I'll be fighting something and at 90-capped RP and its still not dumping into DC, it also isnt Death Coiling to keep ghoul empowered. Looks like there's no logic for it. Try a clean install of hb a d report back ( incl new log)
 
Hi! Been trying this routine a little but need som help... How does it work? Do I have to push buttons on my own? A little startup guide would be nice to get optimal/high dps. Thx in advance from the noob! =)

Alt+q -> enable cooldowns
Alt+e -> switch between single target and aoe rotation
Alt+f -> enable interrupts

that's not really supported by HB internals and we would need to change a lot, which is currently not possible.

We are working hard on another, more flexible and more optimized Core so that each routine will have the same abilities without rewriting everything again and again and again

The first results are very promising, but we are currently fighting with some localization issues (future routines have to be able to be displayed in different languages, that's one of our main goals atm)
The new core needs a lot of testing atm and is changed multiple times a day, once donem necrophilia will be ported to the new core, but that's not done within the next 2 or 3 days, we hopefully can start with the porting within the first two weeks of january and keep your suggestion in mind for this.

I'd say you're new to using HonorBuddy and/or Necro...possibly death knights, too. If you're only doing 17k then obviously you're not using your cooldowns...and obviously you didn't activate them because you didn't know how to because you didn't explore the UI. This is, of course, all speculation since YOU DIDN'T POST A LOG! No log no help!

First of all... Do yourself and your Raid a favour and specc into frost 2h,it does by far more dps

Second...before u hitted alt+q did u setup how to use the gargoyle ?the empower rune weapon? And so on?

Did necrophilia tell u that cooldowns are enabled? (yes necrophilia does speak to you with an ugly voice...but it is talking to you)

Please add a new log where we can see that u pressed the hotkeys.



But again...if u wanna use it for.raiding... Use frost specc ;)
 
Is there some recommended profile settings for blood? Really unsure what to set everything to, like the deathstrike?

There is no "out of the box" settings.
You need to adjust the values to accompany your stats.
If you're running the lvl 3 Garrison, you have a tank dummy next to the tower that has the portal to Ashran.
Go and hit that thang. If you can survive longer than 10s+ your settings are fine for dungeons.
But you might want to adjust them over time though.
As your gear progresses, your stats change as well.

That's not really helping me :(. I get what you're saying, but I'm looking for some settings to get me started, then I can adjust from there.

Set ds to 90% or higher
every cooldown to Something lower
Disable icebound fortitude,for Personal usage when needed
Disable empowered Rune weapon for Personal usage

Start hb, hit alt+q, be happy

That's not true. UNH will outperform frost on many fights, and until you get a 670 wep, UNH will do more in all aspects. Regardless, this is all taking into account no set bonuses. Please go tell every top dk that hes wrong and he should stop playing unholy, even though they're destroying frost atm.

U should reread the current wol Rankings,elitistjerks and simulationcraft... And then come back ;)

My dk is atm 668, and i can't top my own results (manual played) in unholy.

I'm playing dk since it was released and know a lil bit about the class in all it's Aspects no matter if it is uh,blood or Frost.

The Only thing that i'm Bad in,is pvp. I can't get a better Rating than 2.2k


There is currently One (One Single fight) where u r able to slightly outdps frost (slightly means 1k dps if all goes right)

First off I read them, and apparently I read more about them than you, because everyone knows that the current Simcraft results are far off because of the incorrect statweights and bis modeling.. The WoL rankings are useless u need to use warcraft logs, which again, unh is topping. No one uses EJ thats good and most of the contributers have no idea what they're talking about, hence the entire year they said BT wouldn't out-perform RE. I have a 671 ilvl dk and I can easily top my results. I've been playing DK since wotlk launch in all aspects as well, and have raided in world top 15 guilds playing manually. I helped test a lo of the old PureRotation stuff and was in contact with the guy who wrote the dk routines constantly. Not to sound smug, but I'm much more familiar with the class. The only reason I use these is because I enjoy the aspects of the program, I don't need it to raid, and I usually don't use it, but if I'm paying for something to be the "best script" I want it to function as so. I've also tried swapping to frost and using the recommended settings, as well as settings of my own, and I can still get 2-4k more dps than the bot. If I can parse every week and the bot can't, there's a problem. And again, I am not discrediting you or the script, but I would like to see some issues ironed out before I can shovel out $25 which I am more than willing too and would like too because there hasn't been a solid DK script out in a long time.

All Mythic Highmaul fights: Top DPS: Kargath: unholy, Butcher: unholy, Tectus: unholy, Brackenspore: unholy, Twin: Unholy, Koragh: unholy, Imperator: Unholy(alhough theres only like 10 guilds total that have logged it publicly)

I do t think that's True in any of the aspects...i have written the purerotation code for dk ...and i had Only contact to ONE Person ... Which wasn't you.

I can currently Beat every other uh dk which is raiding with Same gear in Same Content.
Simcraft was fixed days ago, and the elitistjerks contributors have much more Clue about dks than u think,but we can easily Team up together to compare out results, if u want

I still have all the skypelogs with the PureRotation coder (alxaw), he was a finnish guy. The Script can top out at 28.0k Singletarget dps for me as Uh and 25.3k as frost. Playing by hand I can do 29.1k Uh and 27.8k as frost. Simcraft results were not fixed, as they still don't take into account proper gear. Unless you run the sim yourself with your own gear, it sims like this: You either get a full 665 Ilvl with no set bonuses which would be fairly accurate, or if you choose the Mythic preset you get sims with gear you cannot use, if you were to implement the 4-set unholy still comes out on top by .13k dps.

I will re-run a custom sim just to prove my point and upload it in a minute.
Sim 1: ilvl 683 Spec Unh, Patchwerk fight : 31965 dps
Sim 2: ilvl 683 Spec 2h-Frost, Patchwerk fight : 31014 dps

Regardless of all of this even if you were to play frost, the rotation still doesn't work properly. Runic Power management is a little off, I've watched it use an oblit with no KM proc at 95 rp. I've seen it sit there and oblit with no KM over soul reaper at sub 35 as well. It just feels clunky, but it is all based around RP management.
As for blood, the Outbreak/PL glyph combo does not work after multiple installs.
Again I want to reiterate, I want this profile to be as good as it humanly can. I come off as a dick half the time and I get that and I apologize, but I have good intentions here.
