Your providing a time based service, and not at least pausing our subscription times or extending our subscription the number of days your service is down is unacceptable. As many months as most of us have paid already you cant extend when your product is down?

It doesn't even come down to right or wrong, it comes down to keeping your customers happy. In general with anything subscription based, just like wow, if there is down time your service time will be extended for the duration of the downtime.
Hey, I went to blizzard forums (Customer Service) and told them of my issue. I was like "Wtf?! How are you going to update warden like that? I need some compensation because I cant bot with HB at this moment, and till I can, I feel Blizzard is liable for my downtime." Well, sure as the world, I got one month of gametime and they contacted Bossland, who works for them by the way, and got my free upgrade to Lifetime" So I suggest you, and the ones that feel as you and I do, to go to their forums! Take it to them!

Sorry, people like this crack me up. The downtime is caused by changes within Blizzard in which does not give you compensation for causing downtime on the actual servers. However, as most large companies, they may compensate you if you complain enough. That means get on the phone for numerous hours to get compensation for game time that would have been cheaper in the long run to just pay. For instance a monthly subscription is $15. If you get a free month, then they are only crediting you at the least about 2 hours of work if you are minimum wage. Sorry, but I am not minimum wage and my time is worth to me a hell of a lot more than $7.50 per hour and the frustrations that goes along with people who either have you on hold or pretty much doesn't want to hear you keep crying. And God forbid if you are having to do this for multiple accounts!

As for HB and GB being down, this is an addon software like Endnote is to Microsoft Office. Office 2010 was released for a few months now and Endnote is still broke.

One vibe that I am getting from a lot of these people is they don't really bot in moderation. These sound like people who bot 24/7 on multiple accounts farming or leveling and selling characters. Like I said in one of my other posts about moderation. The more you do things like this, the more you draw attention to yourself and to this community from Blizzard. Glider was focused upon as someone else stated they had developed a huge following and over users. I sure would hate for HB/GB to do the same thing.

And give these guys some time. They released the 1.9 questing beta and everyone seems to be complaining about it. It would be much more useful instead of complaining, but to actually provide information as to exactly what is wrong and information to back your statement. Saying "It's broke" doesn't help anyone on getting "it fixed". Specify reports and give logs...

Sorry.. Just so frustrated with all the "babies" out there crying...
 
Yea, everyone who is bitching about not being compensated for the downtime... you guys are right... Bossland and Ski, and the other mods should NOT update things, just let it go so we can all get
on, get CAUGHT, then BANNED!!!!! Yes, HEAVY SARCASM!!!!! Get friggin' real. Bossland and his crew are working their asses off to make botting as safe as they can, keep things up to date, and you want
them to compensate you???? I know... How about whenever they have to spend THEIR personal time working on a product that WE use to CHEAT, they CHARGE US for the upgrades... whaddya say.. good idea or what??

Those complaining need to get real. It's a MAJOR commitment to design and maintain something like GB/HB. You need to give these guys a note of thanks, not bitch at them!!!!

Tell me would you be willing to pay more money for the use of this product? In other words most of us know there are always down time when a huge patch comes out, so in order to compensate YOU for not being able to use the product maybe they should charge more money so they have a reserve sitting in the bank. What do you think about that? Would that work for you? I can't even believe people using a bot to gain advantage of a game they don't even need to play bitching and whining about being compensated for a few days or even a few weeks of down time while a company is doing whatever it can to protect their customers. Apparently you would rather bot without an update? Good god. I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled hb/gb and made it a private bot just so they don't have to deal with all of the damn whining. I know I would.

Srsly.

When subscribing to a product like GB/HB. You should expect downtimes for patches, definitely big patches.
 
My only concern/complaint is that I would have liked to have more regular updates on the progress so I know about what time I should check for a new download. Lame as it is, I've been checking several times a day so I can get my alts leveling, and I keep wondering if it's going to pop while I'm at work (which lately has been a lot). So I would say that while I understand that they're probably ultra busy updating the software, it would be nice to be kept in the loop on estimated completion times and a little more specificity than probably sometime tomorrow....especially when it's tomorrow and there's no update from yesterday.

Yea sorry, the post says HB would follow GB within 48 hours. The post was made on the 22nd

But it was updated with that information only yesterday.

Still wanting the initial stance spot for WSG botting to be changed in the new release plesase devs. Gotta hand-play call to arms on europe due to it standing near the gate. I presume it can be overriden with a plugin so if any nerdy guys feel like whipping something up...? You can get me to 80 in the next 2 days if you do ;) lol.
