I figured what do I have to lose. The account is seemingly banned.

HAHA!!! So get this guys!!!!
I just turned my GPScheat app off, went outside with my phone to walk my dogs, turned on pokemon go and went to a local pokestop, then caught an actual pokemon!
No more ban!

I then came home, thinking Niantec somehow is doing more actual GPS checking with the iphone, just to confirm I tried using Poke Go ++ and faked my GPS to down the block and caught another pokemon.
(FYI, After the pokefarmer stopped working, I tried this same thing and it didn't work with my phone and Poke Go ++ hours ago when I was spoofing to SF, Ca.)

Anybody that has the "Can't catch anything because they instantly flee" problem (that's the only problem I've had, no login issues), please walk outside and try to catch a pokemon for real to confirm, assuming sufficient time has passed from where you were spoofing from and your actual real location.


Theories:
One, actual pokemon go normal use and NO spoofing at all works! (well sort of, as Poke Go ++ down the block worked).
Two, the time period for a temp ban may have elapsed?
Three, Maybe my appeal worked?

I think they use the shadowban like in ingress. Put all botters in a sandbox so they can login but cant be a Part of the real game.

all left is for the screen to occasionally have static all over with location inaccurate or in this case just saying gps not found. Would be easier to check if there was a similar ingame chat haha

I did the first one, and I can confirm it did not work. I went outside to walk 1km, to get one pokemon. It ran away, so I walked 0,5km more just to get it 100% confirmed - worst 1,5km ever.

I don't know when mine stopped working because I let the bot run overnight but its working now and its 6pm where I live. Back to farming in Central Park (which is where I was the whole time). Now I'm going to be super careful to not change locations too fast and keep a jogging speed and not log in on my phone at the same time. Omg, I'm so relieved! Quick question which I hope someone knows the answer too. Can I use Blossom's Pokemon Manager while bot is running or would that risk getting banned again? I know I can't use my phone while bot is running.

after 15 hours my soft ban is over! i was able only to catch pokemon now i can do pokestops!!!!

Ok, I can also confirm this.

Looking at my Pokemon Journal the last pokemon I captured was at 7:22AM
After that I was getting 100% flee on pokemon, I was able to fight in gyms and spin pokestops, just no collecting

I kept trying during the day and I was unable to capture

Now it is 7:40PM and I tried and was able to catch another Pokemon.

I then teleported from Canada back to USA, launched the bot, then stopped it right away before it could do anything. I opened QuickSpin to remove softban and then logged back into Pokefarmer and NO MORE FLEE

I set my speed from the car speed of 50KMph to Jogging at 10

I did notice yesterday when I was using the app that if I was going too fast the app would trigger a popup asking me to confirm that I was a passenger in a moving vehicle

Perhaps if you are going too fast past this threshold and unable to send a response back to ther server to verify you are a passenger it flags

Either way, I am back to collecting and botting my lvl 33 account with 33 lucky eggs left to go!

I've had all my pokemon flee on my actual phone too. I keep testing it every now and then. Maybe I just need to wait a bit longer. Perhaps it is a 24 hour soft ban as someone pointed out. What did you say in your appear? Just curious in case it did work!

In reply to that and my post before yours, I did update when I launched the app...but it looks like as soon as I downloaded the update of 1.0.101.0 manually it worked right away

So...was either a 12 hour ban...a bad update after I relaunched and allowed the update to come through via command prompt...or the update had to be done manually

Either way...it works.

Admin/Mods...can you confirm if the update of your application has allowed us to get access...or perhaps was it a 12 hour ban

If your app was updated and now fixes the problem, I will go back to my default settings I was running yesterday. If not I will keep using the new settings I have set.

Yup just came to say scratch that, it is over for me! Phew what a relief! I guess only sensible botting for me from now on!!

Answer to your post before: Keep the settings you have set for now, until we get the reason what triggers the ban. Mine still doesnt work, I might have a 24hrs ban.
And yes, that seems to be the problem (I guess). What else can it be, really?

I will keep my bot close at home for the time being.

I had the catch flee problem as well, and can now confirm a catch (Pidgey) but non-the-less, I can catch again.

I can also confirm that I will no longer bot on this account and have already set up 2 other "who cares" accounts to bot on, hopefully if and when they(Niantic) open up trading, those 2 accounts will have nice Pokemons to trade, who knows.

I think it's potentially a very good idea and one definitely worth looking into. I wonder if they implemented this as a anti bot measure disguised as safety and concern? xD Oh Niantic you!
