it won't decide to do another attack instead - it'll pick serenity first and foremost). If you find any skills being used unusually/wrongly circumstance wise, be sure to let me know (just keep in mind about me not being able to see which runes are used yet!).
 
All i can say is tahnk you for this great plugin. With the lates update the lag is also gone :) som fucking smooth now :)
 
doesn't seem to be popping WOTB on elites, even though its off cooldown. could this have anything to do with me using boon of bal-kathos? (reduced timer for EQ and WOTB)
