Hi Boss, hi pushedx,
first off all - thx for the reaction, showing still beeing good to your customers
So let's try to figure some things out needed to be taken into consideration:
1. Thanks for give it a try - if now it doesn't work, the most persons will understand
1. An ETA on monthly costs would be nice, because without it is difficult to say anything, everyone will need to make its own mind if it's worth it.
1.1 you have a lot of pro's on your side, the bot is well more sufisticated, smother running, etc. and you have great great great community developers who even make the differece much bigger.
1.2 you will have to figure one thing out - if the bot has monthly costs, downtimes will increase your costs and lower your gains. no one will paying a non working bot. And here comes the main point - pushedx will be the only one who can judge on this i think, the recent long downtimes are part off the whole problem. A non running bot doesn't bring money, does have bad publicity and leads to customers move to other projects (who also have livetime support, so maybe not all will come back).
1.3 to improve point 1.1 there should maybe taken some effort in the "added basiscs" like combat routine to the bot. mabye get some help by demonbuddy - trinity developers - they do a to good job
2. Please keep us informed as well as possible, as i recognize this forum and the poe community, people are very reasonable, polite and helpfull - a lot more than in other games. Also there was a lot of discussion with your announcement to shut the bot down, no real shit storm within the first day. So try to be fair to us all, if it doesn't look to well, we can't demand more of you than try.
3. is there absolutly no way in decreasing the workload on a mid-time basis? i mean GGG won't develop each week a new possibility to increase your workload, so you should be able to maybe improve data-mining -> command binding logic or what ever is necessary to keep it up and running...
At least i just can tell i tried some of the "other projects" in the market, and i made my mind, i would pay a monthly fee up to a reasonable price for a bossland product. I won't give reasons in public unless i get permission to do this, if someone is interessted, PM me.
