Lazyraider - Titan Arms

Love this CC so much I am working on a modified version of TitanArms 2.0 to include a Protection Rotation with automatic spec detection (no need to close HB and reload another CC when going from Tank to DPS in raids, or DPS to Tank). *removes the need to reload HB to change specs*

Update:
- Rend needs some work. (Rend is not applied quick enough it seems)
- AoE Tanking Rotation does not seem to be working at all.

Need to get some sleep, will make changes and do more testing in a few hours!

PS: Keep up the good work with this CC. Looking forward to seeing Rend stopwatch refined and maybe soon stance dancing re-implemented (if dps increase).

I am very proud to finally introduce a "bug" free Titan Arms v2.0.

Rend and Colossus Smash which did not apply and/or reapply at targets in either raids, dungeons or simply at dummies has been recoded and does now work as originally intended.
I am certain that most of you will have a very positive experience with this CC! Even a poorly geared warrior should now have a chance of topping the DPS meters! Happy raiding :)

I've been stalking this thread for a while and the improvements you have made are great!

I can't wait to see a bug free "Stance Dancing" implemented to this. That would really top the DPS charts.

Very nice indeed! Im thrilled to have a new version out which works properly!
However i may have a solution for the stance dancing, i just havent looked at it yet.

By using macros as

Lua.DoString("RunMacroText('/cast [stance:1/3, nomodifier]Berserker Stance');");
Stance Dancing should be very possible to see in a future update :)

i look 4ward to your new fix for stance dance... im also very happy to see this project being the result of a humble author being helped by the community of this forum. great job everyone.

HAHA! I noticed that in every release so far it has said 1.1 in that section. As long as it says 2.0 or the current version in the CC name space tho, its all good!

Currently waiting for Shaddar's permission to release my own version of Titan Arms that includes a built in Prot rotation and spec detection for those of us who are both tanks and DPS in raid (on diff bosses).

I made some dummy testing and got some interesting results here.

I first did some DPS with Titan Arms and here is the results:

And here comes the little surprise. I made some modifications to Ezarms PvP cc and the results are here:

What i did to EzArms PvP cc i removed rend from rotation so i have to do that by hand but hey.. its just like 1 time and it keeps up whole fight. Removed Throwdown also since its totaly no needed in boss fights. Removed Auto Charge and leap since that is totaly messing fights like Spine. I like that tweaked EZarms "PVE" cc cause it is prioritising mortal strike better than Titan arms.

I dont have permit to share this EzArms (PVE fix) Since i dont have permit from EzArms author and he clearly states all modifications are only in private use.

I have done few fights with EzAarms and it did Ridicilous DPS on bosses. My ilvl is 394 so im pretty good geared. But i have 390ilvl Gurthalak as weapon.

Morchok 25man LFR 34k DPS
Warlord 25man LFR 55k DPS
Slime boss is the most RNG fight cause of the Add waves.. it rly depends how many add waves you get and are you Specced to blood and thunder.
I will be updating DPS on ultraxion soon as i go try it.

The most intresting part is i did with the EzArms (my PVE tweaked EzArms) 50k DPS in NORMAL 10man Madness of deathing. And only thing i did on hand is the moving charging leaping and apply rend.

So with some help i could get this CC ridicilous.. And no it doesnt do Stancedance. But you can do that by hand too with some macroing but it needs abit more focus on rotation.

Im not trying here to tell dont use titan arms.. I have no idea how to Code these things.. i just used some brains and opened that CC with Dreamweaver and made those change to Ezarms CC. Maybe you shaddar wana ask EzArms author can you take the Basic rota from him and add it to titanarms .. since it is Superior to current one. And hell.. as this is mainly pointed With lazyraider so just ignore the Rend issue.. i think everybody is happy to apply it themselfs. Atleast im totaly happy apllying rend myself. LEt the CC do the most Basic rotation and leave the CD?s and Moving, charging and leaping to players. Since the auto leaps and charges is pain in multitargeting. If you try to make "fully automated" raid Arms DPS cc.. its never gona work so that you can get max DPS or even close to it.

What it seems to me is that one who has no experience with coding starts doing a "review" about a modified EzArms to then claim it is better then Titan Arms on the TITAN ARMS thread without even testing Titan Arms other than at a dummy.
I'm glad you share thoughts and ideas, only if you weren't so damn rude. If you dont like it DONT USE IT.

I wonder why you havent got permission to release the modified EzArms though. Where you as polite to him as you are to me?
When i meet people like you i think to myself, "Why do i make CC's or w/e for free, or even at all?" Why would i spend several hours creating something no one appreciates.
I might as well discontinue the project. You could make a CC, Molotov:) Good luck!

I'm not to sure what I have to say will really mean all that much at this point in time (as I've only just started playing my warrior again a few weeks back and haven't had much time to look into your work fully), but I've been botting for a long time on a few different classes, and just have to say that the way your cc runs is just unbelievable, the results i've been getting are just simply amazing to say the least. And from reading your thread here the ideas and where i think you are trying to take this cc really points out that this will be, and to me already is, by far be the best warrior cc.

I've already started using your Bowman cc for marks last week and am having great results from that too, and now i'm really excited about seeing what your mage cc and do.

So I guess all I'm really trying to say is Great work and Thank you, thou that really doesn't seam to cut it for how impressive your work is.
 
idk why but since you put the else if coding of the AOE neither one are activating in your 2.0 release... may want to revert that change in coding idk but just did several 5 mans n i had to activate both Sweeping Strikes and Bladestorm manually; just a heads up. look forward to your implementing stance dance macros.
 
IMPORTANT CHANGES:

Rend has been fixed, yes i know its been much back and forth. But it has been tested properly before its been released now and i can assure you Rend works as intended.
AoE/Detect adds has been fixed and works properly
Colossus Smash has been fixed
Other small changes has been done aswell.




Note: Any non constructive criticism will simply be ignored and removed. As i do this for free, I trust and expect everyone to behave in a civil and courteous manner.

Soooooooooo happy to see this being updated still.

Great job on the update and Rend/CS fix. I am also digging the new detection code.
 
Tested the rendfix yesterday pre-release as well, and I can assure you it does the job. Good work from Shaddar on this. I'm glad that you reconsidered Shaddar, and excellent work on 2.1. I was not able to test your AoE fix yet, but will do so asap!

Edit: Forgot to mention; 68k dps @ Madness yesterday with this baby.
