Ok reading all the bulox bout % the fact is the right % to this would be anywhere between 1% to 100% you get cought anyone thinking difrent bout it is an idiot i bot for almost an year now and i use GB2 on EU servers MOP and yes i have been banned 1 time for 72 hours for boting way back. I use it on 1 account and proberly my account will be watched from time to time the fact is i bot for 2-10 hours a day.
Ussing GB2 setings bounce and random and i have loot mobs on yeh i know i would get crap shit in my bags with it but is it humman to when you encounter an rare and killed it you leave the loot there NO it's not. I never ninja loot as well. The fact is that i started my bot again the second i could get back in after my 72 hour ban and din't recive any ban again for 8 months now.
The program itself is not detectble what is detecteble is multiply accounts on the same I.P all loged in at the same time so geus what would happends when account 1 get cought.
I change profile evry 2 hours and never do the same profile at the same day i only use GB2 to gather my herbs and ores then i use raid bot to do some dungeons/raids i avoid BGbuddy and other things like that.
So indd it's all bout smart botting and no where near the devs faults you get cought what so ever. You take the risk to bot you take the risk of an ban clean and simple.
I monitoring my bot 100% of time when i go take an piss i turn it of for that mom.

What's the point of botting if you have to monitor it 100% of the time? I'm curious.
If I'm going to take the time to sit down and watch my bot 100% of the time, I may as well herb/farm or do the BG myself. Regardless, many people on this forum have been banned while monitoring their bots, and I refuse to believe you watch your bot 90% of the time, much less 100% if you're botting at least 2 hours a day.
I appreciate your advice though and I agree HB is not detected. I believe Blizzard has just gotten a lot tougher with server side scripts and player reports.

Dude you dont understand it right? People here use 20+ Bots and they didnt have any problems with bans at all or botting smart or whatever.
And now its not possible anymore. We are NOT idiots. Dont try to teach us.
Ofc we could setup a bot like this and lessen our goldinc per char by 10-15k gold. But seriously is it worth it?

It is too risky to bot mop right now.
And even if i really follow your post and bot like this i will still get banned soon. Cause im not botting 1 account im botting 20+ so i will get accounts banned and it wasnt like this before. This started in April.
Do you get the fucking story now? Please whoever comes up with "I bot 1 char no problem mop change profiles every 30 minutes, monitor 100%, write back pms" whatever (Without really knowing if you`ll be banned in the next time or not). Dont bother posting here, dont try to teach us, we know what we are doing we just want a statement from HB.
I wonder if all of you smartheads are gonna post "I was actually wrong with my post i got banned. Whatever i said with monitoring etc doesnt work aswell. Sorry for that"

You keep saying HB is detectible, so what does it matter if someone has 1 or 100 accounts? There is nothing wrong with the bot it's self, its the plugin's profile's etc that you use, and yeah people might of been able to have 10 accounts running 12/7 farming but blizzard are obviously stamping down on botters, you think that its only HB users that are getting banned? LOL

Hello guys, I don't post here very often but I just wanted to try and maybe help people not get banned, I am not a botting expert, in fact, I have only been doing it for a few months, so far I have only had 1 account banned and I think that's because I was stupid and I was botting literally 24/7 in questing greens, it happened when there was a little mini ban wave before patch 5.2. Any way, I am now botting on 4 accounts every day mostly using Gatherbuddy and BGbuddy and here is what I have been doing and I haven't been banned, I have botted on these accounts for months, I was lucky they weren't banned before 5.2, any way, here's what I'm doing, hopefully this will help any one.
1) First of all, I only bot maybe 8 hours a day, I bot for about 4-6 hours in the morning and then another 4-6 hours after 6pm , usually when I come home from work. This is all unmonitored, specially in the morning as I'm working.
2) It's worth noting, all 3 of my "gatherers" are in full Malev gear with some tyranical pieces, they are also fully gemmed/enchanted so they don't really look like bots, I also pvp in them sometimes so they have some achievements, I'm going to work on getting some transmogs as well because I think this helps more then just having a character in questing greens botting 24/7, GM wouldn't even feel sorry for you if he caught you.
3) I am selling gold on these accounts, but only Guild bank gold, I disband the guilds after too, weather that helps or not I don't know but I'm paranoid.
4) One thing I'm doing wrong but luckily hasn't caught with me yet I think is, I send all the herbs and ores to my main account and I sell them from my main account, my main account I only do questing bot or BGbuddy, (this is bad I know) but I really don't give a crap if I'm banned any way cuz I sure as hell am not going to quest manually or honor grind in greens. I AH all my Ores and I cod my herbs or ah depending on prices.
5) I use all public profiles, bad I know but I do. One thing to note thou is I switch profiles every time I log in so that the bot isn't always in the same place, my first account I was banned I think it didn't help that I basically used same profile (Ducks) 24/7 for like 2 weeks straight lol.
6) I chat in guild chat, join pvp premades and do arenas on my bots.
7) They are not SoR accounts but they are all RAF, I levelled them to 80 using Dungeonbuddy with my main and then Kicks profiles to 90. (Thanks Kicks)

