Trying to get more money to fight a legal battle about braking a TOS(Which is like a contract) by braking a contract... That's the definition of irony isn't it?

Really? The only people who are 'pissed' about this are 'gold-farmers' ? You are an idiot.

The entire point is being honorable and standing by their word as a business. That's what most people are annoyed about. It's naive people like you who have no consensus of the law. Germany follows the same law, as the United States, and many other countries even Russia, regarding Breach of Contract.

Yep, same with Sweden and Norway. Except that in Sweden and Norway if you file a complaint about a company breaching a contract the government itself will do the investigation and take actions if any wrong doing is found. Not sure how it works in Germany though.

Then you are telling me I have full right to sue Bossland? I'm not sure if they havent explained such situations in their agreement.
 
Keep in mind. It was either this or shut down very shortly. They need income to keep the doors open. It costs money to run a business. It sucks, but it is a necessary evil to not shut down. If Bossland shuts down HB, you still have nothing.

I agree that they need to make money somehow but this wasn't a good way to do it. Could have been done better and handled better then it is/has.
 
If they've done this, whats to stop them deciding in a couple of months to change the subscription plans again because they're not making enough?
 
i think bossland just trying to grab all the money he can for now to compensate for the court money and buddy will close down a year later with a massive profit....idk guys just a hunch

Exactly but the thing is that if they don't make enough money now when everyone who has a lifetime key has to buy a new one, they will most likely go out of business. That's one of the reasons I don't like how all this turned out. Suddenly we all have to buy new keys and they could go out of business any day whenever they loose a big court case vs Blizz.

This might make you liable for lawsuits if you try to do this. You clearly have it in writing that the lifetime purchase is indeed for a lifetime. By altering (see not honoring) your agreement, you could be opening yourself up to be sued by everyone who has a lifetime key. You may really want to talk to your lawyers about this before you do it. This could be very, very bad for you on the legal front.



Edit: I am not trying to cause you problems as I know legal fee's are not cheap. I am just trying to save you time and money from possible future lawsuits.

I'm going to lose 5 lifetime keys tomorrow, and i won't be able to pay for 5 new ones.

Massive profit? You must be delusional. A business like this is a huge money sink, and with no fresh money coming in the options are simple. Running license, or closing down business today. No one is getting rich of these petty amounts.

it has been running since 2010... there is money to be made and they made their money and some... now greed is taking over... the bot is unsafe no one is buying anymore due to that.. and outdated... so their way out is to screw the community..

Learn to play without a bot or find another bot and let this one die.. not worth it.

Not sure what you mean when you say it's outdated. HB has been upgraded 3 times and it's keeping up well this the questing profiles and such. The community is/has been great and there are good community devs out there. The only concern I have when it comes to HB is that it's slow AF when it comes to updating to a new patch whilst other bots takes 1-2 hours if even that.

Like phelon explained earlier a few post prior.

I for sure will not be giving this f*ck anymore money.. Spent way too much already fro a bot..

How can there be money to be made when no one is paying for the current version, and the expenses are exploding? No sw company survives on selling software. Licensing sw is the only way.
If you think there is loads of money to be made, why dont you do it yourself? You are obviously done with HB anyways.

You can't compare Bossland to Microsoft. Microsoft is on a completely different level in terms of finance. Bossland is fighting Blizzard in court in multiple countries and it's draining their money which is understandable. I do agree that it's a bad move to do this with the lifetime keys, specially now after 3 banwaves and people complaining about it not being up to date with the game. However they seem to need money badly, I'm going to way a few weeks before getting a new key to see how it all pans out if I even get a new key at all.
