OMG gold is at 0,25, been 5 hours, cant sell anymore, gold is deaded

He is saying 'why the heck would I tell you the items I sell, because if you do you will too then I won't make any money with them'. I wouldn't share mine either.. doesn't mean I'm gonna get my cock out tho and start waving it around :/

@bottletorch: you got 2 opinions:

1) teach us what you mean with "flipping" and why it is that interesting compared to goldselling. then you got the "whow, this is a smart guy" feedback
2) continue with unmeaning postings and zero content, waisting your and our time ;)

and why would he teach a lazy person how to make profit like he does... that cuts from his... its simple learn to make money or make none....

its kinda like no shit sherlock buts hes acting like he has some super gold mine nobody else could possibly come up with... i'll tell you my items cause i dont give a fuck. LS weapons sell instantly if u get for the right price. set rings... not going into specifics there, and one that I am currently raping the rmah sells on is.... tell you next week.

for those of you guys who think gold price dropping won't affect item value is WRONG

item prices are also depreciating fast in GAH. They actually needs to have a decent stats to sell it for 1 MILLION gold

This. If it was just gold dropping in value it would be fine, but items are dropping in value every day as well, because there's always new items coming in, but the supply is always going down as more people buy the shit they wanted. This is ONLY gonig to improve at big patches (and none are coming for quite a while).

Hopefully they'll add a real gold sink similar to the BMAH in WoW, and hopefully PvP will make players want to upgrade their gear more often.

PvP isn't coming for a long time though. I'd say at least another 3-4 months. We're in for some shitty times.

Word on the Chinese forums is that there is a gold dupe on the NA server and that's why the price of gold has tanked so quickly.

i think its easier to influence virtual economy, than the real one.

So im sure blizz will take measures to keep the gold cow alive

bought lacuni with high str/crit for about 160M 2 weeks ago (when the gold price was still about 0.35€) and had to sit on it until undercutting to ~ 35€ buy-out... that was not very funny :p
that's why i stopped to try gold/item swapping and i still believe it's a difficult thing if you don't have a billion on the bank.

just compare the supply of nice items between Gold- and € AH. There is 400% more offers for special high-dps items on the Gold AH and only few offers (unsold) at the € AH for the same item-stat range.

but well, if gold doesn't sell for 0,25€ (my gold-auction is still open) i have to give it a new try... ;)

EU-RMAH is close to death when its about sellings items. actually its pretty dead when its about selling gold as well :/

yeah, my friend sold his 0,25€ Gold yesterday, but mine is still unsold... (~100M)
remembers me at the time when gold price was 2,5€/M and you needed luck to get it sold^^

hopefully the rumours about a gold dupe are correct, but i don't think so. D3 just seems to lack in active players that want to upgrade.

the new patch is just unimportant and the coming pvp blog also a small fart in tristram.

Apparently the patch today fixed a bug which allowed duping.
Just gonna sit back and see if gold prices go up.

Yeah, that's what's really causes the problems with gold selling. 3-5 days ago there were tons of players who wanted to upgrade and bought gold, and now they're all stopped playing D3. Seems realistic.

From a reputable D3 fansite about this patch,
We?d lately heard rumors about a tricky but functional duping method that Blizzard had been tracking for some time. Apparently they found it.

Not sure how reliable this is, but there you go.

i think they need to introduce a gold sink. repairs and gem upgrading is the only two things. which is a joke. they need to create Gheed or a revised crafting or some other form that will drain peoples gold a lot faster

There was a bug going on under the fairys... people probably noticed the floating price around 11k-35k during the day...

Not a gold dupe, but a way to get money from unware people.

Thing is that economy in d3 is in fact balanced, only chineese are screwing it flooding market with trillions of boted gold, as shown by recent banweaves which instantly raised prices by 5 cents. So it would be hard for blizzard to create sink which would destroy all that chineese gold and dont screw normal players who can barley earn several millions per day. And then probably chineese would just setup another few thousands of accounts seeing increase of profitability, which would return us to current situation again. So in the long run, only way to prevent gold worthlessness is to get rid of chineese which isnt going to happen.

this is just wrong. i can direct you to an econ class if you want.
blizzard already are banning people as much as they can
the current gold sink is non existant, meaning money never disappears, there is a reason that the united states of america actually retires bills. Its so when they print more =gold being dropped ingame is the equivalent to this
so when this happens, there isnt massive inflation, which is exactly what we have seen
creating a better gold sink will make the economy more stable, otherwise people will stop working for their gold because they wont ever lose it
