[OFFICIAL] Rebornbuddy Questing Pack

Hi there! i am doing the main scenario. Bot starts in wineport(cause anything else will give me a "not a viable path") , walks a bit and keeps standing on the spot doing nothing!

I've attached the log.. it has something to do with minfilia.. but the problem is.. she was taken away(because of a mainquest) and is not in the waking sands anymore..

Any suggestions?

restarting the bot helped me out there :)

But now at lvl12 it really seems to have no idea where to go:

Have you tried abandoning the quest it's trying to complete? Your log is all over the place, profile-wise, so I'm having difficulty tracking down what exactly it's trying to do.

The "from" and "to" coordinates are quite different from each other. Are you sure you're in the correct zone?
 
Have you tried abandoning the quest it's trying to complete? Your log is all over the place, profile-wise, so I'm having difficulty tracking down what exactly it's trying to do.

I fixed it by deleting all my completed main scenario quests(in the xml) and the normal quests in between, til the quest it was supposed to do. Had to figure out which side quest i was doing, but it's all good. This could be good info for people who ran into the same problem.

Due to the way SE has you go through the main scenario, you have to do Duties throughout the questline. Unfortunately, a Duty Bot is not included with RB, so yes, you need to do them manually, unfortunately. The questing portion of the 1-15 and 15-50 profiles should be nearly AFK on a fresh character. It's the Duties that tend to extend the time needed to get your first class to 50.


All players are essentially required to do all of the Duties you come across during the main scenario quests in order to progress the story. It's like if WoW made you do a dungeon before you could continue on to the next quest. HB would run DungeonBuddy, but as of this post, RB does not have an equivalent.


If RB had a DungeonBuddy equivalent, it would work the way you expected it to.

Ok well im confused because i started a new character and it got to lvl 5 and stopped, so really fresh character or not something is stopping the bot from proceeding, i wish i knew what to look for in these logs. these logs are from the fresh lvl 1 i let run all night.


So till i hit my first 50 i gotta sit here and watch the bot incase it needs to have me manually run a duty? more or less i gotta baby sit it? ever since hitting 19 there has been duty's back to back, so the bot hasnt gotten far.

Pretty much. Don't blame anyone working on RB, honestly, aside from the fact that a Duty Bot is not yet implemented. SquareEnix decided to lock you out of future main scenario quests until you do a specific Duty.
 
im not blaming anyone, im just trying to get all the info i can so i dont sit here and complain about stuff not working, sorry.


Is there somewhere i can configure things like repair/selling junk items and such? i couldent find like a general settings area or even a specific class/character type settings, just the devtools i get when i start RB up.
 
I'd prefer it not to do duties, thats how you get reported and banned. Just saying.

Yeah, there's a bunch of duties early on but you can think of it this way, either you do the mind numbing boring dull quests or you put on a movie/music/study/whatever while it does em for you and you pick up when it needs.

Also at higher levels there is much more disparity between them.

This is how I handled it - I would go to this link here to see what levels had a duty. If I was near the level of a duty I'd stick around, but if there was a duty ages later I would happily leave it. At least this way I have a good idea of how long it will run for.

Can I recommend stopping the bot at grand company selection?

It is extremely punishing when the bot chooses the wrong one. I returned to my PC when it was too late to change the decision.

Now to change to adders from flames (my friends pvp there) I have to get max rank with flames which takes a very long time and a lot of work before the option becomes available.


By the way, the bot is unable to navigate the houses with areas beneath them in coerthas or the quests outside snowcloak.

When the bot fails to find the path it will be incredibly obvious to onlookers your bot is bugging out.

If you see that there are navigation issues, posting here may be best as mastahg can update the nagivation mesh RB calls for everyone to use:

Thanks.. it's too late now, there was a LOT of areas throughout this that I could of posted there and I don't remember most of them :( I don't have the info anymore.
 
Level 45. Bot no longer worked, it just kept saying for example:

Never said what location that is for me to put it in and I couldn't remember where it was last, tried everywhere, never worked again.

Re-loaded profile, keeps trying to go to limsa and talk to NPCs from level 1 or something even though I loaded Main Scenario 15-50.

How do I fix it

I have to say, when I saw the pricing on this bot I thought it was out of alpha (and I don't mean this profile, I mean this bot). Feel completely ripped off with the 20-30 min fate bot unlogged crashes and so forth.

View attachment 2976 2015-05-25 11.28.txt Hello. The bot was working perfectly until lvl 23 or so when I got around the quest "Never Forget". A little after I got the Chocobo license and all. I keep getting the error of:

Over and over again. I read earlier, someone mentioned that they just deleted the completed quest from the XML. But i went into the Questing pack XML and did not see where to do this at.

When this profile do the things for chocobo combat companian thing? I am 21 lvl and still waiting...
