I wouldn't say they are trying to shaft the community. They are fighting a massive company to stay in business and keep the doors open. I just think they need to re-think how they are going to gather more cash. I would be willing to buy another key, and even at a yearly price in exchange for my "lifetime" license. I understand it will help keep the doors open, but I would recommend giving out discount codes to the lifetime users to help with the costs. We can all agree that legal battles are not cheap. We can also all agree we have mostly got our money worth out of HB. I personally think that helping out a compan that I personally use is a good investment to me.

I would ask that products work better as part of the agreement. We can all agree that BgBuddy is in a very bad state. Tauren Navigation has always been a problem. Gatherbuddy can't use guild vaults. Most of their products lack qualityof life improvements. If we could start see'ing these fixes, it would be well worth spending more money on an upgraded product.

it is even better than that: they sold you a lifetime product and now announce, that it is only a 2 year product that - if you bought by the end of 2014 latest - will expire tomorrow. that is total rape....!
they do not even say something like "sorry, we can not extend to lifetime but have to convert into 2 years beginning from now (or whatever time)"... they just changed the description today back to the past...

i DISAGREE AND DON;T THINK NO ONE SHOULD BE PAYING MORE MONEY FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS PAID FOR ALREADY!

They arn't selling any more key's due to a bad product.. if they wanna generate sales they should go ahead and make their product better.

Anyways.. I really really hope blizzard shuts them down and that is only a matter of time, we help them now down the read they still will need more help and once again they will turn to their loyal customers.... Sucks for the community but they do not deserve any more money from us life timers.. no way
 
That was by far - in my opinion - the unsmartest and most corruptive action you could have performed under current circumstances. This will leave a very sour taste to all those who have supported you from the early stages on - 1 day ahead? Really?

I will support you with one more key I intend to purchase and hope you will cease to follow the path you have taken concerning customer service.

They need money.. I will seek legal advice on this. I bought this with a credit card.. as a consumer the product I bought was lifetime.. and cannot be changed just out of the blue. no matter what the excuse..

So if you buy a car with a V8 in it... and go to pick it up and they say well since you now all paid for it.. we decided it was too expansive and we decided to give you a 4 cyl...

Actually i think the 1 day notice is important.

Why the rush? Why couldnt this be announced today, and take effect 1 week from now? Many people will come here tomorrow wondering why their key dont work, simply because they didnt have time to read these changes.

This rush is odd, are they really in such dire need of money that they must make this change with less than 1 days notice? Maybe this is about boosting sales in order to gain credit to keep their lawyers on board, in all honesty this really seems bad

With 50 licenses you were obviously seeking to make $$ using honorbuddy. You made a terrible business decision trusting your supplier to honor a deal that doesn't make any sense for them financially.

Botter's like you, running 50 accounts at the same time, were taking full advantage of all the work bossland has done.

Even with your life-time key ending, you still paid wayyy less than $25euro/session/year over the last several years.

The only people who are really pissed about this are the gold-farmers whose margins just changed. I'm not sorry that honorbuddy had to adjust their pricing. And I'm not sorry you are trying to make a living farming gold in a video game.

You are clueless man. It has to do with a legally binding agreement at time of sale. Also, who are you to tell someone how to make their money or whether or it is ok? Watch your tone dude. You are wrong here. I personally do not give 2 shits about this. I will just buy a key if I need it. I stopped using HB long ago for anything other than coding. WoW is a dead game I could give 2 fucks about. If this whole place went under tomorrow, it wouldn't effect my day at all really. I hope it doesn't because I like botting, but there will always be other bots.

Looks like its end of Bossland. This decision shows they are running out of money after last lawsuit. I give them at best 1 year unitl Honorbuddy will end like all other big botting businesses.
