[Official] Current Situation, Looting, Fleeing & IDLE

what i just started to get TODAY is: pokestops wont work, not like softban where you spin and nothing happens, but they just say try again later(as if i already looted it) but never drops anything, im free to go around and catch pokemons tho, they dont flee at all, dunno if this is supposed to be a ban or something, weirds me out how this company deliver bans without even saying that youre banned(not talking about my case, im guessing mines not a ban, yet)

This may not be a ban , legit players are having these same issues.
 
I received "unable to retrieve game data error" today but at the same time I DIDNT receive an e-mail stating that I am Perma Banned.

So it may be a soft ban that stops the ability to hack the soft ban in game.

I can collect Pokestops but ever Pokemon runs away. ANY HELP?

How do I fix number 2 in SOFT BANS???? I can collect pokestops but every single Pokemon runs away

Also, below is a summary of known items about Soft Bans, Hard Bans, IP Bans

  • Soft Ban:
    1. Original Softban: Pokestop gives nothing + Pokemon fled on first ball
    2. Pokestop gives items + Pokemon always flee
    3. Pokestops always out of range + No pokemon spawn


  • 2. Not sure if this is going to be permanent yet, but it looks like it is going to be permanent with a new Niantic Ban Appeal Page

Dont believe you get an email for ban, just appeals
 
They have, tons of them have it. check facebook and forums of legit players with no bot connection

[11:27:20] Download game settings...
[11:27:21] Download player inventory...
[11:27:22] Download of player inventory failed.
[11:27:22] Restricted response from game server. Try again in 2 hours

it is also not possible to get any connection from my phone

does it mean i am banned?

YES seems you are banned...
 
I have a friend who got his account back today from the server issue , but he said there are no pokestops or gyms and his character runs around on its own. So I'm guessing we aren't banned but this could be possible server issues.... only time will tell

Was he getting the "Failed to get data from the server"?
How many days did it take to get it back?
And did you actually see this yourself or are you just taking his word? lol
 
Yes he was getting the "Failed to get data from the server".
He stated it happened Saturday .
Yes I did see it with my own eyes he works with me.
