Thank you for scaring the crap out of me!
I just want to say thank you to all of the people in this thread that have been banned. You have scared the crap out of me, so I quit botting for now and I still have my main account with all of my epic toons and heirlooms. I worked Honorbuddy's butt off to make this account what it is today. I cannot imagine what it would be like to be banned and lose the guild that I have worked so hard to build. I would be embarrassed as hell if my friends found out that I have been botting all of this time when they thought I had built everything legitimately through hours, days, weeks, and months of grinding and farming. I have over 100k gold in the GB and every heirloom that exists in the game. I have over 200 different mounts and a couple toons that are almost untouchable in pvp, especially when I use combat bot and the pvp plugin. It is totally awesome to play, and after reading so many of these reports I am very grateful that I have not lost this account. I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!

I think the OP is focusing on the wrong thing. HB is not dead or detected I still use it on my main account every single day. What is dead is GB2 and BG bot. If you use either of those everyone would have to agree there is an extremely high chance of getting banned. Now if that's the only reason you use the bot then yes it is dead for you. I haven't used either since all the bans started but I still use HB for lazyrider for pvp and pve and I love it, so for me the bot still has a use.
Instead of saying HB is dead I think its more accurate to say GB2 and BG's are dead I don't think anyone would argue with that

Only thing you can do is reduce NPH on purpose to around 100 max and bot for a max of 5 hours and no BGBuddy ^^
I think they are also focusing on VOTFW and Jade Forest Zones judging by the ban reports.
Does that mean you bot 5 hours daily each day for the last 2 weeks ? No point in making asumptions if you are only sitting around and got your bots off and you are trying to tell others what to do.

I gather manualy faster than any bot so reducing it will not bring anything safer...
I've used BGbot an unbelievable amount, both on my main to cap conquest and on many many MANY alts to fully gear them out. No issues ever. 1000s of hours, often 6 or 8 hours in a row no breaks.
I have no clue how people are getting banned just queuing BGs. I'm going to guess that in every case these idiots just leave it running while at work or overnight and accumulate reports or deserter debuffs.

I think if Blizzard is trying to be smart, the only strategy to beat that is to make them suspect the efficiency of their "Detectors". One way is to intentionally "act" like a bot, without actually using one, to let them think that the "Detectors" are giving false positive alarms, maybe they will stop it to avoid mass Appeals that are legit and should not have been banned. Just an idea.
People who use the Arelog might also be leaving a trace behind, since the time it takes the Arelog to actually "Relog" is like pretty much constant. So, if you get disconnected 5 times, and it is always taking you 15 seconds to log back in, then definitely something is wrong here!
Simple : Arelog should randomise the time it initialises itself ..
Similar things are happening with HB internally at the moment (eg positioning in BG).
