PiroxBots is Closing, All Aboard thebuddyforum

I'm realy impressed how it navigates through the map. Even the bot toon has to loot something he doens't just mountup and fly to loot, he walks around the hill and loots... realy impressiv
I tried the quest function today and I nearly fell over backwards.

The only thing, I'm not so happy is the "falling procedure" while gathering. But I gues this could also be changed.
I tried already to change something but yet it didn't work. But I'm sure we find a way :P
 
Yes, nav mesh is far superior to thousands of waypoints.
Kick 1-58 questing profile is 50kb in size.
My Pirox 1-60 questing profile is 5,5mb in size with equal or slighty less quests^^.

I have writen I don't think so, but now I think a banwave may come.

I interprete this as p. will give them his sources so it should be very easy to detect his bot.
I doubt blizz will spend the time / money to give his employments the work to development a detection algorithm
but I think its better for us to change to hb and start learning the usage of hb as fast as possible
(instead of bottihg with p. till the final close)

Honestly, I guess some people were never taught what my Momma taught me: "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".

I welcome the former Pirox botters. I have no idea how good their profiles were since I never used Pirox, but at the end of the day, if they bring new ideas and talent with them, how could that be a bad thing? I'm looking forward to seeing some of what they put out - if they had things that were working really well using Pirox, I'm sure most of them could create some great HB profiles/plugins and CCs here as well.
 
The only thing I am concerned with is if all of the ex-Pirox users migrate here, the overall attitude of the forum might change unless the mods are on top of it. While there were plenty of Pirox users who were friendly, the majority seemed to be hyper cranky and would rather berate you and yell about using search first instead of simply redirecting you. Didn't happen to me personally but while botting I always peruse the forums looking for new profiles and saw so many threads where people were downright vicious to one another.

I'm only concerned because I haven't seen a terrible amount of that here, save for one or two random posts that were nasty, would hate for a community to take a turn for the worse because the anti-social came piling in in droves.

That's good, I haven't really seen anything by Tony, but Kickazz seems like a good guy (love your profiles <3 btw) I've still only been here about 48 hours or so though, but I like this community a lot already. This bot amazes me and when I first turned it on and saw it was pathing and not using waypoints I got all nostalgic for Glider and ppather, definitely a HB customer for life now.

anyone who remembers glider... hawker did some of the cc's over there, and now he's the project mgr for hb

and yes, i am awesome =)

tony has some gb1 / gb2 profiles out, basic routes and such; but as any experienced botter would say ... make your own! (farming profiles)

as for questing ... it's very hard to see if you're botting unless there is something wrong w/ the profile, which is why i'm running 2x 1-80's this week and ironing out any issues that users have posted, are posting currently, and any issues that I come across

any quests that are too hard and are easily disabled (w/o messing up the whole zone) i have disabled (1-2 per profile atm - which isn't bad at all; but i've also added a few otw, so it makes up for it)

Altho i had a pirox key, i never really used it (As i prefer to use HB and the other bot that is not closed down)

But one thing i will miss is there account buy/sell section of there forum. I sold alot of accounts on there :(

It's been a long while but yes, I do remember Hawker, another one that is still stuck in my head is MadHatter but I think she is utilizing her own privately created bot.