It took 2 hours to ban my new accounts for using Gatherbuddy on a custom made profile (only I was using that one, it was made by me), also the accounts were never banned before, had no auctions on ah, and for last few days I was playing on them only by hand ( was getting proffesions maxed). When the banhammer hit I was monitoring them 100% of the time. So to anyone whos spreading rumors that you need to bot smart -> Stop it. HB itself is not detectable ( if it would every acc which got hb attached would get insta banned ) but botting with it is highly detectable. Its definetly not a fresh thing cause its been like that for a couple of weeks now and I really want to see some statement from devs about it because right now it looks like they have no solution at all and they're remaining silent just to get more money for selling bot which is not working properly. If its not like that they should give us at least some information about current status and what are they planning.
100% luck. I had ilvl 500ish on both my herbsers and 100 mounts and achievements etc. did 8-12, and 16-20, so 8h total day. they still got hammered. did TOT lfr on em aswell. it's pure luck you haven't got banned. took the same precautions as you, and more.

Last sunday I bought a battlechest, and I've botted on it an average of 10hours per day. Using kicks profile, sometimes running in the background while i'm on the computer, sometimes while i'm at work..
But right now, i'm staying away from BGbuddy, Gatherbuddy, professionsbuddy and grindbuddy, since blizzard does track those things.
But it's not detected, blizzard employees has just gotten smarter I guess.

Right now if you bot there's a chance between 0% and 100% that u will be banned.
There is also a 0-100% chance that you will find a female gamer willing to send you nude photo's that turn out to be a 60 year old sweedish man.
Of course the chance for the second one is higher on a Europe based server.

I don't tell you what to do it's qute simple if you don't want to get banned clean and simple DON'T bot the minute you start the bot you sould realize you can get banned and it dosn't mather if you use it on 1 - 10 or 100 accounts simple ase that i bot on 1 account and i realize that i can get banned clean and simple thats the risk you take when you are botting.
And it dosn't mather who gives tips on how you can minimize the change. Not even my tips can't help to avoid it when you get cought simple as that.

Well, GB2 is off limits! Dungeonbuddy and the Grind Bot are pretty safe ( using them for 1.5 weeks now 8 hours a day ) But, what do I do when i get to 90 with all my accounts? I can't use GB2 nor can I make money off WoW! :S

Well, till a few days back I was under the assumption that it was impossible to get banned if you took certain precautions and if you botted smartly but now I know this isn't the case. I botted for about 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, had logmeout setup to logout if I received a whisper or got struck. I had bounce and randomize hotspots turned on and I botted on a dead realm with literally no one around. They were still able to catch me and declined my appeals twice and their emails indicate that they are extremely sure that I have been botting.

I just reactivated an account I used to both 24/7 at mop launch, it didn't get banned for over 2 months of 24/7 GB botting. These days it took 3 days to get perma banned. Also bought a SOR account on a low pop server where gold was expensive and I got permabanned after reaching 4 levels via gathering. Also got 72h on another account for using AHbot for a couple of hours a day, 80% of the time supervised and I never thought I could get banned for that. Blizzard is up to something.
Also, I'm on a high pop realm and recently the prices of ores and herbs went up by 100%, so that was a huge ban wave and everyone I know who ever used GB2 got banned on that realm.

I've been botting since 1500BC, I had 100 bots working for me, and I didn't want to farm rocks to create wheels myself, so I had bots doing it, but then Blizz came and banwave everything. Not safe anymore.
Yeah, actually, it's not that safe to bot anymore, I really don't care whos fault it is, if it's HB, I'll change bot if there is another, if it's Blizzard's fault, then I'll probably stop playing the game and try to see other game to earn money from.
