[Plugin] Giles Combat Replacer

With v0.5.3.1 and Backtracking enabled, when combat finished it seems just go to the next waypoint and ignoring gold pies, have seen it many times.

With v0.5.3.1, when enter WW repeat mode, there still a chance switch to BASH mode even there is enough furies.

Mine still doesn't attack Siegebreaker even with last version, running Monk with FoT

Hmmm, it missed a 61 ilvl rare, maybe not gold pies only. DO not sure is this realted to StashReplacer v1.9.9.1

Does it leave loot behind? I just posted about the plugin leaving loot behind, but realized I had back tracking disabled. So I I'm going to give it another try with back tracking to see if it cures the leaving loot behind I had. Hopefully that's the case as I think the actual combat is awesome.

the DB developers should be fucking ashamed! that an outside person not getting paid is doing a better job then they are. You are fucking amazing giles! and i thank you so dam much for the work you are doing

Not that I really dissagree with you, but you have to keep in mind, designing the bot engine involves a different skillset than designing the combat engine. They need to do memory analysis/dissasembly and basically figure out all the memory offsets and how to issue commands. To properly design a combat engine, you need to understand how to play the game and spend a lot of time playing it. As you can see, it hasn't been that easy for the developers to track down all the memory leaks and other issues with the current version.

Still, you can hardly expect your typical (i.e. non programmer) end user to design their own combat engines. The basic engine was junk, Belphagor is decent, although it plays at a huge dissadvantage compared to manually playing. Giles engine, for the most part seems to attack and use skills faster than if you were manually playing. It obviously has weaknesses compared to playing manually, but to get that much better would require some sophisticated ai.

Is it possible to make a kiting barb combat routine? I tried it with seismic slam but the barb hardly cast sslam. Whenever he does cast, he was right next to the monsters

i found it kind of buggy when attacking Azmodan, my monk had obvious intervals between two attacks.

I also found an interesting thing that the bot keep attacking the demon summoned by the legendary weapon 'Maximus'....

hope this info would help:
Type: Unit Name: DemonChains_ItemPassive-11551 ActorSNO: 249320, Distance: 6.482884

Solved, added the actorSNO in the plugin file.

Is it me or does it not cast Sweeping Winds when I want it to use Mantra of Conviction?

Please look into it.

had the exact same problem, one way i found to fix this is make your sweeping wind have higher priority within the plugin code. I simply added a "1" to the front, making it the highest priority spell

Which line is it on?

Hi Giles, some feedback:

Rend is still not casting very quickly when there is an abundant fury. By the time bot casts (using this plugin) monsters are already below half health. In contrast, Belphegor's Rend casts immediately and way more frequent even if it is on single elite/rare/champ and immediately when it reaches the number of targets in 15f in the settings.

Also, using the plugin, Rend and Revenge are cast in the middle of nowhere - hitting nothing sometimes, it is almost as if there is a queue that the bot follows and when it performs, monsters are nowhere close. Belphegor's would only perform when monsters are clearly in range.

Having said that, this plugin's Avoidance module is way better than Belphegor's, way speedier, way better crowd control, way better avoidance.

Hi Giles. I don;t have many issues with this plugin and over time I think it will be better then Belphegor's. One thing I've noticed recently is that when chasing goblins the bot gets easily distracted by other mobs or just stops. This did not happen (as far as I know) with 0.52 or below.

Is there an archive, Monk seems terrible bad in 5.3.2, old version was whipping butt in Act2, now it's taking forever. Giles is on holiday obviously :(
