5.4 isn't changing mages too heavily, not a great deal will change.

Not too concerned, cooldowns reset once the game starts anyway. I know why it's happening, but a bit complex to explain. Caused by the caching system I've got setup.
 
Fire PvP rotation possibly?

Phase one building instant pyros for burst:
1. Use fire blast (100% crit) wait 8 seconds for second fire blast (100% crit) while waiting for second fire blast re-apply barriers, dot enemies (LB can go up to 3 targets at once), spellsteal enemy buffs, cc.
2. (You need a base of 15% crit for this one) Freeze using nova = frost jaw > scorch (100%) crit > fire blast (100% crit)
3. Same as 2.. using any shatter with a fire blast will give you a instant pyro as well.

Phase two burning them to ashes:
Nova = frost jaw > deepfreeze (need to use glyph so we can use off of gcd) > living bomb > instant pyro > combust > inferno > instant pyro > repeat?
Using alter time on instant pyros, and pom for instant pyro, or pom for instant frost jaw to get a shatter for another instant pyro.. lots of ways to use alter time crazily. I am not 90 yet so I have not gotten to mess around with AT much.

Seems like fire will be be better then ice in 5.4; but it is much more skill based.

Also side note can you set it to not cast anything when we have invis buff or going invis
 
Reporting bug while doing a Raid, the routin kept trying to cast something that was on cooldown and would not continue with routine, below is the log.(10128 is the right one ) after pausing and resuming a couple of times it started working again,

Not too concerned, cooldowns reset once the game starts anyway. I know why it's happening, but a bit complex to explain. Caused by the caching system I've got setup.

Yeah I think Fire is going to need work in PvP, but overall it's not changing too much.

It should already pause when you're invisible.

Hmm that's the first report I've had of the gloves causing problems. I've not got an engineer so hard to test. Looks like I'm going to have to level one. Do you get this issue all of the time? Try disabling the usage of Synapse Springs in the GUI and you should be fine.
 
I wish i had a log, but i kept restaring honorbuddy to finish arena, but the weirdest thing happened in a 25 min match. It happened multiple times. Priest/dps comps only. My UI would break although HB and routine ran fine, Only problem is i use my normal keybinds for trinket and sometime to force a cc, because this cr doesn't chain poly. Which it should do on a healer. What i mean by my UI broke is that if i hit my chardchter button it would go in and out but nothing would happen, same with my keybids, and also both times the opposing priest became an all white spikey haired human. They were undead at the start. When i zxoned back into realm everything worked fine, then when i zoned back into arena it was broke right away. I had to restart wow. Next time it happens I will forfeit the match and get a log. It's just so hard to do at 2k rating. Anybody else have any sort of similiar situations. I do a lot of 20+ minute matches with my dk and never had a problem like this. My other question is should i not be overiding bot to manually cc?

UI breaks? what the actual routines class config or HB's log window?

Manual CC like polymorph? just use the hotkeys for that. I manually frost nova etc

Millz, do you believe there are going to be any changes to the rotations?

I read somewhere that Frost changed a bit, but I'm not sure. I'm playing my mage by hand, and im hitting 130-150k DPS on most fights with arcane doing the same rotation as 5.3...
 
What's the difference between free and full version..? (for both this and demonic cc?)

It gives you a very very small dps increase if you hit alter time with 4? 5? of the new Icicles. (round about 500 dps) I don?t see the need of a change for frost or fire basic rotations.

Yeah, Frost and Icicles will likely need some work (i.e. like Zardoz1 has said, Alter Time on 4+ Icicles maybe? Cast Ice Lance ignoring FoF procs if 5 icicles are active...?). It's hard to say at this point.

Yeah this is it. The fundamental rotations aren't changing a great deal, just a little bit of tweeking here and there.

You didn?t loose an icicle if you have 5 active. If you have 5 and cast a frost- or frostfirebolt the oldest icicle will start and hit and you stay at 5 icicles. (PvE ofc, pvp maybe better for more burst)

Alter Time should be saved for trinketproccs, if it?s the last 3 min cd in the bossfight. If not, use on CD together with icy veins. Don?t think a routine could do this very good, ok as a robot i would wait for 5 icicles cause i?m to dumb to look at my trinketproccs *gg*
