Have you modified any of the files or any other files in your DB folder Aazaroth?

I have had some wonky things happening with other plugins that would otherwise seem unrelated.

Try doing a fresh DB install with Job's rules in the root folder of DB... Don't modify anything except your loot pickup rules... just to make sure you're having issues with the plugin specifically.

@Job will there be an update for 2.1 or is this here your last version?

I think its the chestrun profile itself you probally use 2.1 chestrun version like i did and it picks up better rares/blues for some reason

Job is active on the forums and this thread.

The current iteration of his plug-in has all that's needed for it to perform properly... Thus you haven't seen updates in awhile as the project is complete.

All signs point to >YES< he will probably update it for the new version.

Since starting these I have geared all the classes out to t5-6 levels so I've set my own rules to trash way more items. I toss almost all the non set rings, helms, bracers, boots, shoulders, and belts now along with a lot of the class specific stuff. It is amazing to see how useless all but a handful of legendaries are once you get good gear...

Once 2.1 hits I'll add the new items to the list and look over changes to old legs and probably set them all to be kept until I've botted a few weeks and seen what is worth filtering again once the theorycrafters figure out the weird builds. The new DB should also (hopefully) properly read +element damage so filtering necks and bracers will be way more effective.

That screenshot shows you are using Trinity scoring, which has nothing to do with loot rules. Anyhow, I have noticed the bot in the past picking up rares despite the setting being turned off, and only rares that were upgrades. This leads me to think that somewhere in DB, Trinity, or another plugin something is grabbing items if they have a boost in dps or possibly an increase in toughness as well.

I used to do that too, i edited for my own preference, i just keep amulets since i only got 1 good amulet after 800 hours of botting. ^^

You could also do like soft and hard rules but it's obviously way more work then just do one "middle"-one, just a suggestion/request.

For anyone editing their own rule set, you can see the drop rates of legendaries here. It's probably a good idea to never trash most of the super rare 1%-3% drops.

I'll do an update for 2.1, likely a soft rule set because I'm sure most of us will start new chars on the ladder and we'll need all the trash legs for a few days. I'll make a medium set after a while then a hard set after enough playtime. They'll be based on my preferences and favor whatever class I decide to bot on the ladder so people will likely want to customize them to their needs.

I want to thank you Job2k9 for your amazing job in doing this rules. God bless you good man.

@Job nice idea i like it, i got a question is there a way to filter items with different stats like: crit.-chance >5 ; int. >650 = keep is that possible and if yes how?

Yeah pretty easily.

[CRIT%] > 5 && [INT] > 650

Just make sure you have a [trash] rule for that item below the keep rule. I omitted the "trash everything else" rules at the bottom for safety, so every item you do happen to evaluate needs it's own trash rule.

A few items to keep from the new patch:
Leorics Crown (maybe?)
Depth Diggers
Ramaladni's Gift (does this currently get picked up by DB?)

I would be very interested in these super strict rules, as I also have my characters geared. Would you say that although very strict you could gear a character from nothing to perfect gear with these rules (doing chest runs for example)?

Since chest running only really relies on movement speed, you could run super strict loot rules as you don't need progressive gear upgrades really. I'd imagine after a week or so of chest running you'd have a full set of t5-6 gear.

I have no idea what DB is doing in 2.1. I havn't actually updated it yet as I am actually enjoying the game by hand. I think I may actually just play this para 600 account and start another for botting purposes. I'll be taking a look over the changes to legs in 2.1 and setting some of the more interesting ones to be kept for now.
