blizzard already are banning people as much as they can
the current gold sink is non existant, meaning money never disappears, there is a reason that the united states of america actually retires bills. Its so when they print more =gold being dropped ingame is the equivalent to this
so when this happens, there isnt massive inflation, which is exactly what we have seen
creating a better gold sink will make the economy more stable, otherwise people will stop working for their gold because they wont ever lose it

First of all, D3 economy and real world economy are so different that its not possible to make straight analogies between former and latter, so dont patronize me. In real world money isnt generated by consumers at will, but by government, and that alone makes Your example with US irrelevant. Besides, saying that US gov is retiring bills to avoid inflation is so stupid that i would event bother explaining how wrong that statement is. If lack of goldsink would be the problem not chineese, then we wouldnt observe high goldprice spikes during banwaves. Those events clearly shows that there is demand for gold, but effort to "balance" economy while some ppl are able to run unlimited number of accounts devoted exclusively to inserting gold into market is just hopeless. If blizzard would do something to increase need for gold, that would mean increased profitability for chineese, who would just set up more bots, due to improved rate of investment return.
