[OFFICIAL] Rebornbuddy Questing Pack

When using this, am i doing something wrong i got the bot to work for the last 25minutes or so, but it seems to be only running to the story quest and not doing / accepting anything else

ill post a log when it generates, thats the most recent log so i hope its the right one.


also is there an option to skip cut scenes i thought i saw an option and i clicked it, cant find anything anymore, would save alot of time if the bot would skip them

So the next part of my story quest is givin to me in ul'dah as a new player who has never been there does anyone recommend how i should get there? google has failed me, Or do i not need to worry about this as the bot will go there and pick it up when it is neccesary? i figured i would want to get these out of the way asap because i was starting to out level them (being lvl 16, but story is lvl 13) and back tracking kills time.

Also sorry, im at a wierd spot my character is lvl 17, but im only on lvl 15 of the story now i dont get the next part till i go to a city named ul'dah, so far the bot has not made its way there it has continued to quest in the area, i was trying to stay caught up on the main story so im wondering if i should stop the bot and manually catch up on the story? because im already lvl 17 so i think im ready for the next profile pack.

You're supposed to let the profiles do everything, basically. If you're teleporting to different zones or moving manually to different places, that's where the majority of navigation issues will occur. It will automatically load the 15-50 profile when the 1-15 one is COMPLETELY done, as seen here:

Ok then i can safely assume that at the end of this, it will have made its way to ul'dah and grab the next part of the story?

I'm assuming that earlier in the profile it was supposed to pickup the Swiftperch Aetheryte at some point, but either because of something you did or the profile not performing as intended, it hasn't picked it up yet.

Manually pickup the Aetheryte and try the profile again.
 
Secondary Class

Hey hey! I'm just restarting the bot for my secondary class (marauder) I started the LimsaLominsa_1-15 profile but it just sits and gear checks. I've ran around trying to trigger the right quests to fire this profile up, to no avail. Tried looking into the log, SelectStringClickTag pops out, not sure what that means but if you could help me out that would be fantastic! The profile worked great the first time around and am very appreciative for the help!

If you've already done the 1-15 profile on your first class, you can't do the 1-15 main scenario quests on another class, unfortunately (you can only do the main scenario quests once, regardless of class). It's time for Fate Bot for you! ;)

EDIT: I saw in your log the class that loaded was Miner, so not sure if that was the correct log. :p

I got the aetheryte, started the bot it went and did a quest or two but then again it stops, does it not do duty quest?

Sorry i have no idea what im looking for in these logs, do you know of a guide i can read up on to see what is wrong in my logs, also if this is telling me to manually do duty finder, this isnt afkable then?

I really do appreciate your help i dont have any prior knowledge of programming, or working with anything like this other than DB / HB and i only used the leveling bot in WoW and that was 1 click and it ran perfect i understand FF14 is newer and has things like fates and i guess these duty finders arent manually programmed in yet, im just letting you know my limitations with this kind of stuff, would i be having these issues with duty finder and such if i started fresh? basically would starting fresh solve all my problems?


I honestly figured this bot would run duty finder like WoW does dungeons etc, not that i would have to run them manualy.

There isn't really a guide for log reading atm. Wouldn't hurt to have one, I suppose. Will keep that in mind.

Due to the way SE has you go through the main scenario, you have to do Duties throughout the questline. Unfortunately, a Duty Bot is not included with RB, so yes, you need to do them manually, unfortunately. The questing portion of the 1-15 and 15-50 profiles should be nearly AFK on a fresh character. It's the Duties that tend to extend the time needed to get your first class to 50.

All players are essentially required to do all of the Duties you come across during the main scenario quests in order to progress the story. It's like if WoW made you do a dungeon before you could continue on to the next quest. HB would run DungeonBuddy, but as of this post, RB does not have an equivalent.

If RB had a DungeonBuddy equivalent, it would work the way you expected it to.

Questing, as long as you don't do any main scenario quests manually, should be fine if done from start to finish on a fresh character.

Duties, as of this post, need to be done manually. You can use something like this to handle your rotation for you while you control movement if you'd like:

Hey i didnt have 1 problem from level 1 to 15 but i change its to level 15 -50 and it only done 1 level and it started saying bot ended
