[Official] Current Situation, Looting, Fleeing & IDLE

If the risk of use bot its too high may at least give us a good radar that works on android?, we can use it with another account and at least go catch the pokemons aroud there w/o lost so much time.

I am uncertain about the unable to retrieve game data error now. My wife's account was botted VERY carefully and only 5 levels to level 21. Today it got this error, more than 48 hours after the last bot session. All precautions were taken, 10 hour gaps between botting and changing states. Slow levelling, nothing egregious. Being that she was only 21 and got banned, used a different unique IP, I have no idea.

The only dumb thing I did was deleted the app off her phone and tried to log into my banned account first. Maybe that caused it? But really her account was played normally the first 16 levels. The last 5 were just slow botting in NYC.
 
I am thinking here, If the server calculate the rate of pokeball score. and bot scoring every time... cannot be this?
If the programmer do one miss to a any throw...?

Same here. Was playing legit since the 24hr soft ban but I was level 34 and woke up today, hadn't logged in for over 12 hours and couldn't log in on my phone. I made a new account using my PTC account and my nickname was available again. Oh well! :(

I read somewhere that any account over 30 has been banned. Anything under is ok (which may have some weight as I had 4 other accounts all 100% bot accounts but all lower than level 30 and all are ok still.

My (botted) level 33 account is still going after the catch-flee ban.

Well that throws that out, no clue then why my other bot accounts are still up. Strange as those were botted for like 24 hours straight pretty much, my main wasn't quite as bad but still probably obviously botting. xD
 
I seem to have encountered a type of ban where i left the bot farming an area i normally frequent for a long time only hitting pokestops, and now this account cannot gather items from pokestops, even with the smartphone client. However, I can see pokemon spawn and capture them like normal. Its been a hair over 13 hours, but I'll keep trying it. So for now, I'm pokestop banned? :P
 
pfft, figures. I waited and its working again. Looks like a 12 hour ban from looting if you loot an area too long?
 
I have read alot of people have an issue once they get to level 21, My new account is level 18 at the moment so shall see how it goes at 21.

Just got to level 21 and got the pokémons fleeing on first throw but can still loot pokéstops, I will see how long i stay softbanned for.
 
Hell I haven't botted at all since the soft ban last week and been playing legit and still got the failure to obtain game data today.
 
I have catch flee ban also. Will be checking after 12hrs for progress. I believe this was developed so that players couldn't remove soft bans through swiping pokestops.

Seems kinda stupid of Niantic to make a page for ban appeals when they don't even formally inform players whether they're banned or not.
 
After 8-ish hrs., i opened up pokemon go on my mobile device and i was able to catch pokemon again. Seems like my catch flee ban was lifted.

I suggest letting the ban wave die down. Play legit for the meantime
