Okey gold is officially deaded, 0,25 and still not selling. Time to put all that gold in my ass and delete chars, wts new pc,wts everything. /slit wrist /cut tongue.

no money for school, bot screwed me,no tuition fee, fack,, all gold in ass.

Give gold to chinese bot in public games. they will appreciate it

how do that? get paid or free like sloppy seconds?

this is what people were predicting all the time. though i didnt think it would hit the bottom that fast. wonder how many of the people who were buying new computers will sit on their costs now. well... lesson learned i guess.

As I've been saying since the beginning of D3, gold is a temporary currency. It's only going to be worth something for *maybe* a year. (And it hasn't even hit a year, and it's almost worthless)

New currencies will be just like old Diablo games. Items. Get to MFing, sell your items, not your gold. (Sell the gold if you can, but don't count on it as a primary income source)

People are always looking for high-end items, not gold.

people will always need gold in D3 ALWAYS ... why? because of the GAH ... nearly everything is traded via the GAH ... that is the main differnce why gold was totally worthless in D2 but its woth something in D3
the gold price will drop because there is so much gold around but you will always need it ... so no new currency like SoJ direct trading like in the D2 days just takes much to long

its a little bit like dollar and oil ... you dont want to buy dollars but you need to buy it when you want oil :D

I dont see the problem. gold vs $ goes down and gold vs good items goes up. Dont make a big differnce to us...

And as gold becomes worthless, more and more items flock to RMAH, until GAH is mostly dead, people are forced to buy gold again, gold price goes up, items start coming back to GAH, less people buy gold, gold price flatlines, items start going back to RMAH...

It may wind up being permanently useless. I'd wager it'll cycle back, for those who have the patience and the finances to wait it out.

Sitting on D3 as a primary source of income isn't wise.

But EU's RMAH is dead. How can we sell items if no one buys them? I've never sold anything on RMAH, even good items, which then were sold on GAH in few hours or even minutes.

Then you're doing it wrong. I've made over $500 the last 2 weeks just from selling items via RMAH with 1 bot. Don't know what your issue is.

LOL. I'm doing something wrong then. I should be doing 50k$ a month ez then.

you guys do know that the ah is broken atm? no need to panic ...

While that's true, gold's worth will be incredibly low, basically forever. You'll start seeing really crappy items being sold for billions. Unfortunately, any game where there isn't a regulated economy and good gold sink, this will happen. (Especially considering there's only gold, no in-between currency like copper/silver/etc)

Again, the market will be with items. Not with gold. Prices will fluctuate on gold, but they probably won't be worth farming after some point.

I predict a huge gold sink in the PvP patch. They will not allow the economy to totally tank, remember blizzard is making more than all of us combined. They have a huge stake in the economy of D3 and they can directly effect the exact way it plays out.

Mark my word gold sink comes with PvP.

eco boost from players coming back, gold prices go up because of this
gold sink will also cause prices to go up
I wouldn't be surprised to see it hit 1$ again

I'm not an economist or anything like that but this is my prediction.

These is just Your illusions, why they didnt implemented any gold sink at start of this game ? They had YEARS to develop solution regarding this matter, and must knew that at current state economy will be oversaturated with gold quickly, just like in previous games in Diablo series.

there will also be a new goldsink when they introduce new craftingrecipes with next patch. but that dont means it is enough to let goldprices rise.

Because if they added all the good stuff from Day 1 they have nothing to bring the mindless herds back with on day 250. Thus hold back good content and or fixes to core mechanics.

Your illusion is that morons run a multi-million dollar company. They know what they are doing. Do they hit the nail on the head every time? No. Do they continually make record breaking games that are extremely popular for decades yes. There fifth expansion to tired decade old game just sold more copies then most companies see with their initial release.

Do I wish they would release a game with all the ideas they have on day one very much so. But they are here for money and the best money is keep more people playing longer and by nature video games get old with time. They need to bring people back with new content and new content that is worthwhile is hard to come up with. Thus post pone post pone post pone.
